9,2 Excellent
Cons: The location is very difficult for a foreigner.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, clean, and felt "new". The breakfast was very good and our host treated us very kindly.
Cons: We knew this was not "in town" but because it is listed as agritourismo, we presumed it would have more "agri". This is really a quiet, clean, suburban hotel that only is "agriturismo" if you count the apple trees around it. It's not a place where one feels like you are seeing agriculture, or eating foods from the place where you are staying. So, in that sense, it seemed a bit misleading to call it agriturismo. But for being a lovely, quiet suburban hotel, it was excellent.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, the owners were great, breakfast was superb! You could not wish for more! Great stay!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was really a nice place surrounded by nature
Cons: I would like to see more serials on the breakfast time

Cons: Be prepared for mosquitoes in September
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious, comfortable, modern, and well equipped rooms; excellent breakfast (including to-die-for home made cakes!!), and very friendly and welcoming hosts. Beautiful setting, with gorgeous view of the mountains. A car is needed, but it’s just a few minutes drive from Trento and there’s easy and safe parking within the property. Great place!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great stay with the family. Nice restaurant, great pool and spa. The staff was kind and always helpful. Strongly recommended!
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Bit noisy 2nd night
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. A great place to visit Trento from. Restaurant highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing not to like, once you get there. It is a bit hidden away. Room was excellent (3 persons) and elegantly furnished; we were in the older section. Restaurant is outstanding and a good value. We have been here before and will come again when we are in the area.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated a bit above Trento which I found great - very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view towards the mountains from the hotel garden. The breakfast buffet is fabulous - wide variety of foods, warm and cold, and even choices for people with allergies (cow and plant based milk, gluten free breads/crackers etc.). I didn't visit the wellness area but there seems to be a pool and sauna area and you can get massage and cosmetic treatments as well. The staff is very friendly, considerate and helpful and extending my stay wasn't a problem at all.
Cons: Softer pillows would be nice, but maybe they offer them on request; I didn't think of asking for one so that's just a slight critique.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Great staff, great massage. Relaxing great weekend
Cons: If you come with a train, take a taxi from the station, worth the money you spend, it is walk up the hill
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The building and setting are stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I chose an attic room which was small, but had everything that I needed and everything was to a high standard. The food in the restaurant was very nice, as was the wine selection. Breakfast was included, lots of choice and high quality.
Cons: No major issues at all.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We originally booked the attic room but it was a bit dark so we paid 25Euro extra for a mountain view room on second floor of modern part of the hotel. It was well worth it. Dinner was very very good indeed as was breakfast. Parking was easy but beware the tiny little italian roads leading to and from the hotel - we brits are not used to them. When we came back from sightseeing in the evening we had nowhere to park so the staff organised for us to use the hotel garage free of charge.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great staff.
Cons: Quite far from town.

Pros: Staff members are excellent! Very kind and professional. They made staying maximum comfortable. Location is very good.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Sweet host. House in the middle of a vineyard. Nice, new facilities. Extra bed added and worked out great for our family of 4. Indian/Italian restaurant in town was surprisingly good. We only stayed one night on our way from Bavaria to Pisa. Gorgeous views!
Cons: A little hard to find. Would have been near impossible at night. There is one right turn in town where there should be a sign for the property but there isn’t. So, took us a while to find it. Think middle of vineyard and far right of city center (facing the mountain) and you’ll stumble on it.

Pros: The hotel is located in the center of Trento. Beautiful design of the lobby and the room. They were came down to small details. Hotel's team doing his best to make sure that any request would be made, and each team member welcomes to the guests. At the end of the visit they have asked "how was the stay"? Listened to feedback with a smile. In case I would be in north Italy again, will return to this hotel. Thank you Grand Hotel Trento!
6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Air on, or lack thereof. Did not work well at all. Room 201/202
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, perfect location, very clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. Worth the rate paid for August.
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities which I expect to find in a 4 star hotel. Some staff were more knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions than others - some training may be needed. Parking fee is slightly high.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very near to train station. The room was spacious and very clean, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff were very polite and always ready to assist us. Would stay again in this hotel should I visit Trento again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, classy, comfortable, as much as luxurious. Great view of the mountains and park from the rooms. Size of the Windows very good, to see a wide panorama. Freindly and informative staff. Delicious food, family table in an antique room.
Cons: Brouchures at the entrence desk could be offering more selection to friend groups, half day or full day excursions to mountains or Garda or neighbouring towns as spring and summer activities.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Very close to rail station and historic city center.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Location is great for accessing older part of town and the train station. Staff stored our extra bags while we were hiking in the Dolomites. Breakfast was excellent, they even have a waffle machine!

Pros: Excellent situation, nice big room, comfortable bed, big choice at breakfast, including not just cakes but also fruit, friendly and competent staff

Pros: The position is just amazing - litterally at 3 steps from Piazza del Duomo! And the room was just perfect! A gigantic bathroom, with bath tube/jacuzzi and enormous shower and on top of that the Roman bath - in the room! Just amazing
Cons: Nothing! All was lovely!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Variety selection for breakfast. Perfect location. Excellent staff. I left my room key in my room but the staff comes even after the hotel closed. Thank you once again.
Cons: There was a big festival in front of the hotel until late night. But it is because the hotel is in the center of the town
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room had an inside a spa! Steam bath and jacuzzi
Cons: To provide shampoo and conditioner for the shower
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Sauna IN the room was convenient! Night time front desk went above and beyond to satisfy. Top location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is low-key and elegant and right in the heart of historical center of Trento, with only 5 mins walk from the train station. The beautiful Piazza del Duomo is right outside the hotel, very convenient location for city travellers who like to make a quick tour. The staff are very attentive and professional. Interior has a very warm atmosphere and the rooms are of Trento city/culture theme, it offers many room types to choose from. Some include a Mini Sauna for two people, or water spa right in the bathroom, good for personal relaxation.
Cons: It was a pity that our room doesn't have a regular window to see the view outside. Also the closet space was a bit small, but since we only stayed one night so it was ok. But if you are staying for more days, it may become a problem not having enough space to hang your clothes. Bathroom is semi open plan, but the lighting is not very favourable for ladies doing make-up. I prefer brighter lighting and it lacks a full length mirror, so you can't really check yourself after you get dressed. I think this can use some improvement.

Pros: Friendly and very flexible owners. Spacious and clean rooms & beautiful garden surrounded by mountains. Good breakfast with homemade apple juice. Easy connection (by car) to Trentino.
Cons: No airco, so bit warm during an August night - but don’t let that hold you back from booking!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely place to stay and the second visit with our two dogs. Not far from the motorway and the ground floor rooms have direct access into the garden. Friendly owners and their home made apple juice comes highly recommended (we bought a 3 litre box to take with us!)

Cons: The bathroom does not have good air flow nor any kind of ventilation. Quite small room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best location, friendly staffs, great breakfast, very nice room
7,5 Good
Pros: This is an okay older hotel on the perimeter of the historic city center. It appears to bea business hotel.
Cons: Our room was on the third floor. From the elevator you had to go down 5 steps and down a corridor, turn a corner. We had requested a room with a view of the castello upon booking and mentioned in at check-in. The receptionist just grunted. We got a view of an old building just a few yards away. Not nice. The bed was hard and so were the pillows. Breakfast was okay, the standard Italian hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, fruit, cereals, yougurt, bread and rolls and cheese and hams. Overall, an average hotel but I would look for a nicer one if I return to Trento.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent breakfast was provided. The room as clean and well maintained. The room we had also had a balcony. Responsive staff who attended to our requests quickly. Plenty of water was provided free of charge which we enjoyed as it was 34c .

Agritur Mas Dei Chini - Trento - Building

8,9 Excellent (355 reviews)
R1 613+
Overview Reviews
Located in Trento, Agritur Mas Dei Chini is within a 15-minute drive of Trento Science Museum and Lake Caldonazzo. Free self parking is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The charming owner, Massimiliano, gave us a tour of the winery along with a glass of his Inkino Trento DOC Brut Riserva; cooked us a fabulous 5-course dinner with paired wines; drove us into and picked us up from central Trento and the Christmas Market; and carried our luggage to and from the room. Now that's service! The room was spacious and the beds exceptionally comfortable, even the sofa bed. The bathroom was large and updated. The breakfast buffet was generous.
Cons: The shower pressure could have been a bit stronger, but that's a minor nit in an otherwise delightful stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable, very kind staff.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The landscaping and the overall ambience of the cosy hotel. We love checking out the vineyard and the lawn with a hot jacuzzi (when we have more time!). We also love the intimate breakfast setting, and trying out Italian breakfast. Mostly, we are grateful to Anna and her colleague (sorry I forgot her name) for making the place comfortable and welcoming.
Cons: The WiFi could be better but alas, this was not an issue as we arrived rather late and did not need to use it.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Shower was ok.
Cons: After one week in Sardinia we have moved to Trento and booked a stay at Agritur Mas Dei Chini. This was so far our most expensive accommodation (97 Euro/Night) during this trip. Sadly it has been also our worst accommodation. We have booked one double room for two guests. The room was prepared only for one person. Sadly we realised this just before sleep. We had to ask for the bed clothes, it took some time to explain what do we need since the english knowledges of the staff were very limited. Somehow the staff who brought us the bed clothes felt the urgency to enter the room and check if the towel and bed clothes is not hidden somewhere. Not a very pleasant visit when one wants to go to shower and is in underwear only... . After all the bed was prepared but sadly very very uncomfortable. Seemed to me they are using some very cheap matraces. After two hours of sleep we were waken up by very strong vibrations from room next to us or above us. I sleep usually with ear plugs, but the noise was so loudly that i woke up as well as my wife. This was running all night in interval of every 3 minutes. We suppose somebody from staff or some quest forgot a phone somewhere and was calling like a lunatic all night... . The isolation of the room was horrible. Without proper sleep we had to wake up and hit the road again. During check out we were asked to pay again for the accommodation. The accommodation was already prepaid, but we weren´t not sure at the moment, so we paid again. Now, more than one week later, we are still waiting for refund of double payment.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice view Good service Nice staff Beautiful rooms Delicious wines
Cons: Close to road
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room with a great view over the mountains from the balcony. Absolutely delicious breakfast with the home-made products. Possibilty of tasting the wines from the owner' vineyard.

Pros: The surroundings are amazing and worth the very long and winding drive into the mountains from Trento. The hotel is modern and clean and the room was spatious. The beds were ok.
Cons: The room was too hot as there was no air-conditioning and the windows were located in the roof and could not open due to the rain. The breakfast was very simple and not at the level you would expect in a hotel like this.
7,5 Good
Pros: Hotel was great and view was super good. Parking was in a parking house although to get to the parking hous was a little tricky. Restaurants nearby .
Cons: To go to the spa section you have to have your own bathrobe and towel or you have to rent it from the hotel. As One reason booking it was the pool for the kid, but the times when kids where allowed to the pools where really limited.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Located in the beautiful area, super friendly and helpful staff, very good meals (I took a half board), nice spa area, vary clean and comfortable! I was on a family trip with 3 kids who enjoyed staying in kids club. Very close (about 30 minutes) to Trento that offers Christmas markets, bars and restaurants and a lot of shops.
Cons: Nothing, everything was ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect The location .. staff.. the cleanliness
Cons: The breakfast was bad
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern, lovely view, big room, friendly staff,
Cons: Small tv in the room, no shampoo and conditioner, empty minibar
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for those that want to ski or to do a quick trip to Trento. The rooms and the facilities are very good, comfortable and clean. They even have a small kindergarden with activities for the kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The food was not at the level that you can expect in a 4 stars hotel. Very basic, simple and not been tasty (in Italy!!!!), a disappointment. Also, the SPA is ok, but it is not fantastic. The facilities are crowded because are not very big and having only one pool with a little number of things on it makes you feel that you have to fight for a spot.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: location, restaurant, spa
Cons: Cappuccino machine was often broken
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, very tasty food and good cocktails. The hotel is located close to the top of the mountain. The view is spectacular.
Cons: Everything was above expectations, there is nothing to complain about.
6,3 Good
Pros: The bar is nice and the bartender even nicer:)
Cons: I think this hotel is over-rated. We reserved 2 family rooms. Although the reservation made 4 month ago, the rooms were at 2 different areas. The family rooms has no windows! Only a skylight that if opens allows too much light to the room. The operation of the skylight is manual, and not easy. We asked to change rooms but were explained that all family rooms are like this and we should have noticed the window issue from the photos online. I seriously dont see the point driving to the mountains and sleep in a room with no windows... As for the swimming pool, it is nice but opens for kids only from 10-18 which is usually the time when families go out to travel. Also breakfast is overrated and is hardly a 3 stars hotel level.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Super location, nice indoor pool.
Cons: Small TV in room, minibar empty. At least no water bottle.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Off the mail road, in the middle of the vineyards with nice view of the valley (even though the sound of the highway in a narrow valley is always there). Family run, personal service. Good pizzeria when you arrive after 9. Large rooms, very clean and with ac. No luxury but spacious. Safe parking.
7,5 Good
Pros: Beautiful view, nice breakfast. Very big and clean room. The facility has a restaurant, seems as a good one. At the evening they have quite many customers. At first night we've arrived and the parking was full. Eventually, the owners found the parking place for us. The owners are very nice and polite, but barely speaking English.
Cons: The bed wasn't to comfortable. We woke up with slight back and shoulders pain. There is a air conditioner in the room, but no remote control. To change temperature we had to call the owner, he changed the temperature and took the remote control with him. So, if you need to change again, you just can't. This was odd. Our room came with beautiful view, but shared balcony with another room. Maybe for somebody it is not a problem,be for us it was lack of privacy.

Pros: The hotel location was off the beaten path and our room had fabulous views of the rest of town and the mountains. The room was recently renovated and had a kitchen (it costs about 10 euros more to use the stove top). Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would like to go back again!

7,5 Good
Pros: Incredibly friendly welcome by all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Without a sat nav I would have had trouble finding the hotel
7,5 Good
Pros: This is an entirely pleasant, if not outstanding, hotel on the outskirts of Trento. Built in a kind of ranch style over two floors in an ‘L’ shape. While the building is a bit ‘sixties’ in style and, in parts, appears a little tired, the staff make up for this. The service from arrival to the restaurant and bar is uniformly of a high standard. Our family room was clean, reasonably spacious and comfortable. Some rooms boast a balcony – but not ours – and all have a mountain view as the Dolomites are all around. The restaurant provides excellent and good value pizzas and a good number of other dishes – but I cannot comment as we all ordered pizzas. Although, seeing other customers’ orders, all the food looked very good. And, as previously mentioned, the service was very good. The buffet style breakfast offered a reasonable choice although dominated by sweet foods. Again, the service was efficient. A version of this review appears on www.undercoverofthewrite.com
Cons: I mentioned that the interior looked a little ‘tired’ - chipped and faded paint and, at the point where you access the stairs there were laundry baskets and other hotel equipment. The location, while close to the motorway (we could see it from our window) suffers from the extraordinarily convoluted Italian road systems so common throughout the country that getting to it from the motorway – and finding your way back to it – is a major challenge. Make sure your SatNav is up to date if you’re driving! Also, the space the hotel occupies is strictly limited and so parking bays have been designated in every available space around the building and in an underground car park. Some of these can be awkward to get in and out of; drivers of large SUVs beware!

Pros: Good size apartment for family stay, air conditioning, parking close to hotel available, good breakfast Buffet
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is very clean.
Cons: The location is little bit far away from center.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was close to the highway and allowed late arrival, I warned about that in advance. The young guy at the reception was waiting; also he was very charismatic, speedy and to the point. It was a short and smooth stay.
Cons: Hot water could arrive quicker
9,6 Excellent
Pros: very good restaurant and good and quick service
7,9 Good
Cons: We booked a room in the hotel but instead got an apartment. It was spacious and nice but not exactly what we booked.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Parking and parking problems
Cons: Very good and beautiful hotel, clean and cozy. EXCELLENT bar
7,5 Good
Cons: The room only had a skylight. It felt boxed-in. I was hoping for a normal window. For 3 people it was a bit small.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and location perfect. I asked for a quiet room and really got one.
Cons: The room was really hot for the first night and one couldn't use the air condition yet as it was still early summer (+26C in the room). For the next nights the electronic roof window was opened with help from the reception - (there could be instructions in English on paper) and it was fine.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Seemed to be easy to hear occupants in rooms above.

Cons: Porch could be cosier.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really nice, the room was good. We arrived very late so we just stayed some hours but overall we are very satisfied
9,6 Excellent
Pros: everything fine
Cons: the breakfast was nothing special
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Dinner was OK. Clean and very friendly and helpful staff especially the girls on reception.
Cons: We upgraded to half-board option for 22 euros but was only allowed to choose antipasti and primi, which basically meant a small starter and a pasta dish, then ice cream or fruit for desert. We were not allowed to choose a secondi dish instead of having the primi course. The dinner was good but I do think we should be allowed a meat course instead of primi, which I think makes the half board option not good value.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Best Western hotels are pretty good, the level is quite uniform between all the structure. No big surprises then. Good thing is the free parking inside the area.
Cons: Nothing in particular. Hotel is nice.
