Pros: This hotel is new and clean with most things you could need in a hotel room, with modern pleasing design. It has a kitchen part (which you leave in the same condition you found it), and a big bathroom and shower (not American style, thank goodness). It is also dog friendly (€5 fee per night). It is quite convenient to get to by car, and has parking right outside and underneath.

Cons: It is situated outside the centre of town, a twenty minute walk (but I knew that and that was all right), in a newly built area of spread out buildings which seem to be used mainly during day-time, so there is not much else there.

This happened both before leaving the hotel at teatime and on our return. No apology proffered. Just couldn't care less attitude and no manager on duty to supervise.

Pros: This hotel offers great value for money. We had a room with a double bed and a single bed, plenty of room for 3 people, toilet separate from bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, a desk and seating area. Plenty of carparking even though hotel was busy. We stayed here for an overnight stay on our way back to the ferry port. I chose the hotel due to its value for money and it's location. It is just a few minutes drive from the beautiful Conleau area of Vannes. A real bonus was the restaurant. We had planned to go into Vannes to eat but it was pouring with rain so we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We had 3 courses for 25 Euros, a great meal in a modern restaurant where it wasn't just hotel guests eating, thoroughly recommend it. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. A much cheaper option is to go into Vannes (although the breakfast did look great). We drove to the port area of Vannes, but it would be a pleasant walk from the hotel to the old centre. The hotel would be great for a few days break to visit Vannes, the Gulfe de Morbihan and the Carnac area.

It was 20' on foot to the city centre with a great parking space, so you didn't really have to move your car unless you headed for trips to the beautiful villages & countryside around.

Cons: For a room with such a great quality & of such great space, I would like a dustbin in the room or more hooks in the bathroom, small things that make the life of a traveller easier & the room more functional.

Pros: Quiet lift to room with balcony on second floor. (Room 205) The bed was comfortable except the waterproof mattress covers do tend to make you sweat through the night. Breakfast well organised and reasonable selection. Only 20 minutes walk to historic centre where you will find many good restaurants and patisseries. The harbour is only 20 minutes walk and a further 15 minutes walk to the boat quay where you can arrange a cruise around the Golfe of Morbihan which I would highly recommend.

Cons: No real complaints except some little problems which can easily be fixed. The reading light on the right side of the bed flickered continuously. The ceiling light in the bedroom did not illuminate. The lighting in the bathroom appears to need replacing as it is quite dim. Not really problems but will need attention.

Pros: Breakfast was pretty good as there was a good choice even decent cornflakes and the location was reasonable being about 15-20 minute walk from the old centre. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons: There could have been 2 glasses in the bathroom and a shower curtain to prevent the floor being soaked. For older visitors the lack of a lift to the second (if not the first) floor is a real negative. Overall, compared with the private hotel in which we had stayed in an historic tourist village the previous 2 night, the value was poor.

Cons: 1. Very poor noise insulation. I was able to hear and understand conversation in next room, not good for privacy! 2. The hand basin had no plug so I was unable to wash my razor whilst shaving. Even if it had been supplied with a plug it would have been too shallow to wash the razor. I had to run the water into the bath(which had a plug) just to shave myself, using at least 20 times the volume of water that I would have used in a hand basin. Quality hotels have a statement on the wall about being ‘green’ and eco-orientated but obviously that does not extend to water usage! 3. There was no shower curtain supplied or fitted so water soaked the floor every time my partner or I showered 4. The duvet supplied was very hot with no alternative available, such as simple blankets, nor any means of cooling the room down since there was no air conditioning. Both my partner and I slept poorly because of this, making us unable to be fully active the following day.

Pros: Breakfast was v good. Staff were delightful and helpful. Directions given and service given were impeccable. And we slept extremely well. And the car park is huge.

Cons: It’s a fairly hideous building which belies a very pleasant interior. Still, you can’t have everything.

Pros: some time when I order a big bed in france, they just provide a bed of 160*200cm, but this nice hotel provided a 180*200 one, which is very confortable! I recommend this hotel!

Pros: About halfway between the train station and the port, a block away from the old town, this hotel served our needs very well. It is clean, quiet, unermarcable, and good value.

Pros: Comfortable bed & good shower & clean. Good location.

Cons: No AC or fan, room on 3rd floor was warm, so pretty uncomfortable. No tea making facilities. A little noisy. We thought this was overpriced for what it was. So definitely a 2 star.

Cons: There are limited free car parking spaces. They must be reserved before arrival. We did know this and had to park on street.

Pros: We were impressed with everything. They knew and had sorted that we wanted blankets (not duvets). Free bottle of water every day. Think we got a bigger room because we were there for 5 days. Breakfast had a very good choice and a do it yourself orange juice machine - great. Given a good map with all the local eating places - most helpful.

Pros: The Hotel is in walking distance to the old town and the harbour. It is very stylish and offers everything you need for a good stay.

Cons: On arrival the staff's charm was a bit on the rough side. On time of leaving with different staff it was all perfect and helpful.

Pros: Staff were lovely on arrival, we came by bike and they helped us find a place to store them so we could go and explore until check in. The hotel felt stylish and individual, lots fo quirky design features that made it seem more homely and like everything had been thought through. Breakfast was good, and it was a quick walk into the centre.

Pros: Location was very good 5-10 minute walk from old town. Breakfast was reasonable. One member of staff was very helpful.

Cons: The bathroom didn't have a door. The separate WC was very small. One member of staff when we arrived was not friendly when we asked her questions. There was only a half a toilet roll when we arrived and we were two people.

Pros: This hotel is FOUR STAR! The quiet location is just a short stroll to the old town. Room was large, comfortable, huge bed, tea and coffee facilities and a fabulous bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. The main praise goes to the staff. The receptionist was lovely and professional. The restaurant staff were wonderful even though very busy. All spoke English too! The meal was amazing also. Also has secure underground parking. Great hotel. Will definitely return when staying in Vannes.

Cons: So the “smallest” separate loo in the world was a bit tricky, but did make us chuckle!

Pros: A clean comfortable quiet hotel. Front desk was very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. A very good breakfast for an extra charge. Parking was underground and was an additional charge. There is a restaurant in the hotel and good restaurants in the old city about a ten block walk away.

Pros: Good, accessible, well-lit car park. Staff really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Lift from car park good. Very clean in all areas.

Cons: No restaurant on Sunday evening, and not clear, if at all, when booking that this would be the case. Air conditioning didn’t work properly so had to open the windows. Lots of noise from the road - particularly with loading/unloading hotel goods or waste. We asked for a quiet room, but I assume this was not it!
