8,0 Excellent
Pros: Both breakfast and location were very good.
Cons: 1. Way too expensive (300 euro per day) 2. Kitchen smell in the room early in the morning (both days)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price, service, and breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Michaela at the front desk was wonderful! The breakfast was great and the chef was so nice!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect as central for everything. Beds were very comfortable and room was very quiet considering hotel was next to road with trams passing all day. Didn't have breakfast in hotel so cannot comment. Staff were very friendly and welcoming to hotel and throughout our stay of four days in hotel. You are spoilt for choice of the many restaurants and patisseries nearby.
Cons: Shower in room was powerful and always had plenty of hot water but had no shower screen so unfortunately floor around got very wet and slippy. Also it was equipped for disabled person.
6,3 Good
Pros: Marketed as a 4 star, it's obvious they 'ticked all the 4 star boxes, heavy nap towels, nice sheets, etc.. - but alll as in expensively as possible. Overall, big money for a small bed!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location close to the station but walking distance to everything in town was great. It was also and surprisingly very quiet.
Cons: Maybe a complimentary breakfast vs paid? But really that didn’t matter, I just went out anyway.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice room .. bath robes , free ice and bucket for wine . Close to station and supermarket, train right out the front
Cons: English movies on tv
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room and bed Receptionist on arrival a bit frosty
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: This is my first review as I travel often. I work for ABC News and this was a very horrible experience!!! The first issue was the room was not ready at check in. We had to wait 2hrs for the room to be cleaned. The tv didn’t work, and the front desk wanted us to contact the tv company to fix the issue. That was the start of many issues. Second, the elevator did not work and the staff didn’t care. The hotel staff was so rude we requested an early checkout. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!!! DO NOT STAY at this property. I requested a refund for the second stay they wouldn’t let us speak to a manager. The communication was beyond horrible!! It was so bad we took a loss and had no choice but to check out early. The room was dirty and the sheets had stains all over the bedding. Again, DO NOT STAY at this hotel.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to Rail and Centre of City
Cons:
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2,8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4,8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

Featured amenities include express check-in, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped kitchenette. Daily cleaning.
Cons: Tiolet and shower room were separate and there was no hand washing facilities in the toilet.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very cosy apartment-hotel. Fully equipped. Very comfortable beds. Close to supermarket and the seaside. Very pleasant personnel.
Cons: Everything was fine. :-)
8,3 Excellent
Cons: Changing the sheets more often
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice property.
Cons: Glass door on bathroom
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice terrace, nice appartment
Cons: Far from train station
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location near to beach
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, clean room and a friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay at Villa Velvet very much. The place s close to the beach and restaurants, yet conveniently far from the main street and thus silent and quiet, enabling for a nice terrace breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and supportive, we received umbrellas and some extra beach stuff for free to enjoy the sun time. Building and rooms are clean and modern, cleaned every day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen (the larger room had a washing maschine which was totally cool). Villeneuve-Loubet is a small town which looks as a typical summer seaside village, but once you discover the old village you will find it amazing. Also, it is very close to Nice, Moncao, Eze and also some fantastic cities like Saint Paul de Vence or Valbonne (totally recommended!). Overall, a very good location for a vacation stay!
Cons: We had two rooms, the smaller one had a great terrace for morning breakfasts or evening wine discussions. The larger was more comfortable due to size, but the two points potentially worth mentioning: there were a separate toilet room and a separate shower room (located at opposite parts of the apartment). This was ok, but in the toilet there were no sink to wash hands, so you need to go the shower room. Kinda weird design I must say. The other thing you should be aware is that the room located on ground zero at the back of the building is a bit dark - it has an own small garden patio but is a bit hidden from sun. Not a huge disadvantage but clearly visible as compared to front side rooms.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, Villa Velvet was in the perfect location. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the staff were very welcoming and friendly - their English was far better than our poor French! The apartment was very secure - we had our own key and a code to come and go at our leisure.
Cons: The room was a little small - we stayed in a studio apartment - but we did have 6 weeks worth of luggage with us!
Hotel Le Negresco - Nice - Building

9,6 Excellent
Pros: An extraordinary location in Nice. The suite was extraordinary with an amazing view
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Negresco is one of the greatest hotels in the world. Completely unique with its quirky collection of art and antiques and its combination of old and new art.Rooms are all individual and charming. Breakfast is excellent, although I wish they had not destroyed the old Carousel in their renovations,
Cons: The people who were attending functions blocking the main door smoking. As most of them were women who were some what "glammed up", they frankly looked like cheap tarts. The management needs to find a solution to this.
6,0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel Unbelievable Customer Service Unique atmosphere There is no hotel in the World to bear Negresco
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location & property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The experience elegance comfort and quietness
Cons: Milk in plastic containers in the room
9,2 Excellent
Pros: An old hotel with a glorious history. There is so much history between these walls. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Good beds. Location is very good. There is a lot of wonderful art in the corridors. Take your time to enjoy it from 1st to 5th floor.
Cons: As this is a very old hotel there will be things that need refurbishment. Don’t focus on it. Focus on the historic spirit. Breakfast was very expensive and we have seen it better in many other hotels. Not bad, but not worth the price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the decoration, everything’s Perfect
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and beautiful art collection
Cons: The rooms are a little old due to the fact its a national monument and the shower is exceptionally small
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Negresco is a lovely opulent hotel with fabulous art and sculptures dotted about. We were given a refurbished room with a lovely view of the sea which was beautifully decorated. The bathroom was good although there was a shower in the bath which was quite high and not that easy to get into. The housekeeping staff did a great job as the room was kept spotless with turndown at night. Breakfast was of a very high standard with a lot of choice and we ate outside which was lovely.
Cons: I felt some of the staff weren't as friendly as others eg the concierge
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our room was the Coco Chanel room and we were super impressed! The view, comfort, amenities, art, room service, welcome gift... ALL made us happy we chose the Negresco!
Cons: Our room wasn’t ready until after 5pm on checkin date.
6,0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.

Pros: Great staff, very friendly atmosphere. Good value
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable small hotel and very helpful and friendly host. Well located for access to both Juan Le Pins beachs (10 mins walk) and Antibe old town (25mins walk). Lovely front patio very nice for a few pre/post dinner drinks in the evening.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good value, good sized rooms and access to parking
8,8 Excellent
Pros: There is a patisserie in the old town called jean-luc Pele. I absolutely recommend it, in may change your life. The hotele itself has electronic blinds that absolutely shut out the light so you're guaranteed privacy and you'll likely sleep in and have the best rest that you've ever had. Their bathrooms have wonderful towel warmers and have a full-on Bath which is fantastic for resting tired muscles from walking around and seeing the sights. There is parking behind the property - I advise that you attempt to park there because off-street parking is a bit of a mare.
Cons: the location was not as close to the coast as I was initially expecting from the map pin on booking.com so it is a bit of a drive to that or any decent restaurants other than that it is adequate.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room with small balcony and good parking behind hotel
Cons: 15 minutes walk to the beach
7,5 Good
Pros: Jean-Christophe very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Bathroom could do with extractor fan.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect - close to the park, beach and restaurants in Juan les Pins and at the same time easy to get on the big road to travel around. The room is clean, spacious (!) and comfy. The staff is nice. There was always at least one parking spot available for us - no problem with that. Oh, and we got an early check-in!
Cons: We loved everything and these are just minor comments: You have to order a breakfast a day in advance and if you forgot - you can't even order tea/coffee. We were also a little sad/weirded out that there were plastic cups in the room and not reusable cups since the hotel is so... "zen"; don't get me wrong, this is not a big deal, I just don't see why you wouldn't use reusable ones, especially given the overall vibe of the hotel. A kettle in the room wouldn't hurt :)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, clean (we liked the smell of lavander on the sheets and towels). We had everything we needed in the kitchen.
Cons: A day before we left we received a note with clear instruction on how to clean the kitchen, otherwise we need to pay 45 euro. I have stayed in many studios and apartaments in Europe but I've never seen something like this.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good organization and facilities! Great idea to put a coffee machine in the hallway, especially for those like us who don’t buy breakfast...
Cons: Putting a flower or two in the gardens would definitely improve the total package for visitors. Especially for those staying on the lowest floor.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner proprietor were very hospitable and helpful The room was very clean and spacious The breakfast was excellent and very good value
Cons: Nothing

Pros: This hotel added to a wonderful stay in Nice.Location could not be better. Hotel employee (concierge) was a great help! Entire staff was exceptional.
Cons: nothing
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location was the only thing the hotel had going for it - the rest was clearly not Hyatt standard and extremely disappointing.
Cons: We experienced the worst hotel experience that my wife and I have ever had - From the 5 hour wait to get to our room (admit arrived on early flight at 10.30 and not given keys until 330 (realise check in was at 3 but surely some priority could have been exercised especially when we explained the suituation but no and I mean none what so ever empathy was shown and we had to even in the end come to reception for the 3rd time as a promised phone call when the room was ready was not even forth coming . The room we booked was a king room and from the moment we checked in at 1030 I knew there was going to be a problem as the receptionist said we only had a room with single beds at first and when I pointed out it was a king she went quiet and said they would work it out - well they did not and have a the room with the explanation that that is what a king bed is !! Please !!

8,8 Excellent
Pros: We were here just for a week. Hotel is located centrally right across from the beach. Rooms are very specious with luxuries beds. Dinner experience at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. Just one small issue - we did not get city center view as the website promised. Balconies were facing each other with no privacy.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The front desk and concierge staff were very nice. They were able to change my room when i disliked my partial ocean view room.
Cons: Service was inconsistent compared to my friends that were also staying at the same hotel. I was staying 4 nights and only got turn down service once.

Pros: Great location, lovely homely hotel and great staff. Loved the brekkie!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION. Very CONFORTABLE BED.
Cons: The WIFI basically dies at night, almost can do nothing that needs the internet (especially checking new plane tickets and hotels for new travel). This was really a surprise.

Cons: air con not working , rooms were not cleaned util later in the day.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was superb for our needs. Bed very comfortable and room very clean
Cons: The lift! Maximum 3 persons!!! Very slow and usually not available
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Myself, husband and 2 adult sons stayed at Hotel Suisse for 5 nights. On arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. Also, as unfortunately our French is not that great, all the staff spoke excellent English. We made our way up to the second floor where we had 2 double rooms next to each other, each with a small balcony. The rooms were very similar in size and layout and were extremely clean , stylishly decorated and well equipped. We had tea/coffee making facilities which were replenished daily. There was plenty of information leaflets in the room about the area. The bed was large and comfortable and all the bedding and towels were changed on a daily basis. The en-suite was a very good size with a bath and shower over. There was a hairdryer and shampoo/conditioner and shower gel also in the bathroom. Again, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and well lit with plenty of space for your own toiletries etc. in the bedroom there were doors which opened onto the balcony. The view was incredible, overlooking the whole of the Nice beach and promenade. The road below was fairly busy but the doors to the balcony cut out all the traffic noise to allow for a peaceful and climate controlled night with the efficient air conditioning. There was a small table and two chairs on the balcony so, if you desired, you could eat breakfast outside. The self-service breakfast is served between 7am and 11am and was of a very high standard. There was almost anything you could want to choose from, which was continually being refreshed, from cereal, croissants and pastries, fresh fruit, all juices, bacon, eggs, pancakes yoghurt with a choice of a pot of tea, coffee or hot chocolate brought to your table. The dining room was extremely clean and with a lovely decor and overlooked the front of the hotel. The hotel had a choice of stairs or a lift, although the lift was pretty small. The hotel’s location was perfect!
Cons: The only thing maybe missing from the hotel was a relaxing lounge area in which you could sit and have a coffee in during the day, after a day out or even after dinner out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really good buffet breakfast with Fresh squeezed OJ. But no snacks available in the hotel for the rest of the day except the minibar. Even a snack and drink machine would help as it is a ten to 15 minute walk to the commercial areas.
Cons: Just know the hotel is on a Main Street so ask for a rear facing room (if they have such a thing) if that bothers you. But then you miss the great views of the med. and people watching.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location is perfect, beautiful view and you are directly at the beach or in the historic center. Breakfast ist absolutely ok and staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the room. We booked a Superior Double with Sea View for quite some money. Our room was on the first floor, very small and just with basic interior. The door to the bathroom could not even be closed. To us it seemed more like the cheapest category and had nothing to do with Superior and the images on the website - despite the price. Disappointed because it was planned as surprise for my partner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing .we were so happy with everything exceeded our expectations
Cons: The view was out of this world from our. Room

4,6 Okay
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: Over-priced. Really basic uncomfortable room for 350 euros a night! Unwelcoming staff. Uncomfortable beds. Unresponsive management—we told them we were unhappy with room, but they didn’t care.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great view from room overlooking the sea and seafront. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel rooms were tired looking, hotel needs to be modernized. Breakfast selection was not great.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff, super room, comfy bed, lovely humble but newly redone bathroom -- really good place. Just across the street from the ocean, if we'd stayed longer I would have been swimming, as were many other people. Very convenient to the old part of Nice, but not right in it.
Cons: Breakfast food was terrific but the coffee was weak.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Responsiveness of staff to our needs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Our room felt warm and a fan was promptly provided. The old town was a short walking distance from the hotel and the elevator up to castle hill is next to the hotel. The pool was wonderful and nestled among the cliff side. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location is great, cannot beat it really. Right next to Old Nice, in front of the beach and still walking distance to the main shopping street. I also liked the balcony of my room and the roof (not the "fitness center" though).
Cons: In general my stay was disappointing. Firstly, it is a terrible value for money place. The only great thing is the location. I paid 550 Euros for a small okay room (with a great balcony however). The breakfast was okay at best. I am a big eggs in the morning guy and they just looked watery and ill. I did not even try them. The other hot option was sausages, and what am I going to eat sausages without eggs?! I was there for a night so I also had dinner. I had work to do so ordered room service. Next morning I woke up with an upset stomach and still have one. I ordered a caesar salad and smoked salmon. Clearly something was not clean.. (I did not eat something else). I had to drive all the way to Cinque Terre the next morning and that was not pleasant at all. The fitness center is outdated with one treadmill, one bicycle and one elliptical. I felt like I was going to fall off the elliptical. In my eyes, management feels complacent due to the location, the views (yeah it looks great in photos) and history of the building. My advice is sell it to someone that can do a better job of taking care of their guests. I actually noticed in Nice that a lot of hotels are not part of a chain and have a great location but just look sad. It defaced the city. Seems like a problem to me. I am not particularly a fan of large chains, I have been to many great independent hotels and boutiques (one the previous night in Aix, called Maison d'Aix gave it 10/10). But when the original owners and management grow complacent, it is not a great look for the city. A 7.1/10 is a gift when taking into account the value of money.

Pros: Charming historic property with lovely views and wonderful staff.
Cons: A bit tough to reach due to narrow roads but worth the effort. A bit further from Nice than anticipated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old chateau very well converted into this rabbit warren of a hotel.
Cons: I wouldn’t say we disliked anything. Only don’t try to get your car there, it’s down a tiny, tiny road. The hotel have a car that can collect you and your luggage from the nearby security car park. The security car park doesn’t take big or expensive cars by the way.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in an amazing old village, with winding cobblestone streets. The hotel is a tastefully converted old castle on a cliff, which makes for a very unique experience. The restaurant had the most delightful view overlooking the sea. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely situation in a Medieval village of note, great sea views and really super attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Easy to walk up into the village, or down into the newer town. Very easy from the airport. Excellent attentive staff.
Cons: The location doesn't provide a relaxed outside seating area. There isn't much they can do about it, it is in a tight village setting. You have to be able to walk including stairs but if you can't do this you shouldn't be staying in a Medieval hill top village.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Although the location was a little remote and access was slightly difficult, it was a peaceful and lovely option to staying in Nice which was about 25 minutes by car. We have been there twice and would stay there again. Beautiful place.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent dining, amazing local history and clean.
Cons: No hotel parking but superb free taxi service to lower valley car parks by staff
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The staff had a great sense of service; young, dynamic, enthusiastic and serviceable
6,3 Good
Pros: The building is lovely and the terrace is nice.
Cons: Our room, which we chose based on the various deluxe room photos online, doesn’t appear online. It was a strange room with an internal staircase leading downstairs (within the room) to a cave-like room with low ceilings and tiny/short opaque windows. The room size is fine, but not at all like the other deluxe rooms shown online. My husband hit his head on the ceiling multiple times and I was challenged with my claustrophobia, with the ceiling probably 5’10”. Sink and shower didn’t drain well. We queried the reception about whether this was what we had reserved and it had a plaquard saying it was a deluxe room, so because we arrived late and tired, we didn’t argue.
6,3 Good
Pros: staff
Cons: Badroom, furniture old and decoration is simple
5,4 Okay
Pros: staff
Cons: Room is small, furniture is old
9,6 Excellent
Pros: All the rooms are named after painters. there is a gallery above the main reception, a bar and some interesting windows out the front of the hotel which we found after breakfast. Our room (Besset) was at the back of the hotel and full of antique furniture up on the third floor/roof of the hotel. The shower room was compact but well designed with a choice of toiletries. There is a lift and excellent air conditioning. The hotel is found in narrow pedestrian streets and the hotel is decorated beautifully- magnificent ambience. The staff are relaxed and come to fetch your cases from the car (which may be parked quite far away.) You can take a relaxed breakfast on the outdoor terrace.
Cons: Be very careful to find the car park instead of trying to drive to the hotel. It is impossible (and may be nerve wracking!) unless your car is tiny! The streets get narrower and narrower. We liked everything but the breakfast was quite expensive at 25 euros. Nice though. Worth it for the terrace experience.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: A tad old but nice hotel, well managed. Comfortable and clean.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff, comfortable room.
Cons: Buffet breakfast was disappointing. Small pool area. Room was not cleaned until afternoon.
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: Some of the staff are very lovely and i grew tired moaning at them.. Eden rock we’re we stayed the previous week could learn from them... in fact they should poach all their staff particularly nathalie who is most excellent
Cons: It is difficult to understand how they have had so many high ratings as feed back I can only conceive they have faked their reviews. This is not a 5 Star hotel which might be where our issues lie. Rightly or wrongly I expect certain things when I travel Clean rooms , gym , working internet, comfortable pool and furniture, more than 2-3 hour time windows in which to order food, a lift that will fit a pram, comfortable lounge areas... I also object to spending €50 on Sun beds everyday... however I have more Il feeling towards hotel.com who sold it as a five star hotel and then showed no interest in helping me change booking .., We knew the area that we were supposed to be in and felt comfortable booking the hotel as it claimed to be a 5 Star. Then they just ignored my complaints , I also paid for a direct sea view which you get on the 4th and 5th floors but on the 3rd only a view of trees hotel .com again unhelpful..

Pros: Amazing hotel !
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, lovely hotel, staff super helpful, just a very relaxing place
Cons: nothing, will be coming back
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast 27 euro for a mediocre scrambled eggs rubbish bacon and pale sausages. Not for me but plenty of fruit croissants etc. The charcuterie was excellent at lunchtime with the mozzarella / pesto tomatoes vg also.
Cons: A shower screen or curtain would have prevented the bathroom becoming a wet room, with the best will in the world you couldn't stop the water from splashing out.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff hotel and setting
Cons: Nothing will.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Actually the croissants were wonderful, according to my husband so much better than English ones! Comfort very good and most of the staff excellent
Cons: Couldn’t cope with the ridiculous pricing of breakfast. Beware everyone and only pay for why you eat
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and staff were lovely.
Cons: More attention to detail cleaning would have been appreciated.

Pros: Basic breakfast
Cons: In room ventilation not working and no attempt to rectify
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice quiet location only 20 minutes from Nice. Pleasant garden setting for swimming pool and we had one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking it. The restaurant adjoining the hotel was excellent and very popular so booking is advisable via hotel reception.
Cons: Rooms are ok but by bigger hotel standards are a little basic and would benefit from updating.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was charming, traditional in style with a lot of character
Cons: Nothing really. While the hotel is only 1.8kms from the centre of Valbonne, this is not an easy walk as there is not a continuous footpath on what is a narrow & winding busy road.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely welcoming, and going above and beyond to make us feel at home. the location and facilities were great, highly recommend.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The pool is great and there is plenty of space, parking outside is easy and spacious, rooms are very big, staff is also super friendly
Cons: The walls are very thin and so is the door to the hallway, you hear almost everything which is particularly annoying in the morning, also the streetside rooms can be very noisy as there is a restaurand directly attached to the building. There were some heavy things carried to what felt like directly under our room late at night and early in the morning. If you want to sleep in you‘ll better bring some earplugs. Apart from that its good value for the money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel and rooms were nicely decorated, very clean, very quiet, nice pool area, lots of convenient parking, and the staff were always very helpful and sweet. Their Italian restaurant next door was fantastic, full of customers, great prices.

Pros: Location and room were very good
Cons: It’s located in the centre of the village and there was s not of noise from neighbouring properties.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Front desk was not manned and the door was locked when we arrived which was the middle of the afternoon. When we went back the person was there and unpacking her shopping. Later, we asked for 1. decaffienated coffee 2. a bandaid 3. creamer for the coffee and tea in the room. They had none of these things. There was a dead plant as decor in the entryway. Really?
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Ambience
Cons: No coffee facilities in room. Room and bathroom extraordinarily small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel from the moment I saw it. Located on a lovely pedestrian only square with heaps of restaurants. It is tricky to find if you have a car. You have to park your car about 50m from the hotel but it was free and usually easy to find a spot. Great restaurants and shops surround the hotel. I loved Valbonne.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The rooms, the restaurant, the views.
Cons: The Breakfast service was appalling, and as it’s a big part of your stay it would prevent us from staying there again.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location.
Cons: The staff was very rude ,no bell boy ,bar closed until 3 pm ,you can t check in until 3 pm and they don’t offer any changing facilities. Only Luca the concierge was the only decent person there .
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic stylish hotel directly on the beach Beach club & restaurant excellent
Cons: Nothing although basic rooms are quite cramped
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, breathtaking views. Stayed at the cottage - it was an amazing space and very comfortable for a family. The garden was also a excellent addition - great for having breakfast and lounging in the afternoon with chairs and umbrellas. Front desk staff was very helpful with assisting with restaurant recommendations based on our criteria. Beach area was great - access to sand, water, water activities.
Cons: A negative with the cottage was that it was across the street from the main hotel and had a limited view of the water. Also was a bit loud being near the road. Reserving chairs at the beach area was made overly complicated. Everyday we were told it was booked when we called, but seats were available when we asked by the beach area. Different answer every time we asked. Service in beach restaurant could be better - slow.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The view
Cons: Everything else From being ripped off by the car the hotel sent me to zero help from the hotel when my bags got lost by BA. Instead if relaxing i spent a very stressful anxious 5 days
4,2 Okay
Pros: Staff were great
Cons: Room was like a travel lodge yet was over 600 euros per night Building work going on at the property and behind the property so noisy that my baby couldn’t sleep - advertised as tranquil.
7,9 Good
Pros: The staff in the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and efficient
Cons: The pillows were not good - our pillows were very flat and lumpy. Asked the concierge to book a table out of the hotel on one night and when we got to the restaurant it was closed.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance, felt like we were somewhere very special. The restaurant overlooking the ocean is a must. Food and service expensive but worth a special indulgence. The day beds and swimming in the sea is amazing.
Cons: Paying extra to use the day beds and towels.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean room. Beautiful views from the upstairs outside bar area. Lovely beach/sun deck.
Cons: The last day wasn’t good as a charity event was being held in the hotel that occupied all the staff and completely took over the hotel. It began with deliveries outside our room waking us up before 6am. The upstairs open bar and restaurant being closed for the event as well as a large part of the beach. Drilling by the beach while a marquee was being erected all added to feeling like an intruder in the hotel. Finally, as the guests arrived it was difficult to get hold of a porter to assist with our luggage to the taxi.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: This small, art deco hotel is beautiful in almost all respects.
Cons: 1. The bath, like the rest of this art deco beauty, is classic. However, updating lighting and fixed shower panels could make the use of bath facilities more comfortable and safer w/o sacrificing 'The Fitzgeralds' look. 2. The generally high tone of this property sadly falls apart at their beach restaurant. Staff and service there are from a rougher, tougher modern era. One suspects it's contracted out from the discordance w this classy hotel in general.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is beautiful, and we loved our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is romantic and lmfelt luxurious.
Cons: The restaurant/drinks were very expensive. It would have been nice to get a glass of wine for a reasonable amount.

Pros: Nice hotel and central to everything
Cons: The bedrooms need a facelift.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This was the second time We visited the hotel. The staff was very friendly, location excellent and the rooms are clean.
Cons: We were satisfied, and will certainly come back.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything is thought of for the guest in the room. Having a kettle and a fridge means a cup of tea after being out or a glass of wine. Its like coming home. Room was spotless, and luxuriously comfortable. Black out blinds and silence meant sleeping deeply and unusually late. Breakfast was excellent - before I only had the pastries which are not good.. this time I tried the egg station ( cook your own eggs) which was perfect. Great selection of cheese and meats and fruits. I had a great view on this occasion. It is obvious staff want to please the guest.
Cons: I can't say there was anything I actually didn't like but to be picky - I had some difficulty with the WIFI .. not sure if it was me or wifi problem in general... I would like a little more English TV .. Bloomberg not of interest to me... would love cheap film channel. Also I would like if staff had a little more knowledge of restaurants etc., instead of a standard direction to the restaurant part of town.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location, Parking
Cons: 15 euro per day for parking

Pros: It was a comfortable hotel
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Very bland, tired and dowdy . Needs an overhaul.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location within walking distance of all resort facilities, with very friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast. Lucky to get a sea view. Beach towels available at reception. Breakfast was excellent, nice selection of breads/cakes, eggs, meat/cheeses, nice coffee.
Cons: Loved the hotel, no entertainment but close to bars and resort centre. Wake up with church bells at 8am every morning, good if like us you are up for breakfast and site seeing.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: I have stayed at Le Grand Pavois on many occasions in the past. On this occasion I met with an accident that was poorly dealt with. The bath grab rail was not secured properly to the wall and as I got into the shower holding the rail I fell backwards and injured my forehead. Had it not been that the shower glass held me back I would have fallen backwards on to the floor and do not wish to imagine what might have happened. I reported this to the front desk. The manager eventually spoke to me explaining that they can't do any repairs at the weekend. She offered me free breakfasts for the rest of my stay.

Cons: Not the hotel’s fault but shame we were based below a private apartment where the owners argued their way through the night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, Quiet AC; Location
9,6 Excellent
Pros: To begin with, my partner and I thought of staying for two days and one night but we happily extended our stay to three more night and four days. It has been a long and worthy one. We had a strong sense of belonging to the hotel and the whole atmosphere. Breakfast was served in the room at an additional cost (which is affordable) and was really nutritious and tasty! If you are looking for value for money, I highly recommend this hotel !
Cons: I wished it had a swimming pool, that would have been the cherry on top of the cake !
6,7 Good
Pros: The price
Cons: The room was tiny and stall shower is the size of an airplane restroom. Someone larger than skinny would never fit in the shower.
7,9 Good
Pros: It’s a good 3 starts hotel. Nice lobby.
Cons: Old style furniture and outside is really not nice to see it (need to be renovated) but inside is ok.

Pros: Staff really friendly Breakfast was outstanding!!!
Cons: Many business guests smoking front of the door, which makes awkward to go to the swimming pool or the garden.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: No WiFi for three days, gym machinery not well maintained
6,7 Good
Pros: Hotel is cool with interesting art, tennis court and nice pool area. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Small spa with steam room and a real sauna is also a bonus.
Cons: Hotel is beautiful on the outside but it leaves you cold inside. I felt it lacks some personal touch. Some staff even lack customer service attitude; for example, I was looking for a house keeper and run into a lady from the reception, and she just said to me ”I’m not a cleaning lady”. Nothing like ”What’s your room number, I’ll pass your message to the right person”. I got the impression that some of the staff behaved like they were working in an art exhibition rather than in a hotel. However, when I finally found the housekeeper, she was very nice and friendly. Also breakfast was pricey for what you get. You should also be aware that you need your own car because the access to bus transportation was difficult (reception could not even give us proper directions to a bus stop).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpfull, restaurant food has improved immensely since our last visit and is value for money.Location is great for visiting St Paul or Vence .Nearby is a wood where you can walk your dog.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Classic design, comfortable modern rooms.
Cons: Spartan breakfast with inattentive service, poor sound insulation between rooms.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, nearby forest. Silent, modern and high comfort level. High class restaurant and premium master chief. Reception ... polite and helpfull. Room cleaning done daily, very good. Huge garden, nice park around, very good facilities - big pool, parking secured, tennis ...
Cons: Service level during breakfast should be improved - we staied 2 weeks and things changed for good last 3 days (a new person came to monitor the breakfast). Also there is need for more cleaning around the pool.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: the hotel has a gastronomic restaurant with an excellent chef, we recommend to people who has a good taste, best regards, Cyril Mambote, room 111
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was great. Very close to St. Paul du Vence and very quiet.

Cons: The hotel was very difficult to find. Getting from the parking below to the hotel was complicated as there is no signage in the garage as to where you need to go to get to the hotel. The temperature in the room was very cold and could not be warmed up as they had switched to air conditioning mode only. Had to go to the hotel next door and ask for ice. The printer did not work to print boarding passes. Only a couple TV stations were in English and all but Disney was news.

Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Need to take tram to find good restaurants

7,5 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Hotel is fine for a functional stopover in Nice in a quiet area of Nice with easy walk to sea and old town.
7,7 Good
Pros: Room was nice, plenty of space for our family of four, beds were comfortable. It's close to the train station and a very short walk to the beach/water, and the main street with shopping and restaurants. Couldn't have been a better location and the neighborhood was quiet.
Cons: Had an incident where the staff told us our breakfast came with the room, then they later charged us for breakfast. Staff member said he never told us that, even though he gave us a tour of the breakfast room. We paid, but were surprised that the hotel basically accused of lying. A 4 star hotel at that price has clients like us who can afford breakfast, so it was strange that they made us feel as if we were trying to skip out on our bill. Other than that, we had a nice stay and the staff was very accommodating.
7,1 Good
Pros: We have stayed here before - in fact last year. After long flight from Australia we find it convenient with good restaurants close by, easy walk along Promenade des Anglais and easy to pick up a rental car at the Nice train station. Breakfast was good and the staff pleasant.
Cons: We booked a Superior Room again but it was no where near as nice as the room we had last year. It was very shabby with chipped paint, skirting boards coming away at the wall and noticeable damp on the wall near the bathroom. It was smaller also.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very comfortable within short walk of the beach and also the town centre. The staff are so genuinely friendly it feels like home. Strongly recommend.

The Westminster Hotel & Spa, BW Premier Collection is ideally located on the Promenade des Anglais, only 15 minutes driving from Nice Cote d’Azur Airport and 15 minutes walking from the railway station. Recently renovated, the hotel allies the Belle Epoque style and the modern and contemporary decoration. The frescoes and high ceilings, traditional of the architecture of the 19th century, are still visible while the renovation of the front of the building now shows very modern and bright areas where guests can fully enjoy the panoramic terraces emphasizing the view over the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can now enjoy at the restaurant Le Duc the delights of Mediterranean menus with local ingredients. Meals can be taken either on the terrace facing the sea or in the restaurant with a view over the open kitchen. The 99 rooms and suites, the majority of which face the sea, are all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi access and air conditioning. Seven meeting rooms totaling more than 440 square meters, two of which are Belle Epoque style, can host all sorts of events up to 200 guests. The hotel’s Le Spa 27, offers 400 square meters of relaxation with five treatment cabins, a sauna, a steam room, a Jacuzzi® and a heated pool with counter current swimming and aqua bikes. Guests can relax and take advantage of the beach or go for a walk on the magnificent Promenade des Anglais. Several museums are available within few minutes from the hotel.
7,0 Good
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: There was no hot water for one full day out of my 2 day stay at the hotel. Also the breakfast had not a lot of options of cheese, a few Brie and Roquefort.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The hotel was horrible. we ordered 3 rooms that , from them - 2 rooms were absolutely stink. The small was very bad. We even ordered a suite that even the staff said it was smelled from cigarette, they knew about it but the still sold it. When we tried to change the room the said it is not possible, and they will not do anything to call the manager or change us to another hotel. Just after 4 hours of screaming and declaring that we will sleep on the lobby floor after we paid 600$ a night, the let us sleep in a “reserved room”. They said the wouldn’t refund the money. STAY AWAY !! Our vacation was ruined, horrible staff and rooms.
6,2 Good
Pros: View of sea from our bedroom
Cons: It was a very expensive Hotel to not have access to the swimming pool within the price. This is an additional €30. we paid nearly €200 a night not good value not including breakfast. Not what I expect from a 4 star.

Pros: The location and the concierge service.
Cons: Late check in 3:22 although I sent an email that we'll arrive early. We arrive before 2 0'clock PM. reception lady was unfriendly. Used Coffee and milk in the room were not replace for the whole stay till we asked in the last day. Only one small welcome water bottle and again not replaced. Room was double room for 2 persons. Breakfast was poor. Egg is cold. No forks, knives or napkins on the table. We have to serve ourselves. Many food stuff finishes and not place till you ask ( cheese, hot milk, fruits, croissant). No ready to eat boiled egg. You have to boil by yourself. It was a help yourself if you can breakfast. An american lady guest helped us where to find the forks and knives and napkins.

Pros: Staff courteous; patient with my attempts at French; all spoke satisfactory English.
Cons: 1) Instead of a spa, I would have preferred a gym

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Very tiny rooms but i guess that is just ocean front Nice. Staff need to be a bit more update with public transport options. We were advised to take a bus route that no longer existed. Instructions to car park were also very vague.
