Location is perfect, right across the street from the Jiangtai Metro Station. 798 Art District is just on the edge of walkable.
The room was a bit dirty, with stains on the carpets. Quite a bit of road noise from the busy street below. Breakfast was mediocre.

We stayed at this hotel as we needed an overnight stay in Beijing on our way back to the UK. It was reasonably close to the Airport - 10 minutes by taxi - and the cost was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful but their English was virtually non - existent (better than my Mandarin though). This made any necessary communication very difficult - Google Translate was really the only way - assisted by one other resident who spoke both Mandarin and English and helped us. The hotel is quirky - but functional. The breakfast is not western - but the selection is large and there should be enough to satisfy most tastes.

Location is ok, 2 minutes walk to subway station.
The hotel room does not have any window at all, the air-con is not working either, the room is lack of air to breath! Shower head is falling off and water goes via back way of the shower head. Everything is so old, need renovation! Ranking in 2-3 * would be more suitable . Do not know how they get 4* mentioned on website. Restaurant only open 7-9 am, with limited Chinese style food. The whole building has a damp humid smell.
