Room was too small.
The facility and the location next to the forest are great. The rooms were clean and cozy. The mineral water hot and cold pools are the thing making the difference with the rest of the hotels. The restaurant was also nice with delicious meals (no all though as the traditional “patatnik” wasn’t what it was supposed to be) and the breakfast had a great variety for every taste.
The things we didn’t like were small, but can make you feel uncomfortable if you expect 5*. The steam bath automatically stops and you just sit in a hot room with no steam and you have to ask for it to be turned on. Our waiter was a bit distracted and made us wait for part of our orders. The hot water in the room stopped for 15 minutes in the morning, right before we had to leave. Someone took our bathrobe at the pool and we had to explain to a few people before we received a new one .. Worst was the experience we had at the reception when we were leaving - the POS machine wasn’t working properly and we paid cash, but not after 4 tries from our side and almost blaming that the problem is with our cards and not trying to restart it because “they had many payments from the morning and no one had any problems” .. so if that happens to you, what would you expect from the staff?
The breakfast was ordinary, no cook on the spot to prepare pancake or omelets.
There wasn't cattle for hot water at the rooms, no free bottle with mineral water.
staff was rather grumpy and unwelcoming (spa reception for example). also, there were very few lounge chairs outside near the pool and the tables at the restaurant were not sufficient for all guests I guess some sort of organization needs to be introduced for breakfast as well
The outside pool was OK.
The room was facing the parking lot and the tennis court. It was a hot room, but when opening the window you could hear people playing tennis and cars arriving/leaving. The inside pool is tiny and full to the brim with people. The SPA in general was tiny. The food was horrible - we got the half board and the both the breakfast and dinner buffets were really bad both in terms of food choice and food quality. Both bottled mineral water and coffee were unusually expensive. Not a 5 star hotel by far. A refurbished communist-style building.
