Pros: size of room
Pros: So warm and cosy. Lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly. Looking forward to visiting again
Cons: The food at breakfast
Pros: The area
Cons: Hotel room Food
Pros: This was a very nice place to stay, close proximity to the castle, shopping and restaurants.
Pros: Hotel was very conveniently located for walking to the castle.
Cons: The first room we were given was above the pool, and had a rhythmic thumping noise from the pump well into the night. Around 10 pm, we transferred to another room which was quieter, but lower in quality. The second room had a castle view in the distance over the HVAC machinery on the ground floor roof. The whole hotel could use improved maintenance, and you would expect a better room from the start in the low season (Nov) when there are few guests.
Pros: setting was nice...could walk to surrounding places, things to do.
Cons: rooms weren't ready when we got there which was fine because we walked around but then when we came back a bus load had come in checking in and we then had quite a wait.
Pros: We arrived very late at night and waited in the lobby for about 10 'inured before someone came to greet us. We received our room key then tried to go to our room. Arrived at our room and the key didn't work. My boyfriend went back downstairs and got a new key came back upstairs and that key didn't work. Went back downstairs then the man in the lobby accompanied him back up to see for himself that the key didn't work. We all went back downstairs and he changed our room an gave us an upgrade for our troubles. Nice enough place, breakfast was good and ample parking
Cons: Smells a little musty but that's just because it's really old
Pros: Fantastic hotel surrounded by plenty of bars restaurants and the fantastic Bunratty castle and park
Pros: Was a superb hotel, excellent service all round. Very close to the Castle and Folk Park. Great value for money, would recommend to anyone!
Pros: Late night bar. my wife loved the Spa. she wanted massage and treatment but your place had no slot too fit her in.
Pros: The really early check-in after a transatlantic flight. Its a beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of the world.
Pros: Location was important during my visit
Cons: door on left on entering corridor to rooms should be kept closed, smell of cleaning materials and appearance takes from overall impression
Pros: Nice hotel and we were especially grateful after attending the medieval castle banquet that we had a short walk to get back to the hotel.
Pros: location, convenience to shopping and comfort
Cons: getting wash cloths and the smoking room availability
Pros: Situation, staff, views
Cons: Its an old building so for some reason closing of doors of other rooms was very noisy
Cons: Nothing. It was a great facility. Terrific for adjusting to jet lag or for a nice , comfortable stay on night before returning home
Pros: The location was good, the room was most comfortable
Cons: The toilet did not flush very good, and the staff did not seem very concerned
Pros: Comfortable beds, good food, overall atmosphere
Cons: Bathtub could use some sort of non-skid surface on the floor of the tub.
