When I did Chick in for two single beds room they told me that I have free breakfast , he did not make it clear that it is for one person because logically if you have two beds then it should be for two if not clear otherwise, then they apologize for not clearing that for me but charged me for the other person
Loved the location of this hotel. The hotel suite was great. The restaurant downstairs - enjoyed the food! Staff was very helpful as well.
The rug is our suite smelled somewhat.
Property is huge so it is all over the place. It is clean, and location is amazing. Bar and the food is good.
Room service is like come and pick up in plastic things i don’t like it. Hotel market is over priced Horrible internet all over the hotel. Like i barely made emails in my room. Although i am bonvoy member ! Your shipment arrived to fedex office and you pay 10 - 15 usd for every piece!!!! Unbelievable no information on this before hand.
$52 a night for valet too steep.
The Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel offers plenty of business perks for travelers in a neighborhood crowded with office buildings and across from the popular convention center. While Washington DC is highly populated with tourists, mostly business travelers find their way to Renaissance Washington.
Located in the compact Penn Quarter, the Renaissance Washington is a safe, convenient option for both business and leisure travelers. The area is full of restaurants and shops, and still close to the major sights and monuments. The Verizon Center sports arena, the Capitals, and the Wizzards are all close walks to the hotel. The hotel may seem secluded, but turn the corner and Chinatown is gleaming. The museums, monuments, and major tourist attractions are a bit of a hike, but three Metro stations within blocks of the hotel make getting around easy.
The 807-room business-oriented hotel has comfortable accommodations that were completely renovated in 2013. The rooms are clean and stylish, with modern and streamlined design. Rooms have large workspaces, iPod docking stations, upscale toiletries, and stylish bathrooms. The hotel offers a great gym and spa, plus Wi-Fi, a FedEx office center, a Starbucks, food court, deli, and sports bar.
With small rooms and little to offer, the Renaissance Washington isn’t a family affair. Situated in the middle of the business district, this hotel caters perfectly to business travelers and convention goers. It also is known to have one of the best gyms in the city, as well as an extensive business facility.
