Pros: Beautiful view from pool terrace. Very clean well decorated rooms. Worth paying the extra cost for the rooms with sea view ( larger). charming host and excellent breakfast in small courtyard.
Cons: Only suggestions are to have a box of tissues in the bathroom and heat the jacuzzi . Otherwise everything was perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was as expected - service was good - with attention to details. Helped out with cloth horse when requested and forthcoming with all types of local info to make the stay even more pleasant.
Cons: Nothing to report.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The view from the accommodation was amazing which on the flip side meant we were a good walk from the town centre.... a very steep thirty minute walk...such a shame the local Tuk Tuk Service was unreliable bordering on non existent. Taxis ?? Nope forget it.. we managed to get one and it cost 17€..vs the Tuk Tuk at 10€...if you’ve got a car and don’t mind driving it’s heaven
Cons: Steep hill... mosquitoes have no regard for the repellent

Pros: Amazing location very close to the beach. The manager there was such a welcoming, helpful guy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
7,5 Good
Pros: It was a great location, very close to a beautiful beach. The room itself was lovely, very comfortable bed.
Cons: The breakfast was a little pathetic to be honest, and although we had our bed made up each morning, they failed to take out dirty plates and pizza boxes, or replace used glasses with clean ones. I appreciate it’s pricey in the South of France, but for what we paid, expected a little more.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My partner and I are extremely happy with the choice of the hotel - it definitely exceeded our expectations! The hotel feels recently renovated, everything inside looked new. We booked a room with a terrace and that was the highlight of our stay, as we could enjoy evenings with aperitifs on the terrace as well as brunches there. The view from the terrace was as promised, great, we could see a little bit of the sea. Even though the room size is relatively small, but everything was nicely thought-through - there was a big wardrobe in the small corridor by the bathroom where we could easily fit all the things we had. The bathroom is above all compliments - it was super nicely done, with enough light, great shower and even a magnifying mirror! Also I cannot compliment enough that bathroom had enough hooks for towels/hanging things as well as plenty of space to put all our toiletries. The rooms were cleaned every day, the maids were extremely friendly and considerate (like, if we had a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign out, and then they saw either me or my partner in the corridor, they would ask what would be the best time to clean our room), the room and bathroom felt clean and fresh. The hotel had excellent soundproof walls - during the entire stay of 8 nights we never heard anyone speaking in the rooms next to us/above us (even though we saw that other people were staying there). We did try the breakfast that the hotel offers once and it was super - everything tasted fresh and was nicely displayed, good choice of cheeses/meats, fresh fruit, freshly brewed coffee, pastry, breads, yoghurt etc.; the fact that the breakfast is served outside only adds bonus points. Location wise - hotel is situated in a quiet part of Bandol, 2 mins from the beach, 3 mins from the "town center" and the port, bakeries and supermarket were 2 steps down the street. Service was nice, too, smooth check-in and check-out! We will definitely be back, thank you, Fabien!
Cons: Everything was great, no complaints
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were really nice and incredibly helpful both with parking, booking us a trip to see the Calenques and even helping me with my Sim card for my phone. They went our of their way to be of service. We had the family suite which has a big and beautiful balcony where you get a great view of the sea. The suite is very comfortable, a little bit cramped but still really nice. The bathroom is also very beautiful with a door that opens to the the terrace. Great location too walk to the beach and town!! Highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Breakfast expensive.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Free parking, and right on the beach
Cons: The shower was too small with no wall or curtain so water got everywhere and showering a little tricky. Breakfast a little basic.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms are cleaned daily, the pool is super clean and pleasant, excellent location. Very calm and relaxing place. Beautiful beach with direct access from the hotel. Access to the outdoor pool is free.
Cons: Breakfast is a bit weak as diversity for a 5 star hotel should have more products especially seasonal vegetables, cheese, but what they prepared was tasty. The price of 2 beach bed is about 60Euro per day, them are not free or discounted for hotel guest.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely attentive, polite and helpful. Secure parking for motorcycle. Top class service from two chaps looking after sun bed area on beach. Great tapas snacks.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything , food, staff, hotel, location, can't fault anything, other than the room they first offered me, which was far too small considering we come every year and pay the same price as everyone else once moved all OK, will be back
Cons: Beach facilities, why do guests pay, and then get wedged in.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was like a dream. My room looked directly over the pool and over the ocean. It was the most beautiful place I stayed in the south of France. I loved it and hope to be back.
Cons: There was a wild party going on in an event room next to the pool which lasted pretty much all night. Paying the price for that hotel, all I wanted to do was to sleep with my sliding doors open to the ocean and hear the waves. Instead all I heard was the sound of a crazy party.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location walk to town five minutes. Hotel was missing some five star items bad lighting in the room and the bathroom no slip mats for the shower and the bath was exceptionally high so difficult to get in and out we felt overpriced for five star. The spa and the restaurant on the beach was excellent staff worthy of a five star from the reception to the bar
Cons: Lighting bad in hall you could not see the wardrobe or the safe after the sun went down. Bathroom lighting poor for make up and no safety grab rails or any slip mats
7,1 Good
Pros: Sea view from room and location walking distance to restaurants.
Cons: Staff on arrival continued telephone calls and ignored us. The cost of breakfast is very expensive for what is on offer. The taps in the bathroom are ridiculous and highly impractical. Car parking is pricey.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has a gorgeous view. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and sea. The hotel and rooms are very clean, and good value for the amenities. It’s right on the water and a close walk to town. Food and drinks were great and staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Location right on a lovely beach, 10 minute walking town centre, lots of restaurants and bars. Secure parking, and staff very friendly although most spoke very little English. Breakfast was good.

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and accommodated us although we were early for our booking. It is situated on the most beautiful beach and only a very short and easy walk into Bandol town. I suggest to ring in advance to book sun lounger on the beach beside the restaurant, they book quickly.
Cons: Our room was close to the door people returned at night so was a bit noisy however I would definitely stay again, it was fabulous!

Pros: The staff was warm and friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was extremely tasty The bed was very comfortable, the curtains blocked well the daylight and it flooded the room when we opened them so the room wasn't dark during the day. The area is nice, there is a market every day.

Le Clos Bb - Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer - Building

8,6 Excellent (104 reviews)

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Le Clos BB in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, you'll be near the beach and 6 minutes by car from Les Lecques Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice setting. Not far from the beach and vineyards.
Cons: Need to get in the car as shops, beach and restaurants are not in walking distance.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The pool area is nice.
Cons: We found it very difficult to deal with the staff - as no one was in the reception (even during office hours), a phone number was left on the reception door (difficult for overseas guests to call), English was very limited, and we weren’t made to feel super welcome (e.g we weren’t even shown around the property) . Despite the hotel being advertised as air conditioned (and no mentions otherwise in the description of the room), the room didn’t have any - and the staff weren’t very sympathetic despite us raising this with them and it being a summer heatwave. We were also disappointed to see dirty dishes and towels in our room, and that our room wasn’t cleaned at all while we stayed. The room also didn’t haven’t any shampoo/conditioner and the WiFi couldn’t reach our room. All in all, unfortunately disappointing, especially for the price paid.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient if you ever have to go to the Paul Ricard Race Circuit, some 14 kms away. Great if you wish to have a hint of Provence without breaking the bank. Located in the middle of the vineyards of Provence the little Clos B&B is lovely. You really get a taste of life in Provence. The breakfast is good, so are the room and bathroom. Every room is different but the concept is healthy. Some nice perks such as Provençal soaps. The owner Angela and her managers David and Sandrine are wonderful, very helpful, charming. Angela and her husband Bernard own another hotel with a lovely and very good Provençal restaurant in nearby St. Cyr sur Mer which is worth a try.
Cons: The Clos B&B is a work in progress and therefore the future is bound to be better than today, which it is already delightful. Not luxurious, yet well appointed, elegant and frugal. What there is not to like in Provence?
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, at the border of the city, vineyards all around. Nice pool in the garden, nice stuff (even though they spoked very limited english), A/C worked well in appartment, well equipped kitchen. Nice Appartment, typical provence style with a colourful modern touch (for example in the bathroom)
Cons: Mosquitos, tough to sit in the terrace or beautiful garden and enjoy wine...:-( Bamboo shades over the terrace deserves to be changed, too old, full of dirty bits or something what fell on the table all the time.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice outdoor area by the pool, good breakfast, nice people, easy to communicate with
Cons: The interior design of the rooms needs getting used to, the water in the pool was quite warm

Pros: I was very impressed with my room, it was very spacious with a refrigerator, air-con and a balcony. Anna (the owner) was very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was lovely on the terrace/garden. Renecros beach is only a 10 minute walk, it can get packed in the summer but I still had a good time. You can hire beach towels at the hotel. There are some really good bars in Bandol, I liked the friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants but you may have to search to find a REALLY good one.
Cons: Nothing.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Garden area
Cons: We had the family room, two interconnecting rooms but both small.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and location were v good.
Cons: Soundproofing between rooms; parking could be difficult
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, clean room with beautiful outlook over gardens & rooftops to distant view of sea. Efficient shower, also a/c tho' this was noisy. Helpful staff/owner. Super location 5 miutes walk from Railway Station, centre of town, & beach.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but some fresh fruit would be nice: & vegetable margerine/soya or other milk alternative to help those with an allergy or intolerance - also decaff coffee.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the personnel friendly.
Cons: The interior court yard very small for parking the car. Impossible to turn for exiting...
7,1 Good
Pros: Madame was extremely helpful and obliging. I mentioned I liked hot water and lemon slices in the morning and she remembered for me. Loved the dog too. Old style traditional Provençal house, situated in older part of Bandol which we liked. Relaxed environment at hotel. Plenty of drawer space
Cons: Being an old property meant WiFi kept dropping out and room was compact. Also walls thin so could hear other guests coming and going.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Croissants and bed were excellent.
6,7 Good
Pros: Sea view room was stunning, location to Renecros beach, good breakfast, location to restaurants and town centre.
Cons: External side entrance to room, which was a stiff and awkward to shut/lock. Parking in the nearby free car park was tricky in the day due to high demand. We parked in paid car park 50% of the time which was fine as CCTV was in place. No kettle, complementary tea, coffee, or water in the room. No safe to lock up valuables, e.g passports, money.
7,9 Good
Pros: Amazing view from Balcony

5,0 Okay
Pros: The only thing this hotel has in its favour is its location. It is just 150 metres from the beach, set back in its own grounds, which provides some peace & tranquility away from the hectic crowds of the seafront
Cons: This pace is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are tiny and cramped, with no space for storage of clothes. Everywhere you look there are signs of basic maintenance but nothing more. It is tired and depressing. Hotel policy hides behind a "save the planet" initiative so they only change towels every three days! Crazy in a climate where two showers a day are necessary. Same for pool towels - keep them for three days. Restaurant is simply not worth going to - a chef who seems set on ordering produce from anywhere except local. Silly rules abound - no food served by the pool after a very precise deadline of 2.30pm (we tried to place an order at 2.34, just for a salad, but they refused). Pool security (gate and fence) is broken - the gate just does not lock, so be careful if you take children. The staff tried their best but it seems they are constrained by "the Direction" to save money wherever possible and not to use their initiative. All in all, don't bother with this place until they invest in essential upgrades
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: View, garden and pool
Cons: False and misleading advertisement. Refusal by management to honour facilities promised. Cracked window glass in bedrooms, run down, paint peeling, carpets worn , patched and dangerous in some areas. No refrigerator as advertised and confirmed by Booking. Com. Owners have clearly lost interest in hotel that badly needs maintenance/ painting, new carpets. Modern plumbing etc. Or it could be that they simply have no pride.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location, beautiful setting, romantic style building, wonderful swimming pool!
Cons: Room service level did not meet expectations/price (170 euro/night): fresh towels only once per 3 days (so called "environmental reasons"), never received additional soap or shampoo, no clean sheets during the whole week.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious but not modernised so still has the charm and character of an old, grand hotel. Pool lovely. Excellent location.
Cons: Clientele were mostly older generation when we were there so not much to interest children at the hotel other than the pool. Entertainment was aimed at older generation too.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Warm reception and great dinner on site served ‘til 9:30PM. Free, convenient parking. Outstanding sea view from lovely balcony in room. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: No electric plugs accessible in room.
6,7 Good
Pros: The room was big and clean. The bed was really nice. It was nice to have a small patio with a table and chairs outside our room. The swimming pool area was very nice.
Cons: The room was very noisy, as we had a room in the basement we could hear people talking and going up and down the stairs. The breakfast was not interesting. The building overall is just not as prestigious (anymore) as we hoped. The shower was broken so we couldn't hang it above our head.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was good The service was good Everyone was very nice and helpful I loved the atmosphere in the hotel.
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel atmosphere, close to the beach and many many restaurants. We like staying here when we need to be in the area.

6,3 Good
Cons: No hot water for a shower at 7.45 in the morning.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, staff, climate. The hotel is "old fashioned" with quite some character, so if you're looking for an authentic local "provencale" feeling you're in the right place. If you're into aseptic global hotel chains, you better look for something else.
6,3 Good
Pros: nice location, private parking
Cons: lack of air conditioning
7,5 Good
Pros: Fabulous location to the gorgeous beaches , with cafes and shops very close by. The bed was comfortable and the garden area to sit in was lovely and cool. The rooms are set up very nicely.
Cons: When first walking into the room it smelt musty and damp. There is no airconditioning which I find hard to understand in the South of France in summer although a fan is supplied. The rooms are also quiet dark. The room was also extremely warm and muggy. Opening the window fully did help to cool the room a bit but you can’t leave it open when you’re out. Having the restaurant right in the garden also meant quiet a bit of noise and people walking past the room to use toilet. A couple of times people got the door wrong and tried to open mine. Wifi did not work at all in my room. I tied the breakfast one morning and while nice, did not think it was worth €10. There are also no power points in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing garden with plantains, very close to the sea. Tasty breakfast with homemade orange jam.
Cons: We booked a room with patio, but got one without any patio/balcony. There is certain level of noise from the restaurant when you stay in Deluxe room.
