Historic hotel with good staff
The location to the Shakespearean theaters, downtown, and shopping .
The room was a bit small by modern standards, but, it is an older, 1920’s hotel.
I loved the location (literally steps to Shakespeare Festival) and the feeling of an old hotel with good amenities. Charming old hotel.
Rooms were a little small, but the was how it was in the old days.
This was my second stay at the Ashland Springs Hotel and it was just perfect. The staff is really lovely and the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant, Larks, next door is delicious and also has a wonderful staff. And sitting by the fire in the lobby drinking tea is such a pleasant way to spend an hour on a winter afternoon! I wouldn't stay at any other spot in Ashland!
Has such potential
The building itself was beautiful and the location was great. Breakfast was decent.
The room itself was small and dingy. Not nearly as nice as I expected for the price tag.
Clean. Nice building
Stayed here 2 of 4 nights. Elevator out both nights and we were on the 8th floor. Many "unique" Ashlandians out in the dark parking lot at night.
Bathroom awkwardly designef
Ashland springs hotel
The old style charm of the hotel fresh local flowers and views of the city. Location can't be beat for Oregon Shakespeare festival breakfast in the morning. Harp and flute music in the lobby
Nothing everything was good
Small room at historic hotel
Clean room, respectful to time period of the hotel. Tiny room but quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tallest building in Ashland at 9 stories. Seriously within strolling distance of anything downtown
Small room. AC didn't want to kick in, propped up window the full 6 inches that was allowed.
Super comfy bed. Cozy and quiet. Lavendar sache for bathtub. Location
Comfort And historic style
I liked the lobby with it's high ceiling fans, fireplace and spaciousness. I loved our room. The color scheme and furniture were beautiful. The vintage style bathroom was delightful. There were art deco touches with an excellent seating area. Quiet, lush surrounding. No children,we're running up and down the hallways which was a great relief.
I would prefer a darker ambiance in the dining room. I prefer a warmer color scheme with tables of dark wood and a sense of greater separation and privacy from other diners. I prefer a lush, velvety fabric perhaps with deco touches. It felt a bit coffee house style in a summery atmosphere which is nice but does not feel elegant to me. The bar counter was delightful.
Our room was clean and comfortable! Hotel has a Victorian charm and sits in middle of downtown! People were very nice and friendly and we loved the location, walking distance to Starbucks and many great shops and parks! Loved it!
