Cons (-) Due to nearby wildfires, the hotel was shut down to the public. It became a staging area for police and other emergency personnel. I booked the hotel via Kayak in June. I did not receive a notice of cancellation until the Wednesday before Labor Day. This created undue stress and scrambling. This hotel will never make my list of potential destinations. Stay at the Best Western instead!
