10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, nice staff and fab breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The house was beautiful brick with ivy and lots of character in a country setting only 10 minutes from Manchester airport, the home-cooked breakfast was excellent (I had scrambled eggs on toast with big juicy mushrooms), the staff was attentive, and the pub nearby was a pleasant place to relax and eat after an evening walk across the river and through the fields.
7,0 Good
Pros: Did not have breakfast. The double bed was a ok not a lot of room too move around the room maybe a smaller chair.
Cons: Sadly when we stayed there was flooding which cut off the power in the early afternoon. Which meant we could not have any hot drinks or a shower plus in the dark as nobody came to our aid until the morning with a small light by which time the power was on the next day in the afternoon.

Pros: Nice to have a lounge, conservatory and place in the garden where you can relax, work and socialise as you wish Great great, great staff, lovely food, stunning garden, plenty of parking, quiet area. Highly recommended place to anyone whether business or leisure.
Cons: Access to the kitchen is restricted and no sign or barrier prevents you from going there. Also, you are not allowed to eat or drink in your room apart from the tea and coffee provided. Although that is perfectly understandable, it can be annoying for someone who likes snacking.

Huge bed with lovely clean bedding. Fan in room with temperature control unit. Tea coffee making facilities. Plentiful supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Lovely soft towels.

Pros: The room was good and bed very comfortable but was an attic room so the roof height could be an issue for some. The full English breakfast was good. Recommendations and sample menus for nearby eating places were useful.

Pros: Nice rooms and very clean
Cons: Service in the restaurant wasn’t the best , very slow
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Couldn’t fault our stay in the slightest, happy, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Went in feeling tired, stressed and burnt out, after one night in the Mere left feeling completely relaxed and unwound.
Cons: Very difficult to fault this place, and we often try to be as critical as possible wherever we stay! The only minor criticism was there was no visible way to turn off the heated rail in the bathroom and this made it very warm in there, but did not disrupt our stay at all. Would highly recommend this place for a nice, relaxing break where staff will ensure you’re looked after.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: We have never stayed here before though we have been in the area many times and we are sorry that we had not known about it previously. We liked the whole ambience of the place, the attitude of the staff, the beautiful well maintained garden that we were able to sit out in with an evening drink. The room we were in was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable plus the Wi-fi worked immediately ,not always the case!! We would highly recommend this hotel because of all these things but also because it was very good value for money. .

7,5 Good
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere. Staff were friendly.
Cons: At times a bit noisey
6,3 Good
Pros: Restaurant was nice, food quality and service.
Cons: Room location (102). Needed to have the blind down as it was on the ground floor outside the kitchens. Had the window open as it was so warm and had to listen to the swearing and blinding as they came and went. Most definitely would not stay on any ground floor rooms looking onto the staff car park and kitchens. Unfortunately there was a wedding party with lots of children running all over the place including the bar area.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location, good parking available
Cons: Room was 'tired' needing updating.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous and any 2 mins from airport without the noise
Cons: Nothing
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The dinner was amazing and the breakfast options were also great. The staff were fantastic start to finish.
Cons: Our room had a very creaky floor and the walls were so thin I got woken up by someone snoring in the room above us. You could here people walk quietly through the halls, let alone if they were speaking to one another.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, fantastic staff. Helped as much as possible with keeping us cool during the heatwave.
Cons: Visited when weather was 35 degrees (celcius) but the rooms aren't air conditioned and so it was unbearably hot. The staff kindly provided a second fan which supplied a bit of relief but no where near enough. I know it very rarely gets that hot in the UK but the windows barely open so the air flow could be improved in the bedrooms at least.
7,5 Good
Pros: Bedroom was really nice, dinner in the restaurant was very very good. We were just staying over the night before an early flight and location for that was excellent.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit dated
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location was good for the airport. The check in was very quick and all the staff pleasant. The food in the Tap & Pantry was nice and the beer very drinkable.
Cons: The floor in our room was very noisy when walked on. It was a warm evening and there is no air conditioning, they did provide a fan - so take this in to account when booking in the summer.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Near airport, but was like a country hotel. Also staff very cheerful and couldn’t do enough for you. Food excellent and dinning room absolutely beautiful, actually the whole area, bar, dinning room and reception was very pleasing to the eye.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and the junior suite was huge with great facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent room and facilities great grounds and staff.
6,8 Good
Pros: The bar and restaurant are lovely
Cons: The rooms very dated carpet dingy and beds very small. We were in a superior room and I dread to think what the others are like
Premier Inn Manchester - Wilmslow - Wilmslow - Building

8,5 Excellent (531 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, Wilmslow is one of the UK's most pleasant places to be. You're nestled between the bustle of Manchester and the dairy fields of Cheshire, and if you want to go further afield, Manchester Airport is just up the road. Spot a deer or two roaming in Tatton Park. Or do some serious plane spotting at Aviation Park. Visit some big name retail stores at Trafford Centre, or keep the little ones amused at Quarry Bank Mill. Once you're done come back and relax at the hotel in our super-comfy kingsize Hypnos beds and enjoy a delicious meal at the Harvester restaurant next door.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perfect if you have an early flight. Only 10-15 minutes taxi ride away.
Cons: We weren’t notified that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment prior to arriving so had to go into Wilmslow for our meal.9
6,3 Good
Pros: No facilities I.e. somewhere to eat as the pub next door had closed down
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good size, good showers, comfy bed.
Cons: No breakfast as the restaurant had closed.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It's a typical Premier Inn, basic but comfortable
Cons: Lack of any food facilities on site is a bit of a pain with having to order something in, but its not the end of the world. Floors can be a bit creaky if theres some heavy footed guests staying in rooms above!
5,5 Okay
Pros: Quite place
Cons: Near the airport
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Shower Comfy room Very clean Nice staff
Cons: Nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed and welcoming staff.
Cons: No air conditioning although a fan was provided.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable
Cons: More tea and sugar but not a problem really
6,3 Good
Pros: Breakfast we a pre packed box with porridge, a grain bar and on orange juice, Not to my tastes.
Cons: No onsite resturant
7,5 Good
Pros: The room was very comfortable and clean. The receptionist was friendly.
Cons: I didn't like the location, no shops and restaurants around, no public transport available. We arrived there in the evening, and had to take a ten-minute walk to the nearby town to have something to eat. I booked the room there because the hotel seemed to be close to Manchester Airport, but you can only get there by taxi/car. An Uber taxi from the airport costs about 17 pounds one way. If you add this to your hotel room price, you don't get a good value for money. I think it would be much easier and cheaper to book a room in Manchester and get there by a local train from the airport.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building, great helpful staff, large rooms
Cons: Nothing
6,8 Good
Pros: Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely
Cons: Dated decor in the family room we stayed in. Curtains covered in dust and cobwebs. Broken pane of glass covered with a square of cardboard in one window. I would expect better standards for £170 for the night (included 3 breakfasts). A shame as the rest of the hotel was lovely
6,8 Good
Pros: Lovely grounds and the place had an air of opulence.
Cons: Amateurish staff, though willing. Room a bit cramped and certainly needed attention to details. Bed side lights not working, knob missing on wardrobe door. Shower control came off in your hand. Wash basin practically blocked. In spite of these failings, the general ambiance made up for a lot.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely main part of the hotel and beautiful gardens. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Very comfortable bed, we had a great night's sleep. Modern and well supplied bathroom.
Cons: The room was dark and dusty around the sky lights and on top of light switches etc.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is lovely Food good.
Cons: everything else.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Large and spacious rooms, with couch to relax and comfortable beds.
Cons: Front desk was very helpful when we asked for a set of towels and to send someone to fix our toilet seat and toilet roll holder. Although we asked each day, and although the front desk sent the request each time (3 times in all), the toilet seat and toilet roll holder were never fixed. Fortunately, we could still use both. Not the end of the world but unexpected at such nice place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely big room quiet looking out over fields, comfortable large bed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were extra comfy and the staff was very professional, the whole experience was great thanks!

Pros: Room and bed were comfortable. We were a family of four. We had a lovely Sunday meal in the pub next door. We used the nearby railway station to go into Manchester and we used the Metrolink in and around Manchester. It was very easy to go to places.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: The food in the bar was over price and microwave food wouldnt recommended it..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place great breakfast
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Usual premier inn standards, couldn't fault the room or the staff.
Cons: Being woken up by workmen at 9.15 in the morning when we had very late check in coming from the airport the night before. For a hotel that covers the airport area and when guests arrive in the early hours of the morning it was a bit early for us to be woken up by drilling and lots of banging of doors.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location, close to the airport and airport parking. The staff were very nice. It was quite quiet too which was good as often hotels near the airport are very noisy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning. It was only a 9 minute drive to the airport perfect, also has a pub attached for food and that was great to.

Pros: Comfy beds and pillows, lovely dinner in the restaurant.
Cons: The Wi-Fi was shocking- very intermittent. Room felt tired and old fashioned, shower was over the bath with a tired shower curtain. Breakfast was only served until 9:30. Overall, a bit old fashioned and didn't think it was good value for money.

Pros: The new bar and dining area is fantastic, great staff and delicious food. We stayed here same time last year to attend an annual carnival , the hotel is undergoing extensive renovation and the difference is amazing. Hopefully we will be there this time next year too and look forward to seeing it closer to the finished thing. Well done Barry great job so far.

Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Trains during the night kept waking us. Bathroom needed tlc. Shabby with small amounts of mold Stair area grubby (due to be decorated I believe.) No hot water from basin tap, although shower was fine. Bedroom door was badly fitting. Couldn’t access internet.

Pros: Great meet and greet, friendly staff excellent food as a female travelling for work on my own felt really safe.
Cons: Nothing had a great experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and tv was a very decent size.. could do with more tea and coffee in room but apart from that excellent!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. This place is going through a transition, with new ownership in the last year, which means this place is still a bargain whilst there are still some renovations to be done. The bar/restaurant is brand new and very smart, the food is absolutely incredible - fat fat beyond expectations as the price is low and the hotel rooms need updating. That said, the hotel rooms are incredibly clean, new TVs/kettles etc just a little old fashioned in comparison to the new parts. The staff and owner were also incredibly friendly.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Parking ok. Food good.
Cons: Shower not working. No breakfast. No details of fire exits.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location near transport interchange and town centre including remarkable old market hall Good shower. Kitchen facilities. Immediate response to a minor problem.
Cons: Noise from trams/trains. Bathroom lacked mat and toilet brush. Car park is shared with next door offices - our car was blocked in by 9am one day - no warning had been given about this.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff member. Extremely handy for Manchester Airport, but without paying high price.

Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
5,8 Okay
Cons: The room was tiny and hot. We used the fan to keep cool but the noise kept us awake. The shower was poor. We tried wine in the bar. 2 glasses of different wine, they were grim. For £6 a glass that’s a lot of money for stuff I wouldn’t sell to the Apache’s.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Public areas were great. All the staff were lovely. Breakfast was good
Cons: Bedrooms were dated and tired. Room was very hot with no air con and windows which didn't open. Food at the function we attended was very poor

Cons: The rooms were on the small size and the shower was dated.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: We arrived here for a one night stay with our 4 year old daughter. On arrival we found a large group of drunk people outside in various states and a similar situation inside. With more than one party taking place the venue was loud and we were kept awake until 4am. Not a pleasant experience.

Cons: No hot water and the hotel ran out of toilet paper!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: There is a bit of noise from the planes but that was expected.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The efficiency and friendliness of the staff considering they are closing for eight weeks for refurbishment
Cons: Cold water was hot!
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff were amazing, but had to do a lot of apologising for things that were not as good as they should be, for example not tv in the room, the room wasn't cleaned, no fish and chips, no chicken and we have run out of jam and marmalade.
Cons: A lot of what you expected to be, didn't hap.pen
5,0 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast. Readily offered vegetarian alternative.
Cons: Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was really outdated and 'tired' and badly in need of refurbishment. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were loose and no handle on the trouser press. There was a plastic roof over the entrance and front of the room which attracted a number of pigeons that were making a loud noise early in the morning.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Big fluffy towels and a comfy bed
Cons: Dirty, dated and mismatched.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Centre of Knutsford
Cons: -
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful! Rooms were comfy and the noise from the pub / street did not impact on our stay at all. Also was a great touch that breakfast was included.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Location. Free parking
Cons: Room was grubby. Cups not clean. In serious need of decoration. Broken toilet seat, broken bedside light.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location - this was the only real plus side to this hotel. The gentlemen who ran the breakfast was also very nice and friendly, a long with another girl who checked us in.
Cons: No pillow covers on the dirty, awfully old and uncomfortable pillows. Bath plug was blocked with the previous guests hair. Hair and crumbs in the bed. The provided cosmetics (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) had already been used and were half empty. The hotel ran out of toilet roll and we had to go and get our own. No hot water in the evening.

Pros: WiFi was down when I arrived, staff called me with repeated updates as it was being fixed as they knew I was anxiously awaiting connection to get some work done. Room service for food was fast.
Cons: I requested a Full size, ended up with just two singles pushed side by side and they kept moving apart from each other.
7,5 Good
Pros: I was very pleased with the helpfulness of the girls on reception. The breakfast was lovely and also staff at breakfast time.
Cons: I felt that the hotel had nowhere to sit down outside if the weather is good. After we arrived I wanted to let my sister in law have a nap in peace and I needed to sit on a wall outside as nowhere else provided. Our room was very comfortable no 106. Bed lovely and no problem having the use of an iron and a couple of extra towels. Unfortunately the flooring below the toilet was very soft and you felt it could cave in and silicone round sink very mouldy. Shower curtain very dated. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

Pros: 5* Breakfast excellent service from Martin the morning waiter
Cons: Nothing
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff on front desk not welcoming at all, very miserable. Couldn’t really be bothered. Put into an attic room yes an attic room in the top of the hotel. No lift!!! For my elderly mother so 2 flights of long winding stairs for her to climb asked to change rooms told sorry hotel is fully booked. your not happy!! With attitude will give you a 50% refund. Thank you very much I said. She was very abrupt with me. Because I wanted to change rooms. Awful customer service. The room was only worth half of what the total cost was. Room poor very small tiny attic window very hot. Needs decorating. Old fashioned sash cord window that was rotten fitted in the roof space. Curtains hanging off. Fire alarm goes off At 3am told by night porter someone messing around with fire alarm. No appology given. Seen people leaving after fire going off as said they weren’t staying in an attic room if there was a potential fire as we would be dead as no way of escape. How it passed fire regulations I don’t know. On booking out left at 7am as didn’t sleep all night after the commotion of the fire alarm. man on reception just said name!! very abrupt didn’t say good morning or anything handed room card back and left, awful place don’t go there if your disabled or have difficulty with stairs. Also you might end up in the roof in the servant quarters!!! Over priced not worth the money. Hotel manager needs to be sacked as place is a joke. For a large hotel chain with so called high standards it’s awful.

Pros: Food steak was tasty.
Cons: Cleanliness was not good.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. It was an awful experience. It’s a dirty shabby hotel run by young, mostly clueless inexperienced staff. One lady stood out who manages the breakfast and was lovely and helpful.
Cons: It’s a tired dated mess. The hallways were dirty. Our bedroom had a torn balance and tatty pillows. Three days on the trot we were left one bath and hand towel. The noise on the Saturday July 27 from a music festival across the road was off the scale loud for 12 hours. A booming nightmare horror story. The hotel made no effort to explain what was going on or how long it lasted. Ie from 1pm to 11pm non stop with sound checks beginning at 11am. Plus the hotel also had two events occurring internally.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Reception and dining staff were not efficient or attentive.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Room was a little too close to the reception. Could hear people arriving during the night as our window was open. Unavoidable unless your room was located on the opposite side of the hotel

Cons: The shower would not function. Unable to use at all.Not good enough it spoiled our stay.Room411

Pros: Good parking, nice room, helpful staff, good location close to motorway, quiet
Cons: Room was too hot for me but just kept our windows open
4,5 Okay
Pros: that it was close to Manchester Airport
Cons: The shower was broke
3,3 Mediocre
Cons: The shower was freezing cold and the water just did not warm up at all. The first last on reception was hostile. The second lady said she would book us a taxi but when we went to get it at 3.45am (to Manchester airport for our flight!) it turned out she hadn’t - the taxi she ordered for the guy she started serving whilst she still should have been serving my partner got his funnily enough. Thank god for Uber. Will be advising friends and family to avoid.
7,0 Good
Pros: Decent gym and pool. Dinner OK
Cons: Bedroom hotter than the face of the sun. It was 23 degrees outside and more like 30 in the room. No aircon and cold water took about 5 mins to reach anywhere near cool

Pros: Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Claire was very welcoming.
Cons: but the standard of the room was poor. Spring mattress, woke up with a bad back, extractor fan did not work in the bathroom and the shower was very slow. Also there were no towels left had to request them. Bathroom was very small.
