Wonderful beach area. Had free bikes you could use. Indoor and outdoor pool. Sauna, steam rooms, massage area, wonderful private balconies. would definitely return.
Cons: If I had to pick a complaint it would be the glass doors on the bathroom. If used in the night it would let light shine on whole room.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect locatiin. Amazing stay. Staff was very attentive. They went out of their way to assist my mother and even drove to a local market to purchase soy milk for my breakfast. I'm in the travel industry and highly recommend this hotel
7,1 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great central location for the Festival and tourist sites in a (quiet during the day) pedestrian side street.
Cons: Having stayed in Salzburg several times before it is a mistake to assume that pedestrian zones are quiet. Especially in the morning at a very early hour there is an incredible racket of manual handling of rubbish collection and deliveries which makes it next to impossible to leave the windows open. As the rooms have no air conditioning you have to choose between a rather sticky hot night or being awoken at 5.30am by the noise outside. Better to find a hotel with enough ventilation or aircon to be able to close the windows!!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ulrike the reception/front desk went way beyond her duties helping us with parking, luggage etc. Loved the location! Welcome/check-in was first-class!Thank you again
Cons: The interior junior suite on the 1st floor was way too dark, and felt cloustrofobic despite the large room size.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful ambiance in the room.
Cons: I would have appreciated knowing that there is no entrance with a vehicle, as this is a pedestrian only cobbled street. Wifi was not great either
7,5 Good
Cons: Could have done with air conditioning
9,2 Excellent
Pros: super good restaurant
Cons: wall papers
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect.
Cons: A little noisy in the morning when shops are beginning to open.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: we loved the location, ideal for walking to all the "must see" spots, and close to good restaurants and cafes. the breakfast was good, dinner even better! the welcome was warm and friendly, with good advise.
Cons: the lack of English TV entertainment channels (i was hoping for SKY SPORTS to catch the golf), lots of channels, mostly German. We had the same issue at Berlin and Munich so maybe a regional thing, though the Park Hyatt in Hamburg had SKY.
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff were amazing. The location is perfect.
Cons: No AC. It was very hot. Could not sleep.

Cons: It could be better to have coffee in the room
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amenities were fine in general. Beautiful hotel and nearby grounds. Most of the staff speaks English (but not all) View was a plus. Breakfast was awesome.
Cons: We were aware of the lack of A/C, but we thought the weather would be more tempered. Unfortunately the days were very hot so the room was at times unbearably warm, even with fans. About the perceived “politeness”, they are at times a little bit “dry” when you make requests or questions, so I avoided interacting too much.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Full of joy.
Cons: -

Pros: Absolutely lovely boutique hotel with gorgeous garden, outstanding breakfast, comfortable spacious well-appointed room & bathroom. Staff took time to welcome us and orient us to the city. Breakfast included honey from their own beehives! Easy walking distance to sights and on-site parking available.

Pros: Really beautiful hotel with the nicest mini spa, with a fantastic view over the city from the roof terrace. Breakfast and bar snack were delicious. We were travelling with our baby and he had a lovely big cot and a little teddy bear waiting for him which was very sweet.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The mini room was lovely as was the hotel and staff. We would have preferred a larger bed because I run hot and my husband runs cool. The room was perfect besides the bed size but we knew that coming in! Breakfast was fine with lots of choices.
Cons: Just the bed size.
Hotel Friesacher - Anif - Building
8
9,1 Excellent (1 042 reviews)
R2 917+
Overview Reviews
Visitors to Anif will find that the Hotel Friesacher is a fantastic accommodation choice. There's plenty to do nearby, with Zoo Salzburg, and Kletterpark Waldbad Anif all just a both distance away. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. When it comes to Anif hotels, the Hotel Friesacher is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful team, nothing too much trouble, very helpful. Particular mention the girl with dark hair on reception was lovely and very helpful. The dark haired lady who made omelettes at breakfast was so very nice and really started the day off wonderfully...along with fabulous omelettes ! Excellent breakfast, proper juice, coffee etc.
Cons: Only one thing...being asked if I would like to pay my bill in my home currency. This is a con as it always costs more and you should always pay in the Country’s currency that you are in. Please stop this,it may catch people out and it doesn’t become such a wonderful hotel as yours. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable, with a great restaurant. Bus to Salzburg right outside the door, only 15 minutes away.
Cons: No laundry facilities, no tea and coffee facilities in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent.. more than what I expected especially the underground parking which takes you directly to the room. Only 15 min from salzburg center
Cons: None
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Just as expected. Pool was a saviour in the terrific heat during our stay, but unfortunately no air con in rooms. Most staff pleasant and helpful - one girl on reception not so much. Was given one of the smallest double rooms on the 1st floor of the main building, which was actually quite large enough and well-fitted, big tv, bath in bathroom, big balcony overlooking Untersberg. Breakfast buffet very good with everything you could wish for including cooked-to-order eggs.. Underground garage a boon and easy to use. Spa area well appointed with free herbal teas. towels, showers, sauna etc. Pool temperature perfect.
Cons: For price, I think they could let you have the odd coffee free from the self-service machines in the bar. We were roundly told off for preparing to help ourselves... "Only for conference guests!". Not everyone wants to eat in the post restaurant every evening, but the Einkehr beer garden a disappointment as the food was not particularly traditional and was overpriced.. Menu very limited. Over 10 euros for four tiny cups of not very interesting and very similar dips with just a few slices of bread to put them on was poor. Went out to Sankt Leonard most nights to eat.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and relaxing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Although a bit late, they provided me the breakfast. Excellent choice of different continental food. What impressed me was, they took the honey womb directly from bees and let it collect the honey in a dish so if you would like, you could also take the wax with the honey. It reminded me on my childhood:). All in all, one of the nicest hotels I’ve visited (high value for money) and I travel a lot.
Cons: No remarks.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place. The hotel itself was wonderful felt more like 5* than 4*. Rooms, decor, comfort, attention to detail all 10/10. Location excellent. Just a short walk (5 mins) you are in the parks around Salzburg. We had booked as an overnight stop for journey back to UK but we plan to go back and we absolutely want to be staying at this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast, gluten-free bread and organic sheep yoghurt available!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent family hotel. Breakfast was perfect. All food have farmers food quality. Anif is beautifull village. Herbert von Karajan grave are there. 20 min by bus to Salzburg downtown.
Cons: Weather......

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect just outside the city of Salzburg in the tranquillity of the mountains. The room was spacious enough with a small balcony overlooking the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Because of the warm wheater we were able to have breakfast and diner outside on the garden terrace.
Cons: Diner was very good but the choice of affordable dishes was limited
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location on a hill just a short ride from the city center. Beautiful traditional Austrian style hotel with high comfort and levels of quality in everything from service to food to rooms. Stayed in a large, newly decorated 2-bedroom suite with plenty of space for a family of five.
Cons: Food priced at premium levels, but not unreasonable given excellent quality. During very warm weather, the lack of airconditioning is a drawback, but the freshness of the location and availability of a nice outdoor pool are great pluses.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nature is perfect. Pool is OK.
Cons: People at the reception were so rude. They are kind only to Germans/natives or rich people. What about a simple engineer with a Turkish family? They should be well educated for kindness and should behave equal to everyone.
7,1 Good
Pros: A hotel in beuautiful surroundings, super close to Salzburg, with a great spa/sauna area. It feels overpriced for what you get though, both restaurant and hotel and the room didn’t meet our expectations (totally different then showed on the pictures)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location with a beautiful view of Salzburg. The restaurant was of a very high standard and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. The swimming pool was of good size and very clean. We recieved an upgrade for our room, and it was by far one of the nicest I have stayed in. It was very clean and spacious.
Cons: There didn't seem to be any a/c, so the room was very hot throughout the day and evening. No facilities to make tea and coffee in your room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with great view
Cons: Little overrsted,?in choroszmas seanon no Christmas deci
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Overall room comfort. Quality of furniture Swimming pool Location
Cons: A bit too warm (no air conditioning)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was covered with snow and it was a magnificent experience. It has beautiful rooms, full of character, neat and clean. Spa was the final touch after a full day outsode in the snowy weather.
Cons: The location seemed to be quite far from Salzburg city, but you get used to it. But once you wake up in the morning, you realize that is very beautiful outside and the ladscape is amazing. The taxi is around €18, from city to hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's location overlooking Salzburg is exceptionally beautiful and is enhanced by the hotel's classic "Alpine style". The kitchen serves really good food prepared from fresh ingredients.
Cons: While we stayed there, the hotel had a bigger party, which forced the kitchen because many of the guests had chosen to eat in the restaurant the same evening. It did mean a little waiting time, but the kitchen did not compromise on the quality of the courts.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: view was very nice, the breakfast good to very good. the room was very nice. parking place, the area very beautiful.
Cons: a little bit to cold! A little bit far from the city, but isn't a problem if you have a car!
Overview Reviews
Brimming with authentic Austrian charm, Hotel Goldener Hirsch, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Salzburg, is a cherished symbol of exceptional hospitality and celebrated tradition. Dating back to 1407, it embodies an enduring symbiosis between original country house and luxury boutique hotel, woven into the very fabric of Salzburg life. Located just steps away from Mozart’s birthplace, in the heart of the city’s evocative old town, Hotel Goldener Hirsch inhabits Salzburg’s fairy tale setting with natural grace. Defined by its hunting lodge heritage, trophies and mounted antlers populate the walls, whilst the crest of a leaping deer is a reoccurring presence. Smartly-dressed associates, wearing uniforms reminiscent of national Tracht, welcome guests with a rare warmth that resonates across generations.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly staff and service throughout our stay. The location is fantastic with very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were very helpful and accommodated all our requests
Cons: The High cost of breakfast which although providing an excellent choice and first rate service at €130 for 4 adults and an 18 month baby was unsustainable for a 6 day stay! Fortunately there is a huge choice of local facilities offering far better value to commence your day.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Best hotel we stayed in, roomy bathroom, location was truly excellent, staff knew your name, was always friendly and extra helpful
Cons: Beds were a little soft, restaurant food was not great for us
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location close to everything you could possibly want to see or do in Salzburg. Very polite and attentive staff - we were even given a tour of this historic hotel and finished with a cocktail. Some might not like the country style décor, but it represented the authentic traditional Austrian style which we enjoyed, and it added to our whole experience. The restaurant was excellent (but expensive!)
Cons: It was a strange set up in the hallways, and even in our room, for example the placement of furniture. However this was due to the historic and evolving nature of the hotel. and did not really create any problems.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a completely charming and absolutely delightful hotel. The best thing is it is traditionally Austrian and hasn't become a sleek modern hotel. However the conveniences are very modern and very lovely. Staff exceptional and the food was delicious.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service was excellent and location superb
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself and its efficient staff. Very helpful indeed

Cons: Better pillow cases. They use a lot of starch
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located. High quality. Excellent food. Attentive staff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Thomas Klingsbichl was great - we checked in at 1pm and our rooms were not available as yet. We are SPG members, so he upgraded our rooms straight away. We also then decided to stay in the hotel for dinner, which was great.
7,3 Good
Pros: Restaurant was good but too pricy. For the rest, excellent stay!
7,7 Good
Pros: Mixture between traditional austrian style and luxury
Cons: Nothing to complain
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very professional and helpful staff.I also liked the rustique room not lacking modern amenities.I would advise more English TV programs.
7,7 Good
Pros: Outstanding hotel - staff were efficient and friendly as well as thoughtful. Room was full of character and exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere of the 600 year old hotel was fascinating. We ate room service food which was excellent - we were able to pick locally popular dishes as well as the usual chioces on Hotel Room Service menus.
Cons: Parking was not convenient by the hotel, but the hotel took care of it all with free valet parking, so this was not a major issue.
6,0 Good
Pros: The location is excellent, very central.
Cons: The hotel is located on commercial street of the city, an area with restricted car access. Consequently, I lost at least 30 minutes trying to identify the address where I could not reach by car. Finally I called the hotel and they indicate me a different address for car navigation and so I got behind the hotel. Then I realized that the hotel has no parking and I was sent to a public parking (relatively close to ~ 200 meters). A very unpleasant experience, amplified by the fact that rain in that day and walk with luggage from the public parking to the hotel it was not the favorite part of a holliday day.
7,6 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel. We enjoyed staying in the 'old' part of Salzburg.
Cons:
6,4 Good
Pros: Great location - easy to walk to everything.
Cons:
6,4 Good
Pros: Wonderful staff and perfect location
Cons: The carpet, TV stand, small sofa and small table and chairs felt a bit cheap and out of place with the rest of the hotel
8,0 Excellent
Pros: charming small hotel in centre of town
Cons: very noisy at night
8,0 Excellent
Pros: One of the world's best hotels!
Cons:

Pros: The staff were always happy to answer our questions: where could we get the best local gelato(which was GREAT) to where could we buy Birkenstock shoes at a good price, (which we did) they greeted us with smiles, always happy to get us ice. (We Americans love our ice)
Cons: No air conditioning and there was a heat wave 4 days in the 90’s (F). They did put fans in our rooms

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Location is perfect and within easy walking distance to historic old city of Salzburg, Mirabell Gardens, churches, tours, and restaurants and train and bus stations. Facilities had strong free WiFi and were immaculately clean. Breakfast was well worth it. Complimentary storage of luggage on your last day beyond checkout time if you need it.
Cons: Price was a little high.

Pros: Tha staff was kind The location
Cons: No thing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good and there was a lot of choices, including an omelet/eggs to order station. The hotel was only a few minutes walking distance of Mirabell Palace and gardens, and major historic attractions and shopping. While located within a busy area, the rooms were very quiet with plenty of storage space.
Cons: Our only complaint, though a minor one, is that the breakfast set-up could've been designed better. Unfortunately, they put the hot food entrees, (pre-cooked eggs, sausages, bacon, etc...) alongside the line to order at the eggs station. So, many were standing in line thinking that it was the line for the hot breakfast items, not realizing until they got up there that people were in line for made to order eggs only.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: They upgraded us upon arrival and our room was huge and clean and very comfortable
Cons: The coffee was instant but at least there was coffee
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I shared a room with my sister and was given two separate rooms, this was an amazing advantage as we each hot our own space after we came back from a day of sightseeing

Pros: It is not far from train station in Salzburg. The restaurant for breakfast / dinner has nice city view. The room should have been renovated and is beautifully decorated.
Cons: Some brown red marble in lobby seem a bit old fashioned, not matching the rest hotel design.

Cons: I liked everything, a very nice hotel

Pros: The room was very nice but we paid good money for it. Very good breakfast. 10 minutes walking distance to city sight seeing. 15 minutes from train station. And car rentals.

Cons: Nothing bad
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is new and clean with a cozy and luxery spa atmosphere and cool inferior. Small but nice indoor and outdoor pool including sauna with free bathrobes (deposit) and towels. Very nice and safe garden with a small playground. Breakfast buffet had a very good selections of quality products. Although the hotel is placed by a countryside road with lots of traffic especially during rushhour to and from Salzburg, the place felt quiet and calm with a beautiful view to the mountains. Great location very close to the highway and only about 15 minutes drive to Salzburg surrounded by fields and small villages. The staff was very kind, welcoming and always ready to help.
Cons: During our stay, the weather was extraordinary hot. Without air conditioning in the room and only a floor fan, it was hard to sleep at night. However, I assume that it won't be an issue during more normal summer weather. The gym is small and placed in the basement without windows.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location and stunning hotel We love the family run feel and the fact that the staff all seem to love working there. Great spot for days out by the lakes, and days exploring the city. Don't forget to make time for daya relaxing by the pool.

Pros: I like the style of the hotel. Luxury and elegant. Everything meets my expectations except the price.
Cons: The price was bit high. I think because it was Summer art festival,
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The high standards, in terms of quality, politeness and efficiency, have been kept and to the benefits of the guests. The on-going reconstruction works did not bother us, really. The grill section, securing good quality of foods and drinks, appear to be understaffed evidenced by guests waiting for service at the gate. The staff working at the reception desk were smiling and ready to help answering any requests, including the concierge and porters.

Pros: This hotel was amazing! We felt like royalty. The staff was exceptional. It is a quick walk to all the local sites! The refreshments left in our room were a surprise bonus. We loved it and would definitely stay again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel. Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Concierge and team very knowledgeable, thank you. Asked for a thinner quilt which was supplied no problem.
Cons: Evening specials in the restaurant would have been better printed as a flier rather than being told by the waiter. A pair of wooden tongs for retrieving the toast out of the toaster would help.

Pros: Hotel is conveniently located for festival goers. Facility is old and room small.

Pros: Good
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The lack of light in my room (114), the bad cleaning of the room, the fact that the door to the terrace was left open from 10.am-6.pm (until my return to the room) The price for breakfast being 25€ and having no pastries, no warm option (solely on demand)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best location and friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely recommend.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and charming hotel with wonderful character
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: My first trip to Salzburg was about 10 years ago, and I also stayed here at Blaue Gans. On this most recent trip, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly and very helpful in answering our questions and making sure that we got all or the information we needed to find our way around and to also ensure we were comfortable during our stay. I really like the boutique feel of the hotel and that the rooms are designed in a way that's modern, but comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the historical old town, especially around the Getreidegasse (where it's located) and visiting Mozart's birth house. If you stay in this part of the city, take note that it's a very busy tourist area. However, I also find this to be something which does not take away from the charm of the area - not like other cities. Getting back to the safe, quiet haven of the Blaue Gans was perfect.
Cons: There isn't much that I could fault with the hotel at all. The only thing that all 3 of us had issues with, was the connectivity of the internet. It kept dropping off. Even thought I was on holiday with my family, there's always work to be done and I would it a little difficult to get things done. They might consider looking into improving wifi connectivity throughout the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel in a very central location in Salzburg. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed and they made everything easier. They also seemed to recognize our family every time we walked through the lobby. It was a great experience. We had two rooms. Both were amazing and cool in different ways. They were both spacious with interesting design. The beds were particularly comfortable, and we appreciated the good air conditioning during what turned out to be a historic heat wave. Also, given the central location on a busy tourist street, the hotel has done a great job of soundproofing the windows to make for a quiet room.
Cons: The location is very central, on the main business/tourist street in the old town. That makes it a matter of preference. We tend to want to stay slightly away from all the tourists, and this is right in the heart of things. On the other hand, it couldn't have been more convenient for getting out in the evening and seeing sights. Despite how busy the street can be during the days, the soundproof double windows made it feel like a refuge from the crowds all the same. Our only other slight criticism was the service at breakfast could have been a bit more attentive. We ate breakfast twice, and both days it required some work to get the attention of the severs. Nothing major, and we might have just hit it on a bad day.

4,2 Okay
Pros: Views (when the clouds were up) are of the alps and breathtaking. Lovely pool Balcony
Cons: Noisy near airport (which did close at night) but we could hear freeway all night. Location was in a cluster housed area. No air conditioning and it was 35 degrees and humid, hence our doors open all night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very well place close to motor way and airport!
5,4 Okay
Pros: Proximity to the discount retail store and the bus stop
Cons: No porter service to move luggage ( was told that’s how family run hotels are- should have been specified in description while booking) no electric kettle in the room to make tea or coffee ( once again was told the same story as above). What surprises me was the mini bar prices were same as all the hotel chains I stayed in. Also I moved 3 rooms in 3 nights because apparently the room which was given to us for first night (supposed to be modern) was more like a cramped box. For 2nd night I was moved to a different room ( bigger and nicer with massive balcony) and was told that would have to vacate as someone has specifically asked for this room on our 3rd night stay—-well they could have adjusted the other guest but no we had to again switch rooms. And well this other guest never showed up. Worst was when we checked out and asked to leave our luggage near reception for an hour before our taxi arrives, I felt they agreed reluctantly and were not too happy about it. Other than this experience everything else was great, the hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. They have free bicycle which can be used to go to nearby places.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was marvelous, we were keen of accomodation
Cons: nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff. Allowed early check in
7,9 Good
Pros: The attractive, good quality furnishing of the room. Excellent location for the airport. Fantastic breakfast.
Cons: There was a washbasin in the toilet but no soap. The receptionist on duty when we checked in was extremely officious and almost hostile. Of course forms have to be filled in but I resent being spoken to in a certain tone and treated as untrustworthy because I have a British passport and an Austrian address. I had just collected my 82-year old mother from the airport and she felt most uncomfortable at being ignored at check in. I also overheard the receptionist being abrupt with other English speaking guests. Maybe she is xenophobic. We simply did not feel welcome or comfortable. Otherwise everything was ok as were the other staff.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Views Walking distance to airport
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful facility and very very friendly owners...modern and new facility...very nice! Met the origianal owner--Oma--who was very warm and gracious. No wonder the place has been in operation for years--and the name is very appropriate: Kingdom of Heaven---Himmelreich!!
Cons: More SNOW!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family owned hotel. Very handy for the airport only 10 minutes walk to the terminal without having to cross the main road. Even closer to the Designer Outlet Centre ( The Bodega is good for a meal anytime of day). Quiet location with a sunny garden and outdoor terrace for breakfast. Check out the Owner’s photo books of all their cycling trips in and around Austria. As a result of their love of cycling you will find a number of bikes in the garage which are free to use. Comfortable beds with very good water pressure for the shower. Spacious underground carpark with 2.1m clearance. Regular bus service connecting the airport and central Salzburg.
Cons: A kettle in the room would be nice

Pros: Clean well proportioned room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast 9/10. Good position for downtown historical center

Pros: Staff, cleanliness of hotel & room, parking, and close access to public transportation and food markets.
Cons: Shampoo and liquid soap dispensers. They should use wall mounted types.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It’s near bus terminal of FlixBus. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel I arrived early but I could check in.
Cons: I asked breakfast box instead of breakfast but it cost extra. As far as I know, it’s unusual because I paid for the fee including breakfast. Nevertheless they asked me to pay extra fee. It took long time to check in because I guess the staff was fresh and senior staff taught her very slowly
7,1 Good
Pros: The lobby is extravagant, the public parking lot is located one block away. The breakfast was good, but it lacked any variety. (the same every day)
Cons: We were in hotels of the same franchise before, and were generally satisfied, but the room in this particular hotel was very small, it was very hard for 2 person to move in the room.

Pros: Perfect position for a quiet walk into the historic centre. Rooms a good size and modern bathroom: ace shower! Beautiful breakfast room with view of the mountains. Loved the library
Cons: I prefer a down pillow but that’s a very small issue!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff/owner. Great breakfast. Good location with parking.
6,7 Good
Pros: It was indeed clean. The location was good; walking distance to the centre.
Cons: We found out that the room that was booked for us was literally in the basement; it was quite claustrophobic. There was a window but the ceiling was really low and this was not what we saw in the pictures. The hotel could have sent us a message about the type of the room. The attitude of the receptionist was not nice as well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Perfect view. Tasty breakfast. Everything was very good.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was wonderful. Gabrielle is very inviting and accommodating. Big thanks to her for all her recommendation. Breathtaking view from the balcony and the garden. The hotel is spotless. Comfortable beds. Nice people. And the labrador Kira is so nice. My son had a good time talking to her :)
Cons: For the US Traveller the size of the bathroom might be a bit surprising. It is small. We have not have any problem using the shower, but I can imagine that people with large belt size might find it a bit challenging. :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great views esp from breakfast area. Good walk up and down I to town. Staff very welcoming
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location near the town center. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Nice garden.
Cons: Place was not easy to find. Squeaky floor and bed, making us uncomfortable to move around in the evening. The bath"room" was newly refurbished but was more like a closet with glass doors than a room. Even though the place is very high in the landscape you have no scenery due to high trees on the lot (1st floor).
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Bathroom is very small. Shower entrance has aprox.40 cm
9,2 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for a quit place, then this is your best choice. Absolute quietness and the scenery from the balcony is wonderfull. A bit far from from the centre and you have to climb the road to reach the hotel unless you have a car. Staff are welcoming and helpfull. Toilet is some how small. The hotel is like a new and very clean. Bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Cons: For me the toilet and the shower area is small. Breakfast is acceptable but the service was good. If you have no car, then you have to walk up and down the slope.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The property is nice but too far ( 1 mile plus , up the hill )from the far end of old town
Cons: The distance (up the hill 1 mile plus from the old town
