10,0 Excellent
Pros: Second time staying here and just as good. All staff were awesome, building stunning, room comfortable, breakfast and dinner delicious, cooking lesson really fun. Thanks! Hope to be back again!
7,1 Good
Pros: The traditional house is charming and nicely decorated
Cons: The extra dinner was overpriced
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The building, terrace and the rooms are amazing, incredibly cosy and comfortable, with very nice local interiors. Central location, right in the heart of the Medina. Tasty breakfast and very kind and helpful staff. I was sorry to go!
Cons: The ride from the airport wasn't great - our flight was late and the taxi driver sent by the hotel was very angry at us (and every other driver on his way, stopping to shout at an old lady too).
9,0 Excellent
Pros: - very nice building - nice room - the staff helpful and available to suggest restaurants or tour or taxi. All the member of the staff except one are giving nice suggestions. - nice breakfast
Cons: - the shower holder was broken - I suggest you to do the tour of dougga because it is very nice, but not accept the extra price for extra stops in other towns. It is not valuable and there is nothing to see. - the medina is nice bus it is difficult to find a restaurant after 16.00. There are only a couple of it in that area and you will have to take a taxi to go to other restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The charm of the hotel details and decor.
Cons: Breakfast was ok. Would prefer having some eggs and not as much bread.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was so beautiful. So spacious and grand. The hotel offered pickup and dropoff at the airport, at very reasonable prices. They made us a packed lunch for our trip to Douz. The breakfeast was amazing: Fresh bread, coffee, freshly squeezed orangejuice, and fluffy omelet. Best stay, and such a wonderfull service. Tea in the courtyard was so nice.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location could not be better: In the middle of the Tunis Medina, yet a peaceful and tranquil place. The decor and furnishings of the hotel are tasteful. There is a beautiful roof terrace and courtyard. The service staff are very attentive, helpful and amicable. The breakfast was ample and filling. My room was very clean including the bathroom. Spotless.
Cons: My room was nice but not very practical. I had no desk. The garden table which was provided instead was helpful but still a makeshift solution. There was not much daylight in my room. This may be good in the heat of the summer. But in wintertime some sun light would have been nice. This comment, however, cannot be generalised as the rooms are of different design.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner who does everything for the good of his guests. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and invite you to feel good. The owner was very helpful for us when a taxi driver tried to cheat and harass us. He clarified the matter for us so that the fraudulent taxi driver gave up.
Cons: The Medina is a poorer residential area where you do not feel safe in the evening.

Overview Reviews
Located in Sidi Bou Said, Dar Fatma is within a 15-minute drive of Palais Ennejma Ezzahra and St. Louis Cathedral. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff , gentle and kind. The location is also very good, easy access. Breakfast is also good served at the table with plenty of delicious options.
Cons: Our room was close to the main entrance what we heard some noise during the night, when new guests arrived. Nothing serious or annoying, it is just a remark.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location near the lighthouse in beautiful Sidi Boussaid. We had a nice room overlooking the fishermen cemetery and the sea. Breakfast was good and varied. The rooftop is amazing.
Cons: We had no light in the toilets for two days. Not ideal... The bathroom was tiny and there is nowhere to put your toiletries. The little tub on the rooftop is more a pigeon pool than one for humans; so didn't feel like trying it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It is a very authentic hotel,if you want a real adventure feeling local atmosphere and culture, this venue is great choice With fantastic panoramic view, nice breakfast and very friendly personnel
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It was exactly as described, nice and simple accommodation, scrupulously clean. Staff were brilliant, couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.
Cons: Be aware this property is at the top of a hill that will be testing for those less mobile
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good
Cons: Hot water is limited
7,9 Good
Pros: Calm and beautiful place with nice and helpful staff.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The authentic feel of an Arabian courtyard house was obvious. The place is run by a family and the ladies are lovely. The room with our view is lovely - we stayed in Mouna and so we had a window with a tree and the med sea. However, any of the other rooms would only have a view of the graveyard or no window at all if on the ground floor.
Cons: They advertised as having a pool. There is not a pool. It is a small area with water where you could sit and be submerged from knee down for two persons max. The “pool” was not cleaned with bird poop everywhere.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This is an interesting authentic house with nice roof terrace, but the basin pool is very very small. The house is located almost in the center - the room is very small but cosy. The staff is very friendly but almost do not speek English - only French
Cons: Location is by the cemetery (( This house is not so easy to find and to get in ))
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely rooftop swimming pool, good WiFi
Cons: We paid 120 per night for three nights, with views of the graveyard (!) where a fresh grave was being dug on one of the mornings. Family of ours rented a 5 bedroom, stunningly decorated house, literally next door with indoor people and beach theme throughout for 1000 euro's for the whole week. I feel like we've been shafted with the price we paid and what we got in return

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had many choices and the dishes were delicious enough. The location was excellent. It was close to Tunis marine and Barcelona metro station.
Cons: If they have laundry machines, it would be more friendly to the guests. I had a lot of clothes already worn and wanted to use a washing machine. Unfortunately, they only had a laundry service, which was the usual hotel price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Location & cleaning & breakfast and friendly staff.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: There’s no carpet underneath the bed.. There’s no coffee maker in the bedroom. There’s no microwave in the bedroom. There’s no food delivery
9,2 Excellent
Pros: 1) You feel the love. It's been a family owned spot for 100 years it seems. 2) location is sublime. Imagine living right in the middle of a cozier version of champs d'elysses in Paris. Yes, it's perfect. 3) price. 4) breakfast is surprisingly varied and multicultural.
Cons: 1) the rooms are all a bit loud somehow... Either internally in the corridors (the doors are not soundproof at all and the marble floors don't help), or outside facing the street (again windows aren't sound proof). Remember ear plugs and you're grand. 2) pillows are too big. They could have a stock of 10 extra thinner ones as many hotels do.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A clean room with breakfast included in the center of Tunis nightlife for US$45/night seemed too good too be true but it was. The rooms were comfortable and newly modernized and the breakfast was much better than the standard.
Cons: The staff aren't as knowledgeable and helpful as you'd expect in an international hotel. Best to have a plan B when making requests.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent
Cons: Nothing
7,1 Good
Cons: No bar no refrigater
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing. It is in the center of the center. Close to medina. lot of restaurants around. 2 minutes walk from Monoprix (supermarket). Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. Very good Tunisian breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and ideal.
Cons: Had to take two elevators to get to my room due to elevator repairs.
7,3 Good
Pros: Brilliant stuff good location and very clean

9,0 Excellent
Pros: We visited Tunis in November and stayed here three nights. The location of this hotel (riad style, like in Morocco) was right in the middle of the medina, which we loved! We had a gorgeous room (with heating if needed for the mild winter). The bed was very comfortable, the shower decent and it was quiet at night despite the hotel having many other guests when we stayed. The room was cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast, which was included, was copious and so yummy. The staff were all so lovely. And we could leave our luggage here on our last day. Definitely recommend, if you're looking to be in/around the medina area. And general advise for Tunis: we recommend staying either in the Tunis medina area or around Sidi Bou Said/Carthage (beautiful)!
Cons: It is true what some have observed: the medina is very quiet and some alleys are unlit at night, and as a single woman, this might be somewhat uncomfortable. We were two, so we felt OK!
6,3 Good
Pros: Great location in Medina -walking distance to the major landmarks.
Cons: Bed was located in an elevated area with 4 steep steps. It was a small area and quite unsafe. You have to walk with your luggage through Medina to get to the hotel as no cars can enter. A staff member met us at the taxi stop after our taxi driver called the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: STAFF WERE THE BEST!
Cons: Everything was great but would love to see some variety in Breakfast!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Its location in the heart of the medina was a definite plus. The staff was kind and courteous throughout.
Cons: In general, the overall standard of cleanliness could have been higher - cutlery was often not properly cleaned. But otherwise, it was ok.
6,2 Good
Pros: No information provided by front desk for breakfast.
Cons: Train staff to communicate in basic English and Spanish, not everyone speaks French.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I got a room right in front of the courtyard. Very authentic and beautiful. Room was clean and cosy. The laundry service was impressively fast. if it’s too late into the night. The hotel is very near a really nice spa and famous Tunisian restaurant.
Cons: It turns dark pretty early at about 5.30pm and the walkway back to hotel can be quite quiet Cars are not allowed in this walking street so It was rather hard for me to drag my luggage in and out of the hotel to the nearest road for a cab, along the stone pavement which is not luggage-friendly.

7,0 Good
Cons: The service is not at the expected Level. Also the facilities do not have the 5 stars standards
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff! Really helpful in organizing ad-his birthday party and very dedicated in answering all questions first time tourist could have
Cons: Could have more variety of breakfast, for someone staying a week, having exactly the same 10-dish breakfast can be frustrating Could consider other taxi partner...the taxi serving this hotel is a bit of a ripe off with triple price and bad car condition (no air con)
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Personnel was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was poor, same with cocktails at the bar, overall hotel is very old, in need of refurbishment. at 200 euro per night I expected much more

Pros: Room was very comfortable, nice air conditioning, nearly all staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick and efficient room service.
Cons: Few, if any, vegetarian options for room service. It took me over 20 minutes to check out, making me slightly late for my trip to the airport. I think the staff member did not appreciate the importance of moving faster to get people checked out. Only a few English channels on the TV.

4,0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent in terms of being in the city centre. The hotel staff cleaned the room everyday, and was ok.
Cons: The breakfast mainly consisted of white bread and sugary items. No fruit and no fresh vegetables (tasted overcooked). I was very hungry very soon after. It would be useful if they had porridge, or something else that is filling, plus some fresh fruit. The wifi was very poor. It was too slow to open booking.com for instance and emails could take 10 minutes to open. The hotel generally smells of smoke everywhere, especially in the hallways (even on the non-smoking floor). The water in my shower was very slow to go down.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, save
Cons: The location is perfect, the room as clean.

7,1 Good
Pros: Location, Location, location.
Cons: 1) Breakfast is appalling: Setting has too many flies, elevator music from the 80s, and the selection is vast but most inedible. They do have good local bread and a decent omelette though. 2) Seems like it had illustrious plans to be a grand hotel, but the investors ran out at 70% and now it feels like Donald Trump's bathroom.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice to be very close to the medina and the newer areas. Central market very close by. Monoprix, too, to purchase wine. Rabab at front desk very helpful and cheerful all the time. Breakfast omelettes were decent and the egg ladies friendly. We did get a great driver, Sherif, through the hotel to visit Dougga and Bulla Regia.
Cons: Not a lot of attention to detail to maintaining the hotel. Three light bulbs out in the room. Spartan mini-bar. Because the hotel only had a tiny bottle of water in the mini-bar, we went out and bought our own. Doorman told us that was "interdit." We told him what he could do with his interdit. Ridiculous that the hotel didn't even provide complimentary water when the tap water was not to drink we were advised by the hotel. Toiletries were pretty low quality. No English stations on the cable t.v. Somewhat sad breakfast. A bit amusing the hotel charged $2 for a glass of fresh orange juice when the country is swimming in citrus at this time of the year. Little in the way of hotel amenities/services beyond the very basic.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Decent, if expensive, in hotel restaurant.
Cons: Front desk staff was weak and dishonest. When requested to provide a non-smoking room they said they would move to me one, but it was not actually a non-smoking room and it smelled. Then they said that there were no available non-smoking rooms in the entire half-empty hotel. Then another manager "discovered" that they actually had one, which they gave to me. General Manager's office promised that he would call me, but he never did. Conclusion: Weak management.

7,1 Good
Pros: The traditional house is charming and nicely decorated
