Pros: Lovely host, made us feel very welcome. The best selection of breakfast we have seen yet.....loved the porridge with Baileys....or should I say Baileys with porridge
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfortable property with friendly hostess. Fabulous breakfast which we ate now going to go and walk off!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room very well presented with in-room tea-making & lovely homemade cookies. Host was lovely - friendly, accommodating and served a very nice breakfast with lots of options. One of the nicest B&Bs I’ve stayed in and convenient for friend’s wedding at Tinakilly House.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The owner very generously gave us a lift to a wedding we were attending nearby. She was very accommodating. Breakfast was very good with a lovely selection.
Cons: The bed was fairly small and the shower wasn’t great and lukewarm.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fiona’s place is absolutely lovely! We really liked our room and the outdoor sitting area. She has thought of everything - places to put items in bathroom and room, nice sitting chair, Kleenex, wash cloths, night stands with lights, suitcase rack, water bottles and a nice sitting room. The breakfast and breakfast area are fantastic! Close by to Wicklow.
Cons: The beds were a bit firm for our liking.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excelleng
Cons: The room was very small and the beds did not reflect the room rate.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Glen na Smole is a lovely property which is maintained to a very high standard. There is a spacious conservatory for breakfast and a large living room too. The house is in the middle of countryside so very quiet and with attractive views on all sides. When we asked for a number to phone a taxi, the landlady very kindly drove us into town herself and also recommended somewhere to eat that evening which proved a very good choice. All in all, the property was much better for some others which charged a lot more which we had stayed in on the same holiday.
Cons: We had a twin bedded room at our request and my only criticism is that the beds were rather narrow.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and very comfy beds
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazingly clean, the breakfast was amazing and the host Theena was fabulous. So helpful and accommodating and ran us into the town to save us getting a taxi. Was a wonderful find and a fabulous place to stay. We loved it.
Cons: Nothing, we loved it.
10,0 Excellent

Pros: We stayed in 10 different places during our trip to Ireland and my wife and I agree that this was the best. Perfect in all little details, and breakfast was simply wonderful. Our host is such a nice lady too.
Cons: Nothing I can think of
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a lovely lady who welcome us in her b&b and made us feel at home. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower super!!! Breakfast was delicious and veeeeery abundant! I really loved the style of each room's furniture, in the living room there is a corner where you can make tea and also a coffee machine and some very comfy armchairs. There's lot of parking space. There are some places to eat just a few minutes drive away. Thank you Carmel for taking such good care of us, we were really sad to leave! Serena and Laura from Italy
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic and the house itself was beautiful. There was ample parking as well.
Cons: The WiFi was spotty at best and only available in one room of the house.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located for what we wanted - and very comfortable.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room - but this was available in the lounge
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast. The owner cooked all that moment, with plenty of choices. The pancakes with fruit were amazing. Owner was lovely and the room clean and big. We felt really comfortable.
Cons: We had to pay in cash, and we didn't have that information. Breakfast is quite relaxing because the food is home made, so take it easy because is worth.
7,1 Good
Pros: Excellent host. Carmel is a really lovely, friendly lady
Cons: The bed wasnt very comfy at all in Room 4, very hard and lumpy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Carmel makes you feel immediately comfortable. More like visiting a relative or an old friend than a stranger half a world away from home. Would definitely stay here again

7,5 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly, quiet relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful gardens, stunning view from room.
Cons: Drinks in bar were a bit more expensive than anywhere else. Would have liked some information in room about hotel e.g. breakfast times, sample menu etc. Also some information on surrounding area, things to do would be helpful.

Cons: No Tourist information leaflets.

Cons: The service at dinner was quite slow.
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel itself is very nice, with old world charm, and the staff were very nice, but I would not consider it value for money.}
Cons: Food in the restaurant wasn't great. The beef was very fatty. We were given a platter of vegetables for 2 that consisted of 2 dollops of mash and about 8 sprigs of broccoli. My desert choice was not available also, even though the restaurant was quiet on Sunday night, and there were only 4 options to pick from.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great well maintained old historic property. A restless treat!
7,9 Good
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: Not informed of Breakfast or Dinner times at reception on Arrival. No Hotel details in room either.

Pros: The staff were friendly. The dining room food was tasty and the garden area was nice.
Cons: No fire escape information anywhere in our room, an incomplete form on the back of room door. I thought this was mandatory. No in-house information in our room, (e.g. TV channels, useful phone numbers). No local tourist information in our room or in reception area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent (always is) the scrambled egg and salmon so good i had it again on second morning. Although the pancakes my husband had were a temptation, he loved them and the crispy bacon. The drive up to the house is so impressive as are the gardens They are definately a WOW, although its not our first time here we still appreciate them, and the lovely walks around the house. The food was excellent as usual, and staff very helpful and friendly.Wonderful, very relaxing and we definately int

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Decent breakfast
Cons: First room was found to have a broken bed. Moved to another room. No tv remote. When one was located the tv had only 1 channel with a watchable signal. Kept awake by noisy wedding party guests walking through hotel between 1am-6am. No apology by reception and informed that we should have informed night porter ourselves even though we were located close to the reception where he should have been. Felt as though we were an inconvenience.
6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was lovely
Cons: We didn't say in the hotel we stayed in apparments outside which I didn't like the rooms in the hotel that were advertised were like country house bedrooms which I would have preferred

1,0 Poor
Pros: Filthy and very basic
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, the service and food were excellent. Close to local trains for Dublin.
Cons: Poor Tv and wifi.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great, staff very pleasant.
Cons: The townhouse rooms were extremely grubby. Walls were filthy with black marks. The stopper in the bathroom was broken, couldn’t drain out the sink. The floor of the bathroom was visibility stained and clearly hadn’t been mopped. Lay out of the town house wasn’t great, tiny television crammed into the wall in the corner. Overall disappointed with our stay due to the state of the room. Please give them a lick of paint as the walls genuinely look filthy. My girlfriend and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary and to be honest it spoiled the experience. The only reason I didn’t complain in the hotel is because I had enquired about a possibility of an upgrade beforehand and was told they were fully booked. The main hotel is gorgeous but the town house left a lot to be desired.
