Pros: Excellent location, nice staff, great breakfast buffet, free coffee/tea. Clean comfortable rooms. Good bathroom and nice terrace.
Cons: Hooks on the walls in the bathroom to hang towels would be great. Drawers under the sink in the bathroom need maintenance. We received a card to put in the car (allowance to park in front of the hotel), but had to pay for it.

Cons: All was fine

9,0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast and the dinner in the evening were very good the location near by the beach was wonderfull. The staffwas very busy and very good
Cons: But the architecture of the hotel ist not very nice
7,0 Good
Pros: the location was perfect and there was enough parking space. I really like the sauna! It was really clean enough choice there. The rooms where nice and the beds where good.
Cons: It was a bit old fashioned, in specific the breakfast. It was big, but there wasn't much choice. And I think this is exactly the same as 10 years ago. I don't mis the ' superfoods' but a bit more choice in for example cheese or cereals would be better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely beach and great wee shops.
Cons: Sauning naked should not be compulsory.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and despite the size of the hotel with seemingly endless main corridors connecting the different wings the place was extremely easy to navigate thanks to helpful signs placed at all corners. From the back exit we could get to the beach in about a single minute. The breakfast was really good: While incredible masses of just about everything were served nothing tasted 'cheap'. (Obviously nothing extravagant as well, but in relation to the price it was really excellent.) On a rainy Saturday evening having an Irish pub on the basement was awesome. Especially the beer from the local brewery that they had on tap (in addition to Irish standard stuff) was really great and I didn't feel like drinking Guinness or Murphy's at all... Can get that stuff everywhere after all. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try out all the other facilities during my short stay, but the pool looked very nice from the outside.
Blooming - Bergen - Bedroom
8,5 Excellent (4 971 reviews)
R1 471+
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel its self was absolutely fantastic. Could not fault the staff or the facilities at all. My room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the forest.
Cons: The choice of food on the evening menu was very limited. I ate the first night and the food was very nice but it left me thinking i'd like other options and resulted in me ordering take away food in the remaining two nights.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room is hot and breakfast was excellent
Cons: It s 2 km away from bergen plein, if you use publıc transport you have to walk there. I used sıngle room it was a little bit dusty, shampoo and soap nearly empty.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Not much. The location was fabulous. It stops there though
Cons: The service was awful. I travel a lot and would say this trip is one of my all time WORST hotel experiences.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything, a lot of space downstairs in hotel, exellent breakfast!! Thw room had everything I neede, great shower!
Cons: The room was small, a it too small
4,6 Okay
Pros: The breakfast buffet and the friendly staff was fine. Enough parking space and the neighbourhood near the beach, for a fine walk are great.
Cons: The room is poor, you do not have the opportunity to have a coffee of tea in the room. Not even any extra's. The maintenance started on 7:30 AM, you don't want to wake-up this early by drilling noices.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Breakfast was good.
Cons: No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Buffet Coffee machines Fireplace and seating areas
Cons: No trash can in room other than bathroom Hanging storage severely limited. We could not easily follow the maps for the trails.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast at Blooming was very good. Lots of choice and all good quality. The beds were comfortable and our room was spacious with a lovely balcony (due to it being winter not used though).
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location, nice atmosphere in common spaces, tasty food
Cons: Staff at reception counter (esp female) were quite arrogant, busy talking between themselves. Towels had big black stains and room was very dusty (I lost a shoe under the bed and noticed thick layer of dust). No fridge in the room.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing to remark
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very good Location with excellent Service. Rooms are top. Breakfast was super. Restaurant also.
6,7 Good
Pros: The hotel was nicely located across the street from the beach and cornering the central walking area. We bought parking directly from the reception (more convenient than from the machines on the street). The room was very basic but clean and the breakfast was decent; the restaurant looks really good.
Cons: We specifically asked for a room with a nice view during the booking process, but we received one of the few rooms facing a wall (dark, shady, a bit worn out, the door had been forced so it didn't close properly, etc.)... We wanted to change it, but there was no other available option except the room next door (which was identical). The property should at least offer this room as an "economy" option for a cheaper price, otherwise it's not fair to charge such a high amount of money for such an undesirable room. Last thing, there were no warm options at breakfast, they were only offering cold food.
6,3 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Rather old and very uncomfortable hotel with lots of stairs, fair sound isolation and view on other building backyards.

4,6 Okay
Cons: The room was so small it shouldn’t be used. The shower had to be accessed round the toilet. There was one towel. For 30 euros a night it may have been acceptable
6,3 Good
Pros: Tasty breakfast, a nice staff
Cons: Extremely small room without a table for work. It was very difficult to use a very small bathroom because a toilet was too close to the bathroom
7,5 Good
Pros: Gorgeous teeny tiny single room - very cute, excellent Wi-Fi, fantastic location. Very hot weather so the electric fan was much appreciated.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location is perfect in the centre of Bergen. The breakfast had a good variety of products. There were good facilities to park your bike.
Cons: Arriving tired at the hotel, longing for a good night sleep, experiencing that the mattresses are in need of replacement, and that the hotel provides earplugs on forehand for very good reason. The rooms in the main building are very noisy, there is literally no privacy between the rooms. Having to put in earplugs as to not overhear a stranger's phone conversation in the next room is ackward. Being woken up at six o'clock because another guest on another floor decides to get out of bed is undesirable. -The bathroom is outdated, the lock on the door questionable, and the number of electricity sockets set at a bare minimum. Breakfast does not start until 8 o'clock. Altogether, leaving the hotel after a few nights stay felt like a relief.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, quaint and comfy rooms and very friendly and accommodating staff
Cons: Bathroom in my room was a quite cramped

Pros: Breakfast was included and of excellent quality, food overall was good. Location was very good for exploring town. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: The fact that parking was chargeable and that tea and coffee away from Breakfast were also only available at extra cost. Budget rooms have very thin walls.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Although the room was a bit small, the beds were comfortable(not too soft). Nice shower and bathroom. We had a corner room which allowed two views and good ventilation. I enjoyed the view (and the sound) of the Ruine Kerk with beautiful sunsets and illuminated in the evening. Nice that the hotel rents bikes. We tried one evening meal but were not impressed.

4,2 Okay
Pros: Great location. Open for dogs.
Cons: Bad smell in the rooms plus no window in bathroom. Difficult to park the car in the evening. Very old furniture.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location Staff very friendly
Cons: Property very dilapidated and tired. Desperately needs painting and updating
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Great location but this "hotel" would rate either 0 stars or 1 star max.
Cons: Room was small, other than a TV there were no facilities, no kettle, minimal room, a cupboard in which to store your clothes which if they had any sense they would have changed the door opening so it was easier to use. It was grubby, in serious need of painting & almost certainly a deep clean to remove the mould from the bathroom & bedroom. It smelt of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was quite bizarrely set up, with the toilet so close to the bath that it was challenging to sit on it. The fail to mention the only ways up are via steep stairs ( challenging with a suitcase).
5,0 Okay
Pros: Very basic hotel. Good wifi is a plus.
Cons: No iron in room, very basic facilities, no nice views from the rooms. I had a twin room for a solo traveller.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location of hotel.
Cons: The room size, cleanliness, room facilities, staff, too cramped spaces everywhere made the stay below par, especially at that high a price.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location and staff was pleasant
Cons: Things were falling appart, and lot of noise
