Room was comfortable. The rate was an affordable option if doing business somewhere in downtown DC. Short walk to Metro and several dining options in Alexandria. The gym facilities could be improved as pretty much all the aerobic machines were not in working order.

Room and employees were great. Walkable to Metro and food/grocery, I prefer to be closer to Old Town; thus, I did a lot of Ubering for dinner, etc. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast options—just a short menu and coffee to order (expensive). I am used to a standard free, basic breakfast spread at mid-level Marriott properties, but that was not offered here.

The facility and the room was clean. However, there’s no complimentary breakfast, the regular toiletries such as bodywash or body lotion were empty, and I had to request for an iron for my clothes since there was none.

Pros (+) The hotel is centrally located near downtown Alexandria and not too far from the MGM casino. The rooms are a nice size with decent amenities, given the price. I was disturbed by the sound of other guests. The hotel was pretty quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Cons (-) Microwave is needed in the room.
