Cannigione is a good base to start or end your holiday. Some beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance, and there are plenty of souvenir shops selling local items for all kinds of uses.
The hotel is big, potentially housing whole groups and busloads of tourists. You might notice during breakfast.

Beautiful pool, good buffet, beautiful grounds, great for children and families
Shame to have to pay extra for train to the private beach and again for umbrellas! And towels! And swim caps!

1. The receptionists English wasn’t good enough for 4 star hotel catering for overseas guests 2. Wifi only available over two square mètre range in main reception where guests were overcrowding to use it 3. Food and beverages didn’t exceed hospital quality 4. Restaurant area looked like workers self service canteen 5. Seemed that only German speaking guests booked through organised tour companies were looked after and other guests neglected- entertainment organized was so loud it wasn’t possible to sleep 6. Pool not sufficient size for number of guests 7.Very unauthentic Italian experience- felt like being in a factory- although it is very well located and the surrounding vicinity had much more to offer in terms of food and beverages - was not up to the standard of a four star hotel
