Pros: Really friendly staff and great breakfast
Pros: Nicely situated for walks in the nearby mountains.
Cons: Definitely too expensive for the type of room we had. The room was rather small with a low ceiling and equipped with only a double bed, a wardrobe and a desk and chair. All of which were old fashioned and a bit shabby. The bathroom was tiny. Normally in this price category there would be a sofa or easy chairs. From experience this type of hotel room would cost half the price. As the weather was bad and my husband was had to vomit repeatedly after breakfast we would have liked a welcoming room to relax in with seating for both of us. We decided to call off the trip and travelled home having to pay for the second night with just a reduction of 16€. This is the first bad review I've ever given, we are normally very pleased with our accommodation. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but the room certainly didn't look like the ones on the site.
Pros: Set up on a hill- a good walk from the village. Lovely access to hikes
Pros: Since I have visited this region many times this is the best stay for everyone - either relaxation or business - the environment and outstanding service provides excellent feeling after long day of work and preparedness in the morning to do the best. Facilities are designed for easy use and great comfort. Staff is helpful and recognizes each guest a friend. Personal attitude and support for any issue during stay made my opinion that I have received more than traveler can expect. Very thanks to Christian and his family for such a wonderful joy :)

Pros: It was very nice check-in process, as we were checking in late, it was all organised very smoothly. Breakfast was very good as well.
Cons: Size of the room could be bigger. It was cold inside the room and blankets were too thin to help it.
Pros: Good location. Breakfast is nice.
Cons: Upper level use stair. I had request lower floor and the hotel confirm by chat message I got the 1st floor(1step from the ground floor) but I got 1 floor (30steps)
Pros: The best hotel! Wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast, wonderful room!
Pros: Clean place, good breakfast, comfortable bed

Pros: The location is really good, near to the city centre. The owners are really nice and the cleaning is very good. Recommended 100%.
Pros: Breakfast was very good and location was great. They did have a nice wood souvenir shop attached to the hotel and I did purchased a lot of items and will be trying to purchase more over the internet from them in the near future.
Pros: Kindnes of dear hosts for picking me up from train station in late hour because of delay of my flights. I appreciate it a lot.
Cons: Nothing to say.
Pros: Great location. Comfortable room. Excellent hosts. Were very accommodating when we asked to store our skis somewhere, they even took our boots to a drying room. Would recommend to anyone for a stay in Oberammergau
Pros: This small hotel has much going for it: close to the center of town, an ample breakfast with good coffee, clean though smallish rooms/bathroooms, and a charming exterior. he proprietress was welcoming (e.g., helped us park our car).
Cons: I don’t think we have ever posted a negative review—thankfully websites like this have helped us choose some wonderfully quaint and inexpensive lodgings all over the world, and we have posted many glowing hotel reviews. However, the proprietor comes across as inhospitable (though the proprietress was welcoming). For example, my wife wanted to stroll around the town before check-out but the proprietor demanded payment before she left the premises. (I had already left for Zugspitze.) I understand that some prior guests may have skipped out without paying their bill, but it was the abruptness of the approach for payment that was off-putting. Earlier my wife politely asked him about a possible late check-out, but that was met with a gruff “No, you can’t do that,” rather than something simple like: “I’m sorry, that’s not possible.” At breakfast, she inquired if there was a toaster somewhere in the dining area, but that request was met with a frown--the man reluctantly took her piece of bread and put it in the toaster over in his food preparation area.
Pros: The room... really spacious.
Cons: The hotel was quite good and there is nothing in particular to complain about.
Pros: The location perfect for this exceptional town , carpark easy to excess , easy walking to shops and restaurants and a great location for visiting the ludwig castles .Room very comfortable, breakfast included and exceptionally good .the lady there had valuable information to make it easy to plan your day when visiting the castles .
Cons: Be aware there are stairs , man helpful where that was concerned , just found him grumpy , he never smiled although I kept trying with him , very important to make your guests feel wanted , didn't get that from him !

Cons: the damaged Bathroom / Shower Fittings! Just fixed with a thin rope! How to take a proper shower? Poor maintanance!
Pros: Very nicely updated facilities with elevator. Good bed, shower, desk and a fridge! Great location near center of Oberammergau.
Cons: Not as quaint as expected, not up to par. Not well cared for, felt like intruding on family that lived there. Not very hospitable.

Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was wonderful
Cons: Everything was wonderful
Pros: Perfect location in the city center. Parking available
Cons: The room was not in the main building. No notification about this and no elevator to the first floor. 30 meters from the main building and another 30 to the main entrance because the rear entrance was usually closed at 7 oclock in the morning. Breakfast could be better. Occasionally the products were exhausted without replacement.
Pros: The hotel looked like from a fairytale
Cons: to expensive for the quality , the eating looks like a collectivity or school eating !
Pros: I've been a guest for many years now and I'm very happy to say that their style is Impeccable throughout the years! All the staff is professional, courteous and always putting a small extra effort to make you feel a very welcome guest.
Pros: The Late Post is absolutely excellent for family and couples. Good food, Nice clean rooms with true Bavarian flavour. You will not be disappointed.
Cons: Coffee more available in lobby to take to room or small coffee pot in room
Cons: Arrival at 11pm and tired - it seemed that I was a bother when I arrived- key was left but no instructions - room hard to find without a lady from a balcony providing me directions in the middle of the night/ I paid over 180 euros for a room for 4- the couch turn into a bed was extremely uncomfortable and it seemed that the furniture was from the 70s- do not recommend-
Pros: Spacious room. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Refurbishment is required. Expensive for what it offers.
Pros: Comfortable spacious rooms right in the centre of the beautiful Bavarian town of Oberammergau.

Pros: Big room. Nice sauna and pool. Big garden. Good food. A very nice place.
Cons: The Internet didn't work.
Pros: A fantastic breakfast and amenities
Cons: The racism in talking to my family. Superiority of the staff as always saying they are German especially one lady she said she is the woner of the hotel. She did not introduce her self to us. She was very unprofessional to my family. Keep giving orders and comments to my family rather than posting signs about the hotel rules and regulations or talking in respected way. I will report this offecially through the higher tourism authority in Germany. Alot of nudity seen in the outside park where ladies exposed to the sun topless or they get shower after swimming pool use fully naked in front of my children. I will not recommend this hotel for any one.
Pros: The locations was amazing and the staff brilliant.
Cons: The weather was very warm but there was no air conditioning. It was very difficult to sleep.
Pros: Swimming pool, beautiful rooms plenty of space, breakfast was great! Lots of amenities, peaceful pool, billiards, bowling. Great bathrooms and beautiful surroundings of the hotel, patios etc
Cons: A funny incident, we had bought a good wine with plan to open and enjoy it in our room. We asked for a cork opener but we were said “we don’t borrow cork openers because we sell wine. Of course they sell wine but even the best Hilton of the world have in the room wine openers for your convenience. Let alone borrow them. Bad policy.
