Location and great food
Very nice meal, from restaurant
Pay 100 pound for one night to have over looking water view.. never got that looked onto another building...
Staff at Lil's were lovely and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. The bistro was nice and the food but having to walk outside in inclement weather isn't great.
3 flights of very narrow kyted stairs to a top floor room with a different entrance/exit after 9pm, but again with very narrow winding stairs with safety grip hanging off the edges. We had 2 rooms, one had been recently 'decorated/refurbished' but looked like a rushed job with emulsioning over missing plaster etc. Windows covered in pidgeon poop and cobwebs in between glazed unit and original window. Chair had a very loose leg, and I've just had a hip replacement and almost fell off it. Curtains were not 'gathered' into pleats; just taken out of packaging and shabbily hung up at window. Bed was uncomfortable and springs at side of mattress were weak causing one to almost fall out of bed if you slept too near the edge. Noise outside was really bad, keeping us awake till after 3.30am. The web site mentioned a little noise but this was offensive unacceptable language and 'revelling'. The man and woman who came in early Sunday morning were ignorant and rude!!!
The Location was perfect , everything was within a 10 minute walk in either direction, the bed was super comfy , really enjoyed our stay
Minor cleaning faults but nothing to make a fuss about
