Pros (+) Cheap and located across the street from Casino of the Downs and the weekend flea market. Place to lay my head and shower secured by a magnetic card key. Slept pretty well, and it was quiet overall. Very friendly staff willing to help, and I am sure they could have addressed some of the issues had I stayed longer than a night.
Cons (-) Not as good of value as I thought, and I saw where the cost savings came from throughout the experience. Taxes and fees bump up the out-of-pocket expense by around 20%. Room rate should be lower, but perhaps I was paying for proximity to several venues with a motel that performs its job—minimally.
