Pros: The grounds are beautiful and the staff does a wonderful job with upkeep. Myrte, Michelle, and the chef were all wonderful. They helped make our stay nice.
Cons: We had a bad interaction with staff at lunch being rude about how I “must not be used to such high quality meat” when I said that the burger was not my preference. Additionally, one darling thing about the resort is that you get fruit each day in your room - two days of our five day stay we were not given fruit. Additionally, breakfast is free, which is awesome, but they forgot one item that we requested 3/5 days. Not a huge deal, but I expected more when we were paying $800+ per night for our honeymoon. We loved our stay, but aren’t sure it was worth the cost. They also didn’t do anything special for our honeymoon. We stayed at four hotels over the course of our honeymoon in Paris, Amsterdam, and Curacao and this was the only hotel that did not make a special gesture. The Lions Dive Resort in Curacao upgraded our room and gave us some Cava! It’s not as romantic, but it was a great resort with great staff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wide Comfortable and luxurious villas surrounding by mother nature. The gorgeous natural pool / lagoon is a differential. Staff could not be more effective and friendly. Food is excellent. Excellent choices on wine. I would certainly come back.
Cons: N/a
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is an oase of beauty and comfort. It's a small sized complex, nicely decorated at a beautiful small beach. They take good care of you with a Caribean smile. The food is excellent and a good wine list. The beds and the cabanas at the beach are comfortable with great pool service. We asked for an extension for 1 night with an intermezzo of three days. Only after consulting with the GM they made it happen with a nice bottle of Prosecco at the room. Good job.
Cons: Rather small sized swimming pool, but the sea water is nice and much to see with snorkling, so who cares ! Only minimal stay of three days. No connection of the gym / fitness machines to the internet or TV.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort! You don’t like to leave it because it is just perfect to spend some days in the sun. Food was delicious and staff super friendly and supportive.
Cons: We booked the honeymoon suite but it was sadly located directly over the kitchen in which the staff started preparing the breakfast around 6 AM. So we sadly woke up multiple times from loud kitchen noises. They offered ear plugs but if you don’t like to use them like my husband who has tinnitus you should be aware of this fact. We can’t say anything about the noise in other rooms. The rest was just perfect and we would definitely recommend this resort.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Balinese ambiance was very relaxing. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Private beach was staffed with butlers. The water was clear and had no rocks. The turn down survive was our favorite. The food at the restaurant was good as well. Best resort I've ever been to!

6,3 Good
Pros: I came to celebrate my birthday for along weekend with 2 friends. Property is beautiful and rooms are nice (except for the bathroom issue noted). There were some mishaps relevant to plans my friend made to surprise me for my birthday. I will say the management worked very hard to address the issues that my friend brought to their attention, the staff was SUPER friendly and kind. I really liked them alot. The property is BEAUTIFUL. Truly and the beach is really close. If you like to party the location is perfect and its centrally located to lots of activities and action. The beach is BEAUTIFUL I mean truly beautiful. The massage I had on the beach was FANTASTIC. Definitely do that while you are there.
Cons: The breakfast buffet shut down at 10 am so we felt very rushed to get breakfast. The staff at breakfast was wonderful but they should probably extend breakfast to 10:30 am or 11 am especially on the weekend. There was a smell, pretty horrible, emanating from our bathroom throughout our stay. The hotel staff tried to address it and they aired the room out and it helped some but it smelled like spoiled cabbage. We had to keep the bathroom door open for the entire stay and open the doors when we were in the room to get some relief from it. If we closed the door then the bathroom smelled pretty bad. So going into the bathroom was not a pleasant experience. There were some mishaps with the arrangements my friend made to celebrate my birthday but the hotel staff worked hard to make it right and I appreciated that. I also experienced a lot of miscommunication around my check out. The day staff should communicate better with the evening and overnight staff. Didn't love the iguana that took up residence at the pool and once he jumped in I didn't want to use the pool because they carry alot of bacteria. Overall I had a pretty mixed experience at this property.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Really nice tropical garden, also the rooms with terrace is very pleasing, breakfast very good
Cons: We stayed 7 days and in 4 nights the beach parties till 2-3am stole our well-deserved sleep. It was soo loud that it was impossible to sleep without earplugs!!!! It's a pity, that such nice location is damaged by this fact. Never again to this location! And it should be really be included into the hotel description, that it is normally there to have party for nearly each night.

7,9 Good
Pros: Near the beach. Modern apartment. Great local fish at Kenchi's next door.
Cons: Book a Royal apartment to get a guaranteed Oceanview on floor 3. We booked a deluxe room with sea view but our room was on floor 1. The view was terrible. Luckily we were moved to floor 2 after two nights. There is no reception staff after 6pm. This is too early. The desk should be staffed until 10pm. There should be a lighted path to the property from the beach at night. It's too dark.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed having a kitchen, a large patio, and being able to walk to restaurants and shops. A dive shop and the sea aquarium are also walking distance. The staff are very nice and helpful.
Cons: US visitors - bring your electrical adapters. The Beach House uses the European outlets. Also, you have to pay a small daily beach access fee. And if you actually want to hang out on the beach you also have to rent a beach chair -- there is no place to just put down a towel on Mambo beach. That said, the pool area is very nice, free, and only a few yards from the water. You just can't see the ocean from there.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The large balconies with doors that opened up to the living space completely optimized the living space.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful! Location was perfect. Apartment was comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel is great Clean and beautiful don't hesitate book and enjoy your stay !
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff was very friendly very helpful. Rooms were clean and neat.
Cons: It was not clear that beach access would cost money. We are older and for our taste the beach was too loud And busy.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the room was spacious and clean and comfortable for 2 couples or a family of 4. the beach was close by and there was a morning shuttle to the grocery store.
Cons: i did not like that you had to pay 2.00 per person for beach passes. this should be included in the room or at least a certain number of complimentary passes per week. the coffee pot was a six cup drip which makes only 3 cups at a time so we had to make multiple pots every morning, basic things like soap, paper towels, etc are not provided
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice view. Friendly staff. Free, secure parking lot. Appreciated the early check-in.
Cons: Loud music from the beach clubs late into the night. Could be better stocked, eg dish soap, bath products. Would be nice if the beach fee was included.
7,1 Good
Pros: Clean, friendly staff.
Cons: There is AC only in the rooms so it can get really hot and unconfortable in the rest.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Scuba Lodge is very cute. The location is amazing because you can walk to lots of places. The facilities are clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was also very good.
Cons: We had an issue 2 days with the housekeeping staff waking us up by entering through a door attached to another apt instead of using the front door where we had the do not disturb sign on. We complained twice and this was resolved
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful! Comfortable bed, big sunny room, huge bathroom with great water pressure, beautiful garden, nice pool overlooking the sea! Dive center next door was great too , as was the little beach area and casual bar attached to it. Swimming here was a big rough though.
Cons: The cushions in the pool lounge chairs would stay wet for ages .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing boutique hotel in the beautiful district Pietermaai. We started our vacation here and it was the perfect start. Nice two small pools, sea view, very nice atmosphere in the restaurants in terms of light and music. Service is friendly. Food is good and the atmosphere amazing. Also rooms are modern and very clean. The staff is very kids friendly and there is even a little playgroud.
Cons: After 1-2 days you get a bit bored with breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. So we went out a lot to eat somewhere else for dinner for example. Which is as well great since Pietermaai has so many nice restaurants to offer if you do a little research. But I think the choise of the menu could be improved easily.

Cons: Music system at the bar broke down & was not restored the one evening.
7,0 Good
Pros: The view was incredible. All of the facilities of a fine resort. Tour desk was particularly helpful.
Cons: Ants in bathroom. Courtyard close to the room had some work done that workers did not clean until next day. Business center printer did not work but front desk staff was incredible getting boarding passes printed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is wonderful.
Cons: The little convenience store was really overpriced.
6,3 Good
Cons: Hotel was overbooked, reserved and confirmed room not available. Got an upgrade but that room was next to large construction works. Noisy during the day.

Our accommodation consists of rooms, 2-bedroom apartments, suites and our penthouse, varying from budget to over the top romantic!
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice grounds, amazing beach where you could stay in the shallow area or swim further for a little snorkeling. It was great for small kids. The hotel size is perfect, big enough that has different areas but not so huge that you don't want to walk from one side to the other.
Cons: With the exception of Nemo (their fine dining option) the food in the hotel was pretty bad, especially for the price. The quality of the breakfast buffet is comparable to an all-inclusive, however you get charged $18/person with no discount for kids, and it's the only bfast option in the hotel, a huge rip-off. I recommend not signing up for this in advance, there is a better buffet (and kids pay half) in Cabana, on the other side of mambo beach.
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff was very welcoming.......The beach and pool definitely makes the whole resort better. The kids really enjoyed the pool and beach area.
Cons: We weren’t comfortable in our room. The first night we discovered ants crawling on the walls & roaches in our bathroom. We called to front desk to make them aware of the problem, the front desk guy came to the room w raid to spray the roaches (so this isn’t the first time bc they have preparations) and he’s spraying and screaming and jumping around. After the spraying, That took the only bathroom out for the rest of the night. Meanwhile it’s 4 ppl in a room ( 2 adults & 2 kids) and I’m asthmatic. They front desk guy said he’s going to make a notation and let the supervisor/manager know in the am about the problem. We said fine.... nothing was done until Thursday, and we kept seeing the roaches in the bathroom the whole trip. The supervisor reached out to us on Thursday w a room switch solution but it’s our last day and it doesn’t make sense now. I worked in hospitality before, and this should’ve been solved immediately. How do you see the issue and cannot do anything but spray raid and say I’m sorry?!? There needs to be a Manager or Supervisor on every shift bc the front desk guy had no authority to help us in this situation. Every time he came to the room (2xs bc I couldn’t take the fumes of the spray) it’s “I’ll let the morning supervisor know”. Then there’s no wash cloths! You literally had to bathe w a hand towel bc they do not provide you w any wash cloths. So we ended up having to buy a loofahs to bathe with.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, awesome beach, great staff, great food, breakfast on the beach,
Cons: We loved it all
7,1 Good
Pros: Location
7,5 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the location since it was just down the street from all the shops and restaurants and the pool area. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Cleaning and changing of the sheets was done everyday.
Cons: The facilities are a little outdated for the price you pay to stay there. The beach is not a real beach but man made.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location is superbe, nice clean beaches, close to Diving Centre (Ocean Encounters), easy going atmosphere. Nemo restaurant is delicious!
Cons: Food at Hemingway is not outstanding. Breakfast buffet does not offer a good choice, price far too much, real coffee not included (just filter coffee...)! We would have appreciated the option of having an a la carte breakfast instead of paying 20$ for a joghurt, some fruit and a piece of bread. Had no option as we had to be at the diving center by 8am.
5,0 Okay
Cons: Poor customers service. Many mistakes and wrong amounts taken on my credit card. They took the deposit 3 times, charged 700$ more then they were suppose to, and I ended up losing around 80$ because of exchange rates. Got a room located at the other end of the resort, had to go through parkings and gates with a baby and a stroller to get there. Front desk told us there weren't any other available rooms. When we found others rooms on the internet, they accepted we change but had to pay extra (of course...). Very bad experience, wouldn't recommend.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: When our oven broke, we had the one new installed in one House
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very well kept resort, clean beach and water, many amenities. Staff was every day around doing some painting, gardening, cleaning, etc. Maybe a little too far from the city, but few bars and restaurants around. And a small shopping mall just aside. The Chill chiringhito bar on the beach makes great cocktails and BBQ shrimps and meat. Highly recommended for a great holiday in Curacao! You can rent a car and visit around.
Cons: Noisy place due to doors with gaps around and thin walls. Mattress a little uncomfortable, too soft, but is about preference.

Cons: The dining table chairs and couch are not my favorite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect here !- this is the first hotel I have been to that actually looks better in person than in the pictures. It’s great having a kitchen in the room with a supermarket close by. It was nice to sit on the wraparound deck and drink coffee with all the birds coming to visit. The staff, the pools, the beach- everything was wonderful!
Cons: Having to leave
6,3 Good
Pros: It was just OK
Cons: No a/c in the living situation aces
7,1 Good
Pros: nvt
Cons: Very (too) big and long distance from the villa's to the facilities
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice clean location good
Cons: Yess we enjoyed it
5,8 Okay
Pros: The resort was nice and met the expectations. However, you could see that some renovations and updating should be done soon. The pools were nice and all the staff - except from the lady at the reception desk - were very friendly. The villa is spacious and comfortable. I won’t say this resort is particularly good value for money. It’s not cheap and the feeling of luxury has probably be gone for some years.
Cons: Hospitality is all about welcoming guests and giving them the feeling of being welcome. At arrival we had a small dispute about the upgrade to a sea view villa. This was solved but in a very unwelcoming and displeasing way. Another thing is the way people are already assuming they can up sell services. At checkout day we were called at eight for our supposed taxi reservation. As this hotel was the first of a few we didn’t need a taxi. Surprisingly, the invoice for the taxi was made at checkout. This was swiftly corrected but it shows that a lot of effort is put in the commercial side of things. Maybe they can put the focus more on hospitality instead.

Pros: Great
Cons: Nor enough parking space
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Words wouldnt be enough to describe...I had a great time & received an excellent service :)
7,0 Good
Pros: By far the best thing about this hotel is the staff, in particular, Lisandra Cadeau and Shuraillis Daantji, both young women provided exceptional service, quickly changing our rooms because of the street noise, booking us a car rental specific to our needs and just their general graciousness and warmth were 5 star quality. I hope management recognises them for the incredible staff that they are
Cons: These rooms are basic, there are no frills, no extra towels unless you request and furniture is outdated but nevertheless we were looking for a budget-friendly hotel that allowed us to spend money doing a great number of the tours from Willemstad and also reserve money for a beach luxury hotel experience
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel employees are exceptional. The breakfast is good and hotel location is great.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location and the daily breakfast are the best.
Cons: Limited Parking. Staff were unable to provide us optional parking elsewhere; we found out that we could park outside the property and walk back. Also, room amenities are incomplete: had to call for iron and ironing board, the availability of the hotel having a 220V adapter available with a deposit and the purchase of additional coffee were not explained to us at check in, stove was not in the room at time of check in and it was dirty.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, hot water in badroom.
Cons: Parking space. Please chk the coffee machines in the rooms, they need to be cleaned.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was really tasty and the staff extremely friendly.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. The pool is smaller than it looks in pictures, but it’s never crowded. The property is very quiet which is great when you just want to relax. There weren’t a lot of people here at the time I stayed which was a bonus. Extremely close to everything & getting around isn’t difficult. I rented a car from the hotel which was inexpensive and easy to do.
Cons: The indoor shower didn’t drain as I was using it. It was basically just a big puddle of water. Going off of the history of the hotel & it originally being an old Dutch monastery, there are old photos around of what it was then compared to it being a hotel now. However, there is a picture of a group of priests hanging in the outdoor shower. To me, it creeped me out. There are a ton of things you can add to the shower or simply nothing at all. The pictures are all over the hotel... we get it. It doesn’t need to be in the shower also & out of all places, the shower.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice historical hotel pretty close to the city center of Willemstadt. Very friendly doorman at the nighttime for a quick and uncomplicated but very friendly and welcoming check in!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A monastery that has been converted to a hotel but kept the old charm. Perfect description. Each room has modern conveniences but they left the outdoor shower and high ceilings which are reminiscent of architecture in the early 1900’s. Buffet breakfast with a mixture of US and UK foods is provided every morning. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of restaurants, landmarks and night life venues. A 4 star restaurant is on the compound but it opens for dinner only. The front desk always has beautiful smiling young ladies welcoming you or wishing you well as you enter or leave. Anything you need they are always willing to accommodate to ensure that your stay on the island is perfect.
Cons: The chairs used in the open seating/breakfast area are sometimes shared with the on site restaurant and while they move them to the restaurant in the evening, they return them late at night which makes noise and can wake light sleepers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful old monastery with a beautiful, dreamlike courtyard. Pool very small, but nevertheless cute and suitable for a round relaxation (hammocks are super:). Great atmosphere, which invites you to relax. Rooms are pretty and modernly furnished, only the bathrooms are a bit outdated. But nevertheless perfectly ok. Fair Traide coffee & accessories in the rooms. The hotel definitely has charm! We will come again!
Cons: Bathrooms are a bit outdated / damaged. If they were repaired in one or the other place, then everything would be perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel. Staff are very attentive and helpful.
Cons: A small bar near the pool would be good.

Pros: Location
Cons: Constant pressure around money
9,6 Excellent
Pros: What a nice place! We really enjoyed out time here, especially in the courtyard pool area. The rooms are well designed and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. Location is ideal!
Cons: Not great water pressure in the showers. Room 19 has some odd quirks, tucked away by the housekeeping facilities and facing the main road. But the other rooms are great.

Cons: Room was too small for 2 persoon. Room is too far from the pool. No parkingspot where the room is
1,0 Poor
Cons: We booked a Standard apartment via booking, and when we arrive they just transfer us without informing in advance from the standard apartment that we paid for before arrival to a hotel room at the facility. Of course the hotel room is to small for the amount of people that are planed to stay for those days. That was for that time the worse experience we encounter from them, because in the month of May we just booked and stay there without any problem, every thing went perfect.
6,3 Good
Pros: Room is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Some staff friendly.
Cons: Looking at their website it appears a vibrant dynamic location. Yet, the hotel rooms (2000 nrs) had no view other than the back of buildings of the adjacent complex which made room terrace not attractive to sit. The breakfast is mediocre and geared towards mass and fast. The complex itself is quite dull and quiet despite the large pool. The beach is not part of the complex but an 800 mtrs away, overcrowded, not enough sun loungers and a tiny tiny stretch of artificial white beach. Anyone looking for the Caribbean white beaches lined with palm trees and ample place for sun bathing should go to the west of Willemstad.

Pros: I likes the whole villa setup. Like a tiny little village and we had our own house. Don's and the pool looked a little dated but that's just an opinion. I would definitely stay here again! Not cramped like a hotel would be.
Cons: The one room was a bit small, and it was difficult to open the closet door.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Secure parking on the premises. Very nice Beaches Restaurants, Supermarket and shops. Close to Spaanse Water were it is Watersport’s Walhalla.

Pros: The feel of the property as well as the location were top notch. The people who work there were all very nice and our room was tidied up pretty much everyday by housekeeping.
Cons: There was no phones in the room which might’ve been helpful especially for people coming international without phone service.

4,6 Okay
Pros: It’s a beautiful setting, really has the feel of a historic village. There’s not much going on in Willemstad (e.g., stores closed all the time, only a few tourist oriented restaurants) but it’s good to have a short walk to the things that there are to do. Also, as we’d rented a car, the parking was a plus.
Cons: It’s rundown, literally falling apart, and pretty much a ghost town. Many areas of the extensive property showed signs of complete neglect and there was clearly no intent to fix anything that was broken. We had two rooms, one of them never had hot water despite several requests to the front desk and both had very poor internet. One of them had chunks of bathroom tile that fell of into the tub. The other had filth in the tub that eight days of housekeeping did not remove (the dirt, noticeably human in origin, was embedded in the surface of the tub). The only thing that made taking a shower with the body hair of a previous guest bearable was that the lack of hot water got me in and out of the shower in just a minute or less. The breakfast was unimpressive (though they had real eggs available which was nice) and the staff was unfriendly. This property has so much potential but they’ve obviously stopped making investments in it.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: We were initially given a terrible room — no windows, dark, depressing, dated. We complained and were moved to a different part of the hotel into a much better room, which was still dated and not very clean, but much more spacious and bright. The best part was that it was located right in the centre of “downtown” so it was easy to walk around and take in the sights (that being said, there isn’t much to see in the general vicinity). We did take the free shuttle (in a beat up van with no air conditioning) to their other property in Westpunt for a day, which was probably the highlight of our time. It has a beautiful beach.
Cons: This hotel is a ghost town. It looks like it used to be a beautiful, well maintained property, but absolutely everything has fallen into disrepair and no one is working to make sure you have a pleasant stay. It seemed like the staff had just been hired for the Christmas season. Very few people were around; all of the restaurants, bars, pools were completely empty. Food at the breakfast buffet was the same each day and one of the worst breakfasts we have ever had. Everything was falling apart and had a grungy, unsafe feel to it. We found glass on the pool deck (where we were playing with our baby!), and several buildings were crumbling and abandoned. Unfortunately, the pictures online tell a different story and you are paying a premium for a very rundown property. We made the most of our time there, but it was not at all what we were expecting!
