Brilliant staff the room we stayed in the bay was very nice location is excellent the breakfast is the nicest we have had in the lakes will be booking again for December
Nothing to dislike
Breakfast very good. Room nice size great location Very friendly staff.
Bed a bit small
Spacious, lovely breakfast ,location and comfy beds
The bar and restaurant staff were very nice, very polite and helpful. Food was good in the restaurant.
The rooms and especially the bathrooms are a bit tired and dated and need some time and investment to bring them upto date. The room was Not as clean as it could have , or should have been. Chewing gum left stuck on bedside cabinet. Bits of mold in bathroom along edges of tiles and shower doors. A few issues with cleanliness. Balcony is a very poor standard and not at all what you would expect. Leaking gutters above balcony causing pools of dirty water collecting right outside patio door. Unable to use. View from balcony was virtually non existent. A tree in front and a balcony below was all. Not enough clothes draw space. Bit of a language barrier at times with staff. Quite disappointed and not worth the price.
The breakfast was nice, had to ask for our toast the first morning it took about 15 minutes for it to arrive, by that time we had almost finished our breakfast the location of the hotel was only a few minutes walk to the lake.
The evening meal was disappointing, my husband had venison and I had the fillet steak, we were looking forward to our meal, both the steak and the venison were not cooked as we had asked, they did change my husbands venison but I ate my steak as it was. The new potatoes were left off my husbands meal and the stuffed tomato was left off my meal. The bread was forgotten to be brought to us. The chef did come out of the kitchen and apologise for the steak and venison not being cooked to our liking which was nice of her. I had had read the reviews for the hotel and had chosen this hotel for the location and food.
