Excellent breakfast, very comfy bed
nice welcome, but only from Allison, the accommodation was VERY clean. It was in a very good location,The breakfast was good, but limited choice we thought. The bed room was clean and comfortable but very small. The bath room was of ok size and clean & tidy
The general decor is ready for a make over now we thought.our worst issue was the shower & cubical. The shower head was desperate for a de-scale,the shower head holder was broken so difficult to position, the worst thing we noticed was the replacement knobs on the shower doors, these were poorly fitted, with the sharp threads extending too far into an already small cubical! Its down to details, but we think its the difference between going back or not.
The bedroom itself was clean, tidy and comfortable. The view across Whitby to the abbey was excellent. It was nice to be able to adjust the temperature of the room. The breakfast was very good, with a nice friendly atmosphere.
The bathroom was a little small, a very large person would struggle on the toilet. Only a minor irritation but the pull cord for the light frequently got caught as you shut the door, and would knock against the door when you opened it.
very comfortable bed ,lovely Brekfast plenty of choice and the hosts were very friendly and helpful .
breakfast very good good choice .nice atmosphere
door handle to room very loose almost falling off. wc door didn't shut correctly and the latch didn't work and wood trap you inside had to force the door to open could cause some people to panic if they where in the room by them selves
