The location was excellent as it was right on the main walking street and train station. Also the staff was friendly and the accommodations were good for the value.
The shower was extremely small and the breakfast was not very good.
Very good location and staff were kind.
There is no elevator needed to walk to the stairs. I hope there is a elevator or somebody help me to carry the luggage.
Staff so nice, location great, room clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommend.
the location is great, it’s right near the train station literally a few minutes down the road. There’s plenty of restaurants/bistros and bars nearby and it’s a nice area to go for a walk around at night. Also credit to one of the staff members who was kind enough to let us leave our luggage in the lobby during our last day as our flight wasn’t until 10pm.
it’s not deserving of 3 stars, it’s 2 at best. It’s overpriced for what it is. The ‘double bed’ is two single mattresses pushed together. The room is very small, the bathroom even worse, the shower was a trickle in what I can only describe alike to a locker - it reminded me of a uni halls. The free breakfast is free for a reason it’s awful, me and my partner went down for the first morning when we arrived then did not bother go back, the pastries were rock hard, but not as hard as the meringues - they’d be better use in a hockey game. The apple juice was so watered down you could barely taste the apple. The cereal lost its flavour as soon as you put the milk in alike to soggy cardboard. They also do not warn you about the ‘Venetian municipal tax’ that has to be paid on arrival, €21 for two of us which was not mentioned anywhere.
I liked the location of the hotel. It is right by the train station and the major ferry stations as well.
The room was very small. The bed was uncomfortable as it was two twin mattresses to make a queen. The shower was extremely small for my 6'3 husband. I would compare it to a shower you would find in an RV. The breakfast was subpar. Pastries were stale and from packaging. Though we followed the guidelines regarding the conservation of water and the changing of towels, we had new towels every day. I do not like to be wasteful, so this was a bit annoying. The TV and aircon did not work. The view was over some other building's roof so that was disappointing. We also did not like how the Venetian tax was to be paid in cash at check-in. When we booked the hotel online the price said it included the tax on there.
