Pros: It was conveniently located near the downtown area. The Beach/pool was kinda cool because it was a salt water pool with a beach feel, I thought it was perfect and I always had a seat!

Cons: Based on how the hotel is promoted, we were of the impression that it was an all inclusive resort. I was surprised when I arrived and was told that my package was really only for the room and did not include food which affected my budget.

Pros: The infinity pool was awesome! They made a private beach/pool area! The hotel has a great gym and is in a fabulous location.

Pros: Good location and nice private beaches. Room was big and the bed was comfortable but the interior is looking a little tired and worn.

Cons: If you’re a vegetarian or a vegan and like to have healthy food you have very limited potoroos. Breakfast was over priced and not great.

Pros: The view from our balcony was spectacular. The ocean & pool were beautiful & refreshing. The hotel restaurants and bars were very nice.

Cons: Music system at the bar broke down & was not restored the one evening.

Pros: Beautiful property. The pool is smaller than it looks in pictures, but it’s never crowded. The property is very quiet which is great when you just want to relax. There weren’t a lot of people here at the time I stayed which was a bonus. Extremely close to everything & getting around isn’t difficult. I rented a car from the hotel which was inexpensive and easy to do.

Cons: The indoor shower didn’t drain as I was using it. It was basically just a big puddle of water. Going off of the history of the hotel & it originally being an old Dutch monastery, there are old photos around of what it was then compared to it being a hotel now. However, there is a picture of a group of priests hanging in the outdoor shower. To me, it creeped me out. There are a ton of things you can add to the shower or simply nothing at all. The pictures are all over the hotel... we get it. It doesn’t need to be in the shower also & out of all places, the shower.

Pros: Very nice historical hotel pretty close to the city center of Willemstadt. Very friendly doorman at the nighttime for a quick and uncomplicated but very friendly and welcoming check in!

Pros: Very beautiful old monastery with a beautiful, dreamlike courtyard. Pool very small, but nevertheless cute and suitable for a round relaxation (hammocks are super:). Great atmosphere, which invites you to relax. Rooms are pretty and modernly furnished, only the bathrooms are a bit outdated. But nevertheless perfectly ok. Fair Traide coffee & accessories in the rooms. The hotel definitely has charm! We will come again!

Cons: Bathrooms are a bit outdated / damaged. If they were repaired in one or the other place, then everything would be perfect.

Pros: The hotel is in the middle of Pietermaai, the best area for bars and restaurants and very lively! The girls at the reception and at breakfast are very friendly and everyone is in for a talk. Our rooms had an outside- and inside shower which is amazing for the hot weather. The pool is perfect for cooling down and when we were there the hotel was very peaceful and not busy at all.

Cons: Apparently there’s a menu to order eggs and pancakes at breakfast, but we had to find this out ourselves and specifically ask for it. Rooms should be a cleaner as well.

Cons: The bed was very hard, and they didn't tell me how to open the door of the main entrence at night. So i had to wait till another guest came so i could get in.

Pros: We needed a hotel for just one night and it was ok. The hotel was clean, the bed was good, but it is clear that it is an old building. It is good enough for a short stay.

Pros: The hotel used to be an Ice cream factory, we are saluted on arrival With a taste of the ice cream. Facilities are ok, location is very Good - easy to go to restaurants and Punda. In our room there was a small kitchen With all needed to cook and have breakfast in there. Good room and hotel if you are by car.

Cons: Prices are all charged on USD and are expensive at the bar. 13usd for the breakfast is not worth if not included in your room fee. Shower is not hot, because a sun boiler is used.

Pros: We liked the location and availability of parking spaces. We felt in good hands, the staff always greeted us and was friendly. There was a lot of information about activities on the island and in the direct vicinity to the hotel. The small kitchen in the room was also great, so you could quickly prepare a fruit salad and refrigerate your drinks in the fridge. The area of the hotel really looks like a small village, especially in the evening we liked the many fairy lights. The history of the hotel is also very interesting.

Cons: Unfortunately our room door (1105) was repeatedly not properly locked after cleaning. The door was leaned or not fallen into the lock and could have been entered by anyone without a key card. After the second incident I reported this problem to the cleaning staff, who assured me that they would now pay particular attention to it. Unfortunately the next day the door was not closed properly again. Then I put a note in the room with the request to close the door correctly after cleaning, unfortunately this did not help either. The door wasn't closed properly almost every day. We carried all our valuables in the rental car then, which was very annoying. In addition, from time to time there were cleaning residues on the toilet seat. I reported this to the reception and shortly afterwards a cleaning lady came to me in the room. She almost saw it as an insult that I reported it and tried to explain to me that it was simply the colour of the toilet seat. After I had briefly discussed it with her, I simply removed the residue myself. Which, by the way, simply worked with toilet paper and water. The reception staff was always very understanding and helpful, the cleaning staff had long discussions in both cases and I had the feeling that I was not taken seriously. It was never my intention to blame someone personally, but to draw attention to a problem. Mistakes can happen, that's not so bad, but they should be corrected after repeated feedback. Unfortunately, these experiences had a negative influence on our stay. Despite this negative experiences we would book again in the Ritz Village.

Pros: For the price of US $12.00, it is expensive, for getting only ham, egg, cereals and fruits...there should be omelet served.

Cons: There was no HOT WATER in my bathroom, so for two days, my wife and I found it difficult to take a bath because there was no hot water. There was NO SECURITY LOCK on the room. Anybody with a passkey can enter. I found this very very dangerous and I was not able to sleep right away. I have to put a chair in front of the door.

Pros: The place had atmosphere, was comfortable, and was very quiet. The staff and owners were very nice, friendly, and helpful.

Cons: We did miss having a hot shower, but the other benefits outweighed that shortcoming, and we were aware that the water would not be hot.

Pros: The hotel had a great views and was within walking distance to some great restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: This hotel is not on the beach side of the island.While the reception area is grand, the room that we had was old and not updated. There were very few amenities. There were only a few outlets in the room - no outlets in the bathroom. There were no wash cloths, no extra pillows; it was a very basic room. We were only in Curacao for one night so it was OK, but if we had stayed there any longer, we would have preferred a beach hotel on the other side of the island.

Pros: location was great, rooms were dated, but the rooms were large and clean
