Greifensteiner Hof

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is great, close to everything (restaurants, market, bars, the train station). The beds are very comfortable and my room was spacious.

There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Pieces of pubic hair on the shower's door. Disgusting. Breakfast was tasty but can't say it had very big variety. I stayed in 3 star hotels that had more options to offer. Internet signal was very weak and kept losing connection.

We thought the breakfast was exceptional. The staff at the front desk was also awesome. We liked that the hotel is located in an excellent area for walking about.

We were put in Room 123. We didn't think about it at the time, but this room is right on the path people take on wooden floors to their rooms. The noise from the hallway footsteps was constant and unavoidable due to the opening under the bedroom doorway. I finally folded up a blanket and tried to stuff it under the door to block some of the noise. Also, the room is located right over the main entrance and all of the smokers gathered there until late smoking and making noise. In addition, there is too much light coming from the windows even with the curtains completely closed. All of this made for a miserable night of sleeping.
