Pros: The breakfast provided a good choice of food and the serving area was always full of delicious food from local suppliers, especially the bread rolls that were out of this world. The superior double room was very spacious with more than adequate storage facilities. Despite some building works being carried out on the top floor both the room and the common areas were kept impeccably clean. Very helpful staff who made you feel welcome at all times. An extremely pleasant stay that contributed to a loverly holiday.

Pros: The very warm welcome from the owner. Spacious, very clean, well appointed room with small balcony. Good breakfast selection including all important good coffee! All staff most pleasant and efficient. We would highly recommend and would have no hesitation to stay there again. The owner has an easy going manner and sense of humour.

Cons: the room's bed is a little bit too soft for us, the TV is not in good position for watching, the bathroom is very small and tight and don't has any hangers to hang up the used towels and no place to put your changing clothes.

Pros: Surprising comfort and ambience in great location. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Frau Wilke took care of us in the garden for dinner and again at breakfast. Food was good. Great service at check in and check out. A mature and classy clientele. Many spent hours eating dinner in the beautiful garden and talking to friends. Staff spoke English but we didn’t hear any other guests speaking English. It appeared to be a popular destination for Germans and it was nice to be away from the usual tourist crowds.

What worst the starting time is not negotiable :( We have been there 5 pers. and we must buy the breakfast during further travel even it was included (we started at 7:30). Pros: The location is great: next to the touristic city centre, very close to the start of all MTB and hiking tours. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good too.
Cons: For checking in and checking out, there's no flexibility. You have to make sure you arrive before 10 PM, otherwise you don't get in anymore. And for checking out, there is no laye check-out option. Breakfast only starts at 7:30 am, which we consider quite late for a sports holiday. Small remark: the pillows are not good at all. Your head simply falls through.

The prise includes in addition bus usage and Sole-Therme discount. There was no minibar at the room, but you can take drinks from the eating room to your account. Sometimes I could hear some little noise from the floor when somebody comes, but it didn't really disturb me. The location is great. The breakfast is good enough, with quiet musik at background.

Also, the fact it was right next door to the Therm Bad with entry included in the room price was a bonus. Heated outdoor pool was steaming in the winter weather and the sauna complex is a must to ease those aching legs. A nice touch was the games room downstairs with its pool table and assortment of board games

Cons: We weren't aware that this hotel is, in fact, just an accommodation annex to the hotel next door. The reception and restaurant are located in the other hotel. That said, this did not cause any problems at all and I shouldn't really include it as a negative point. The hotel is starting to age but as an overnight/weekend base for the local area comes recommended.

Cons: We stayed at the building next to the main one, where the restaurant is. We found the room to be not as cosy as we expected or wanted it to be. Also, we thought to be quite noisy since - although not shown on the pictures - the building is located quite in front of a big parking lot and bus stop. Hence, not a very quiet area and no nice vew either.

Cons: The room was really quite dated. The flooring was old and worn. The hotel in general was rather old and could use some updating. The room had spiderwebs on the radiator and the corners. The storage closet was also dust filled. The mattress was comfortable enough but the headboard atrocious. You couldn’t lean against it due to its design. Towels were threadbare and there was a used condom under the mattress (found the last day, but still..c’mon). The staff was friendly but were not to helpful in providing suggestions for restaurants in the local area.
