The location was great. The room seemed old and outdated. The furniture in the room was all scratched up. The First impression of the staff was not welcoming, specifically, the gentleman at the front entrance, barely smiled, and didn’t even say a greeting to the guests that were arriving. Pros (+) Loved that the hotel was clean, very well located. Breakfast right across the street at Pocahontas Diner was amazing and convenient right across from the hotel. Many shops all around. Family oriented hotel. Would stay again if I ever visit VA Beach.

Pros (+) The view and the free parking.
Cons (-) Rooms need a refresh. The rooms were showing a lot of wear and tear (carpet was torn, the mirror was peeling, the light was rusting, and our balcony railing was loose). The elevators were also slow and there weren’t enough for the amount of guests at the hotel.

Cons (-) The receipt I have shows I paid for 2 double beds. Instead I got 1 king bed and a pull out couch. I told the front desk but they said it was a busy weekend and I could not get a different room. I did not get what I paid for and no one could help
