Pros (+) This is a roadside individual cabin motel. That structure went out of style in the 1940's So this model dates from then. It has been upgraded, the room was clean, bed was comfortable. The staff and owner are friendly. If you are visiting Joshua Tree National Park it is a place to stay.
Cons (-) The motel is old. probably dates from the late 30s or early 40s. It has been upgraded, but the heating/ cooling system is noisy. The hot water in the shower is just warm. Not all the electric outlets work.

Pros (+) Great deal for all the space and amenities you get. Comfortable bed, colorful room; amazing views of the sunrise. Nick is a friendly guy who wants you to have the best stay possible, which I appreciated. I would definitely come back here.
Cons (-) There was a miscommunication with our room initially - we assumed it would include a bath, and it did not. I had gotten a hold of Nick a few days in advance to make sure we would have a bath, which he fixed, but on the day we were heading to the hotel, there was another miscommunication about the room. Pros (+) The rooms were like mini studios, privacy and clean.
Cons (-) The bathroom and kitchen dinning door needed to be closed to get the room cold. But overall wasn't too bad of a problem.
