Location was good.
The room was filty, couldn't tell the last time it was hoovered, in my stay there they came in opened the curtains and left. The bed was so uncomfortable I felt every spring in the mattress, even waking up with spring marks on my skin. There was one toilet / shower per apartment which housed 5 bedrooms, firstly thats not enough for that many people and you can only imagine how filthy it gets after that many people use it. The noise levels were pretty high but it was the weekend.
the bed was broken and the room hadnt been tidied - there was a pair of socks under the bed.
Its one of the cheapest hostels I've had in NZ and great location. There were some cool people staying there.
Moldy and bed bugs. Room was filthy, as was the kitchen.
katrina on reception was great
door locking system constantly broken, tiny kitchens per 30 odd bunks
