It is what it is. For the price of the other hotels & closeness to music venues & bars, it is walking distance to anywhere downtown. Staff were extremely friendly.

Very basic. The beds were not comfortable.
Good location, walkable to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good (waffles, cereal, oatmeal, toast, muffins). The main issue was the bathtub was sunken in and started to crack. I had to avoid stepping in that area because I was afraid my foot would do through the tub floor so showering was a bit challenging.
Motel room had a serious cockroach problem.
Pros (+) Staff was friendly, room was comfortable for a motel
Cons (-) The location is not great for any walking nearby the freeway and large intersections.
Pros (+) Check in was a nightmare because of the general manager, Rasik Naik. He was rude and combative. He may have been angered that the personal conversation about his life in England, a monologue really, was interrupted by me after being ignored for 10 minutes. His communication skills would be much better suited for a position where he had no contact with people, especially women. He interrupted, rais...
Cons (-) The room was clean but old and shabby.

Pros (+) We don’t spend much time at the hotel, so it was great for the value
Cons (-) Outside looks uninviting, but inside the rooms are really nice.
Pros (+) I only stayed for one night, so I can't really speak to the customer service or housekeeping between nights, but my stay was pleasant for the price. The room was clean, almost seemed like it was remodeled somewhat recently. The mattress was okay, pillows were great, good shower/water pressure. For the price compared to other hotels in the area, this was a great value.
Cons (-) I heard some mice scurrying around in the ceiling in late night and morning while I was getting ready. It didn't really bother me, but just a heads up if you hear some strange noises.
Cons (-) The manager was extremely rude. It seems as though if there any change of plans or we asked for something, it was always a problem for him, literally. Jis response to everything was "then we are going to have a problem". He had no customer service skills at all.
