Pros: Gaston and Vanessa are amazing hosts, very helpful and lovely. They will guide you for must-see places / must-do activities. Vanessa also make home made cute souvenir mosaics ! The B&B is well taken care of, clean, and well situated.

Pros: Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Owners are friendly and helpful with information about the area. The service was fantastic. We had an early morning bus to catch and owners served us a full breakfast at 4.45am even though we would have been happy with a cup of tea.

Pros: The following was exceptional: service and friendliness; helpfulness with airport pick-up, making plans and getting bus tickets, etc. Just fantastic!! Made a big difference for our trip. The home was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable (we had the twin, two single beds and our own bathroom), and breakfast was good and plentiful. The room/amenities are basic but clean and comfortable and so Aijpel offers a great value. The location is very good. We walked right into town center and it was also a very easy walk to laundry service and grocery store. This makes the location very convenient.

Cons: It's quite a distance from town, but owner offered to pick us up from harbour on our arrival. Taxis are very cheap!

Cons: The following are a couple of considerations for improvement: the hot water pressure in the shower was not consistent, and the neighborhood has a lot of dogs that sometimes bark in the evenings. If you are a very light sleeper, this noise may be an issue.

Pros: I stayed at Javier's place for 5 days and it was such a great part of my trip! I was a bit nervous travelling alone, but he was super helpful in advising on things to do in the area and recommended the best value trips :) The room looks like in the photos, with an amazing view of the forest and is clean and comfortable. It's cleaned every day and the kitchennette was a good add on too! Breakfast was good and customised eg can be vegetarian. The place is about a 20min walk from the centre of Ushuaia, however it's a pleasant walk uphill or you can take a taxi for about only 100 pesos. I found the town and the walk safe during the day (never attempted it at night) and Javier also kindly drove me in and out of town whenever he could. It was also super convenient to organise the airport transfers with him. All in all, if you're looking for peace and quiet at the end of the world, I highly recommend this place!

Cons: It would've been great to pay for the stay in advance, unfortunately the only payment options were cash or Amex (which I don't have). Paying in cash was fine though!

The hotel is situated on a hill... but the entire city is. We never saw it as a negative aspect of the hotel. We did not try the breakfast. It was USD$5 each day. Close proximity to the main strip with shops and restaurants. Very hot shower water, room was always heated well, so I was extremely impressed with our stay.

Cons: What little time we did spend in the room... the wifi did not work for us at all on the first floor. Once you were in the lobby area, WiFi worked extremely well. It was a shame that I had too many troubles connecting from my room though. The front desk staff prefer you leave your only room key at their front desk each time you Leave and they return it to you once you return to the hotel. We were not a fan of this practice. We kept the key on us at all time expect once so they could clean the room.
