Pros: The room was very comfortable with a great view. The spa was amazing. Great massage at a great price. The restaurant was outstanding , especially the dinner with wine pairing. Breakfast was also great. It’s a little far from town but they offer a shuttle service. Perfect place to get away & relax.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hotel, spa tucked into the hill below the Martial Glacier overlooking the city. Great views, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant. The spa was very lovely and we enjoyed the outside hot tub!!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: the service was great
Cons: we lived in the ground floor, next to the gym room, which was noisy
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Views are amazing. Cozy hotel with great staff, comfortable beds, very clean and big rooms and baths. Very good spa with relaxing amenities and large indoor swimming pool. Hiking around was one of our great experiences with the guides Sabrina and Corina. Both very kind and highly knowledgeable about this town and it’s wild life and geology. Dinner and breakfast are excellent too. A place to come back for sure.
Cons: It’s nice views has a price. It is very hard to go downtown by walking but they have a bus with complimentary trips going down and back at certain hours.
6,2 Good
Pros: Awesome game room for kids and tons of daily activities. Babysitting services are available by calling an extension number. Free breakfast was fantastic. Nice pool and hot tub facility also.
Cons: Room quality wasn't what we expected. We had a standard room only and it was mediocre for the price. Older hotel that could use revamped rooms. Bathrooms have not been updated in a long time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great view.
Cons: Not in location to walk to town but there’s a free shuttle.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is comfortable and cozy with a good restaurant . They upgraded us to a beautiful suite facing the marina. The staff was very helpful.
Cons: Although the furniture and rooms had their charm an updating is definitely in order.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice rather the tired old cold meats etc. This was undoubtedly the best breakfast during our travels in Argentina and Chile. The cocktails were amazing and the bar staff were friendly and engaging. The room was excellent plenty of space and very comfortable. We had a great view from the room. The hotel also provided good regular mini bus service to the town. We stayed 2 nights and the third night was booked by our cruise company but despite this the hotel allowed us to stay in the same room which was an upgrade from the standard room. Which was much appreciated.
Cons: Perhaps a wider choice of food for people who are vegetarian or don't eat red meat in the restaurants?
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet location but a little tricky to locate the road to the front entrance - we had rented a car. It is outside of the downtown area but for those who do not have a car, there are several free shuttles daily between the hotel and downtown Ushuaia. Our room was large and clean. The view of the Beagle Channel was magnificent. Bathroom was modern and clean. Our room was warm and we did not see any air conditioning but we could open windows for a cool breeze from the Beagle Channel. Breakfast was continental but there was lots of choice. Dining room was very good – many seafood dishes. Hotel had a swimming pool as well as indoor & outdoor hot tubs. The reception was very helpful. They provided good advice on places to visit. While there was limited parking close to hotel there was a much larger lot across the street about 2-300 metres away.
Cons: The Internet speed in the common areas was very good but abysmally slow in our room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice, has beautiful view. Our room was very big, very comfortable and very clean. We liked the pool and the spa. The hotel does not have a modern style, but this is totally ok, it is well maintained and still nice. Breakfast was also good. Generally recommended. and we would stay again.
Cons: It is not possible to go with the baggage to the shuttle bus, only taxi is possible. This is ok, but the information should be somewhere as we were waiting after check-out for the shuttle to later get to know that we cant use it... The reception is at the first floor and when you enter the first time there is also no info and its a bit confusing... also nobody to help there with baggage.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great and very helpful. The room was excellent and very comfortable. Dinner was quite tasty, and it was nice we did not have to drive back into town.. A good jumping off spot for the National Park.
Cons: We cold have uesd better directions on how to get to the hotel form downtown. Due to some construction and a lack of signs , we had to stop twice to ask directions. Once we found the hotel, we were very happy with it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was wonderful with an exceptional staff. The views throughout the property were spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel. All the food was wonderful and an excellent wine selection as well.
Cons: The only thing that I felt we could've used was a fan. Being is Ushuaia air condition isn't necessary but at night the room tended to be a bit stuffy and the flow of air from the window, when opened, was held back by the curtains. Other than that, we loved this place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Views, food, comfortable bed! Gym & spa
6,3 Good
Pros: Location with great view over beagle channel.
Cons: Far too expensive for what you get. Service is average with partly arrogant staff, food quality in the restaurant and at the bar is at rather poor level. Rooms are ok but cleanliness could be improved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is outstanding with an amazing view on the Beagle canal. We had a premium triple room with view on the canal, exceptional. The breakfast is excellent as well as the restaurant where we had all our dinners. Swimming pool, and Spa facilities are great as well. I had an excellent hot stones massage.
Cons: We leave too soon ...
10,0 Excellent

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view in this hotel is "outstanding" and worth the stay (much better than the view from the expensive Arakur hotel). All rooms face the town of Ushuaia (see pictures) and the view is so nice that we purposely left the curtains open to see the lights at night and the sunrise in the morning (try also the small roof top for an even better view). The bathroom was modern and appeared new, while the bed was VERY comfortable. Great view from the breakfast hall as well. The variety of the breakfast was very good and plentiful, enabling us to eat sufficiently to get through the day with a power bar till dinner time. The staff (English speaking) was also very attentive and kind. We had dinner at the restaurant in our last night and that was great too (try the King Crab Risotto...). Internet was free and fast enough. The hotel is not in the downtown area but having stayed in Ushuaia for 5 nights (all at the Los Acebos), I can comfortably say that this is a plus. Rent a car, get around at your own pace, explore beyond the tour routes, and park right in front of the hotel at the end of the day. You will not regret it!!!
Cons: We cannot really point anything we did not like at the hotel. I do not recall seeing a pool but who cares??? I would not go to Ushuaia to spend time on a pool.....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the hillside overlooking Ushuaia. Spectacular view. Wonderful staff. Excellent restaurant
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really nice, up on the hill, not city center but the hotel offers shuttles and taxis are cheap. Nice view!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view is great, the facilities are comfortable and clean.
Cons: It is too far out of town. There is a shuttle bus which runs every 2 hours. The last one back is at 8:00 pm so you either have to have dinner in thehotel or take a taxi back.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view. The room is comfortable .
Cons: Hotel should be more pro-active in offering excursions. TV with 2 channels ...
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room across Ushuaia was magnificent. The staff were very friendly and efficient
Cons: All was very good.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with excellent staff.
Cons: Kind of noisy at night on the street side.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Staff in the reception is helpful.
Cons: Our rooms (605, 606, 607) were right by the main busy road n it was very very noisy until 1am. I suggest not to use these rooms until the other rooms in the main building are occupied. For this reason, our sleep/rest at nite was shorten by few hours.
4,5 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Gave us room on ground floor facing main road. Whole night traffic noise kept us awake. Windows were not sound proof. For any issue, staff says ‘No English’, didn’t want to solve the problem.

2,0 Mediocre
Cons: The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly (hairs on floor), the tv remote didn't work (even after getting a second one), the tub was clogged, the personnel didn't speak English so it was hard to communicate. When I asked for a cup of tea the woman looked annoyed. The walls are also thin (noisy). I requested a taxi several times for the next day but it didn't come. When I finally checked out the agent did apologize, ordered a taxi right away and gave a concession for the price.
6,0 Good
Cons: The hotel is nice however the room was a bit old and feels dump. New and clean bathroom thought. Staff very helpful, place to leave the car outside the hotel and good location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All staff is very thoughtful and caring. Loved the room, specially the bed.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very good WiFi. Clean.
Cons: Far away from the centre. Window right to the corridor, not to the street.
8,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, breakfast good. I was able to check in early on my return to the hotel and was offered breakfast. The rooms were heated. If you needed a taxi they would call one for you. The hotel was secure with a locked front door. You were given a key so you could enter whenever you wanted to. Nice views of the snow covered mountains.
Cons: There was only one place to get food, Tia Olivia. But you had to have the pasta cooked and the sauce heated there. Then you brought it back to the hotel to eat. The hotel allowed you to use their dishes and silverware. It was a long walk into town. But taxis are not expensive so you could taxi both ways if you wanted to.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff was incompetent. We were fetched by someone to be taken to an excursion and the morning receptionist said there was no one registered by that name which was clearly untrue because the evening receptionist found it. Nobody in the hotel wanted to acknowledge their mistake (the owner categorically didn’t want to get involved). We wanted to be reimbursed at least part of the extra expense that we had to pay in order to join the excursion, to no avail. This is a CATASTROPHIC HOTEL. I would surely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Apart from the rooms being very small, the furniture is old and ugly and the staff leaves a lot to be desired
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy apartments, nice walk to the centre (30-35 min)
Cons: broken fridge in the room
7,1 Good
Pros: Whirlpool bathtub
Cons: 15min walk to the city center downhill. Had to take a taxi sometimes.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel with very good rooms. 5 Minutes walking up a hill from the centre. Staff are great!
4,0 Okay
Pros: Large rooms.
Cons: Only realized today that the hotel charged me falsely for "restaurant" when I did not eat there, nor did I touch anything in the minibar. Please check your bill before you pay, my lesson learnt!
7,1 Good
Pros: Great location, very spacious rooms, some have a lovely outlook (ask for a rear mountain view room if you like sun) though they don’t always honour requests
Cons: Overheated, can’t turn off floor heating. We were travelljng as a family and they put us in two different blocks even though when I booked three months before I asked for rooms close by. Staff are patchy - some excellent, others less helpful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, very close (3 min downhill, 5min uphill) to the center. Spacious rooms.
Cons: Room decoration is terrible :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good place to stay, the room was pleasant, warm and comfy. The beds and sofas were very comfortable i did get a good night sleep, the hotel is very well placed, you can go anywhere walking and the area is quiet.

Cons: Entry to the hotel is restricted, you have to be buzzed in- which takes quite long around night time Terrible wifi all around the hotel- felt like dialup connection Breakfast spread needs to improve

Pros: Really enjoyed our time there. Had some noise issues in our first room and were moved promptly to another room with great views! The hotel has a lot of charm both in the rooms and in the common spaces and the hosts go out of their way to advise and help.
7,5 Good
Pros: Over booked - moved to a less nice place
Cons: Over booked - moved to a less nice place

Pros: Nice view from the viewpoint at the third stage. There is a small inside patio where you can have a rest and spend a time looking at the stars. Also there is a nice area for breakfast, as well as yammy breakfast!
Cons: Quite place, but not so nearby from the main streets. It is ok for young people to have nice walk, but not for elders.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted with welcoming smiles every time we returned or left the hotel. The staff was always willing to give great recommendations for dining and tourist attractions around the city. The hotel is situated on a hill... but the entire city is. We never saw it as a negative aspect of the hotel. We did not try the breakfast. It was USD$5 each day. Close proximity to the main strip with shops and restaurants. Very hot shower water, room was always heated well, so I was extremely impressed with our stay.
Cons: What little time we did spend in the room... the wifi did not work for us at all on the first floor. Once you were in the lobby area, WiFi worked extremely well. It was a shame that I had too many troubles connecting from my room though. The front desk staff prefer you leave your only room key at their front desk each time you Leave and they return it to you once you return to the hotel. We were not a fan of this practice. We kept the key on us at all time expect once so they could clean the room.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast is complete and food. Tea and coffee always available.
Cons: Forniture very old and minimal, also leans and covers are old and consumed. Stairs are dark and dangerous. Covers were spotted and full of hairs from others. Staff Is ok but not really welcoming as in others Place we visited.

Pros: Very beautiful hotel, beautifully situated with a beautiful view. Very clean and spacious. Our flight had some trouble but communication with the hotel was perfect
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: That I left early
Cons: What a disappointment! For the first time in 37 years of travel I left a hotel halfway through the stay. Middle of nowhere location that does NOT really have any good views (the restaurant is in front of the windows so you actually don’t see much), the most awful breakfast, paper thin walls so you can’t sleep half of the night because you hear you neighbor breathing, restaurant closed until 8pm with nothing to eat nearby and, to top it off, very UNhelpful staff when things got rough. Stay away.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! It’s a warm place, pretty confortable and with family values!!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The location was fantastic, rooms are beautiful, good breakfast was included and the shuttle services is great

The views from the restaurant are breathtaking. The hotel was very clean everywhere.

The place was very clean, in good condition and small and very quite! It was only 8 to 10 minutes to San Martin Street and all of the shops and restaurants. It was very homey and comfortable.

Pros: Perfect distance out of the centre of town, breakfast was amazing.
Cons: The fact there was only 1 key to the room, so you had to knock to get allowed in the premises was unusual.

Pros: Good location for transfer to our cruise ship
Cons: The breakfast was not very good. Staff in the restaurant didn't speak any English.
6,0 Good
Pros: location was good. room service was excellent staff were helpful and friendly
Cons: the showers were very awkward to operate. I think somebody older and not as agile would have great difficulty operating the shower with the glass shower screen in a difficult location and being over a bath. Could be dangerous.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Hotel to stay at USHUAIA, Great Dining Room and Friendly Staff. Comfortable very clean room, Great Stay..
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Close to bus station and centre. We had an early departure before breakfast was being served, they made us up a breakfast package of sandwiches, pastry, fruit and fruit juice to take with us.
Cons: Rooms a bit hot and stuffy. We were on ground floor so was a little noisy
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff was very helpful and the whole hotel was clean and well cared for. The little cafe downstairs was a favorite stop for us while in town. Also, the location was perfect for our needs.
Cons: It would have been nice to have wash cloths in the bathroom, but we realize it could be a cultural thing.
6,0 Good
Pros: Nice room good location
Cons: Terrible Internet, breakfast minnimal
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is just awesome. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was good and if you ask for gluten free breakfast they bring you out special baked items which was great. We had dinner in the restaurant one night which was tastey. The massage lady was great and good value too. We used the sauna and steam room with jacuzzi every day. The room decoration is tired; I’m sure in a couple of years it will have a refurb and be a 4* hotel. Good value for the time being though
Cons: Shower was pretty bad. The gym is tiny- it’s been badly designed and squeezed into a corner of the spa like an after thought (and can only use between 2pm and 10pm. No kettle or anything to use to drink in the rooms- would have been very useful. Gets very hot in the rooms so had to keep opening the window as can’t control it.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff were friendly.
5,1 Okay
Pros: The location was good - right across the street from the cruise terminal
Cons: The heat was not regulated, and we had to keep the window open to reduce it from >80 degrees F in the room. The road noise was loud. The Junior Suite advertised a sofa and a full dryer and neither was in our room. The breakfast area had no clean tables - yet more than 10 empty and not bussed tables. The breakfast selection was poor, and not everything seemed very fresh. Wifi was unreliable at best in both the room and common areas. For cruise traffic, the early check out time was extremely inconvenient and we refused to pay the upcharge OVER the high rate to check out later.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Spa. Normal massage
Cons: You can not open a window in the room. No air. You can not pay the total amount in cash. Not breakfast, for omelette they ask a payment. They put a bottle of water on the table and in the check out they ask for money. No view
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast (included) was very nice. We purchased dinner and it was also very nice.
7,0 Good

7,1 Good
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: No early check out friendly. Didn’t serve the breakfast like we agree in check in on reception.
5,4 Okay
Pros: location is great, breakfast good.
Cons: little noisy, towel wasn’t very clean.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was fine for me at this hotel: excellent location, clean pleasant building, large quiet room with a comfortable bed, a safe and perfect lightening, quite large bathroom with plenty of warm water at any time, good buffet breakfast, kind and professional staff.
Cons: Check-in starts at 12.00. In my opinion, the hotel should study the possibility to offer an advanced check-in to guests arriving from Punta Arenas with the Australis cruise at about 08.00, maybe paying some extra fee, in order to avoid waiting for so long for the room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Close to to the pier, shipping
7,1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Poor breakfast. Facilities were just okay.

Pros: Excellent value, good location (10 minute walk to centro), delightfully quirky decoration. Homey atmosphere.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location was good. The breakfastroom upstairs had a great view on the Bay. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: The bathroom and toilet where in the room and no door to close it. There was hardly any space to sit on the toilet.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice staff and posada, lovely breakfasts and good sized rooms. The place is a bit off the centre but within walking distance, worth it if you are looking for a more local and homey stay.
Cons: It would have helping having somewhere to hang towels and clothing, considering you will very likely get wet while trekking or if it rain. Also somewhere to dry up your soaked shoes as there is no radiator in the room but some heating system to make it warm.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place well located and frendly personal.
Cons: Problem with paying with credit card cost me 1200 pesos in banking fee.

6,0 Good
Pros: First, room not ready due to water problem so sent to an apartment that was isolated and uncomfortable. Next day moved to hotel. It was fine. Breakfast adequate. Location good.
Cons: A room available the first night
7,0 Good
Pros: They gave us a dirty room to start with. Never apologized just handed us a new key. Kitchen staff did a good job but didn’t look very happy about it. The room was hot and no matter how many times I asked for the heat to be turned down it was still hot. Had to sleep with windo open so I had road noise and light.
7,0 Good
Pros: Good spot, clean and new hotel. wifi good
Cons: room heating is weird but windows open. Breakfast could have more options but it ok
7,9 Good
Pros: Helpful friendly staff good location large comfortable room good breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location, clean room, good bed, strong WiFi
Cons: a little high price
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The first room was filthy and had not been cleaned since the last guests. Bathroom ceiling was mouldy and room smelled unpleasant. Room lock was almost unusable and offered no security. We had booked 2 stays and for the second the room was a bit better with a redecorated bathroom. Breakfasts were terrible and dining room big, noisy and uncomfortable. Very poor value.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Clearness, friendly, large room, nice breakfast....
Cons: Outside door is small and not automatic
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Staff (especially Belydia) was fantastic.
Cons: Some rooms not remodeled yet therefore not so nice and modern. Bit noisy with prox to laundry and construction nearby.
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel was central to everything.
Cons: At first entering the room I thought it was a hostel. Very barebones and not in the best condition. No elevator in the hotel so you must bring everything up on your own. Wifi was spotty and only worked outside of the room near the stairs. Breakfast had minimal options but what was there, was good. Bathroom amenities were only bar soap. Nothing else. Not the best value for the money but 'ok' accomodations.
