8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, activities were fun! The free beverages daily was great! Also the ramen and beer at the end of the day was a great idea!
Cons: Too many China tourists and their behaviour was terrible. Hogging the massage chairs, speaking loudly, shouting in the hallways, etc. Wasn't the hotel's fault but maybe need to limit the number of these China tourists in the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was perfect free food free drink!
Cons: Pillows left my neck sore
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Worth it!! price, location and surrounding are very convenience, easy to walk around and near shinsaibashi and namba area, a lot of restaurant around there and easy to find drug store etc.

Pros: Surprised service
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s very clean. Breakfast is very good.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly. There are some thoughtful details in the design. For example, on each floor, there's a scale for guests to weigh their luggage. Probably there are a lot of guests coming for shopping. The hotel even provides a sheet listing all the airlines and their limits regarding luggage weight. I didn't participate in any of these but if you are into activities, the hotel provides some culture-related activities every day for free.
Cons: The lobby is a bit noisy because there are free massage chairs (which are always full) and the lounge too close to the front desk.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, clean and all the extras
Cons: Nothing you don’t already know about Japanese bathrooms and room size in general
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All I can say is 10 10 10 10 10 10 for everything about this hotel

Service: the staff from Reception, Concierge (Hazuki Nagano san and her teammates), Bell Captain and Cooka Restaurant were all polite, friendly, efficient and very helpful. The housekeeping staff has done an excellent job. Room: spacious, comfortable, quiet, unbeatable view, very clean especially the bathroom, excellent wifi connection, TV channel with international news, replenishment for tea and coffee making. It was our second time to stay in this hotel. We had an excellent time in Osaka. Thank you.

Pros: Great location for visiting Universal Studios! The rooms were very spacious for Japan.
7,0 Good
Pros: Perfect location right next to Universal Studios with great views on both sides from most rooms. Excellent staff. The check-in and check-out process was great. The Jurassic Park feel at the front is well done.
Cons: Distance from Shin Osaka station isn't great but we knew that in advance. All in all a good hotel.
7,7 Good
Pros: Hotel Universal Port is a nice modern hotel catered to families. The minute you walk in your are faced with all types of minion characters as part of the decoration. Our kids loved it. They also have special Minion rooms which we did not know about ahead of time. Staff was professional and attentive. One of the few hotels we could find that could accommodate four people in a room.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was ok. Very little western food. We expected an omelet ststion but they didn't have one. An abundance of Asian food. location of the hotel is out of the way from the center of Osaka so takes a couple of trains to get to Dotonbori but you get used to it.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: You couldn't get any closer to Universal Studios and the staff were so amazingly helpful they went above and beyond. Beautifully rooms, beautiful hotel, great food and a touch of luxury. Thank you.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: When you arrive at Universal City, you simply have exit the station and you are less than a minute from the hotel. Then to make it better, you are just across the from the park. Food, staff, and area were great. Bed a little hard, it is to be expected. Very easy to get to the aquarium and huge ferris wheel (only 10 mintues by ferry, which is across the street). Truly enjoyed the hotel and because of this, we were able to enjoy our time in Osaka.
4,2 Okay
Pros: Close to USJ. The outside and lobby of the hotel. Restaurants were available in the hotel and nearby.
Cons: My city view room had a view of a hedge. There was this nasty stained chaise lounge thing in the room that served no purpose. The spot the chaise was in would be better served by putting a table and chairs in its place. Staff was unfriendly and not helpful.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The location can't be beat if Universal Studios is your destination. It is also right next to the Universal City train station. The lobby is grand and swanky - reminded me of the recent Great Gatsby film. You can buy your Universal Studios tickets and Express Passes at a desk in the lobby. We were not able to check in early, but they did hold our bags, and even delivered them to the room when we came back at check-in time.
Cons: The breakfast buffet is expensive; it is not included in the room price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location to Universal City. The view of the park from our room was amazing!
Cons: No complaints.

6,7 Good
Pros: Good service
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t up to standard
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a luxury class property that still manages to exceed expectations, mostly due to the professional and attentive staff. Every single staff member we encountered performs at a very high level. The rooms, view, and facilities are absolutely first class. We were there for my wife's birthday and they made every encounter special. We also enjoyed the piano bar and playing of Walter Clark. Additionally, we had one of our greatest culinary experiences at La Baie with Chef Gilbert and his super staff. Michelin is sleeping if La Baie only has one star.
Cons: Absolutely nothing not to like. "It's only money and you can't take it with you" :)
7,4 Good
Pros: concierge is very good
Cons: no welcome fruits, nobody helping to open heavy entrance door, poor choices for breakfast. At least for New Year they could do something nicer for breakfast.

Cons: A bit difficult to find the lobby hotel if you come from MRT station because once you enter the glass door, all you’ll find are just the fancy restaurants and shops just like a mall and there’s no direction where’s the lobby hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I got a lot more than I paid for at Hotel Nikko. The room was comfy with great dimmable lighting, quiet AC, and clean. The staff was incredibly helpful- carrying shopping loot all the way from my taxi to my room, and generally available for any questions I had for them.
Cons: One pet peeve: a power outlet closer to the bed would have been nice, but this was not a problem.

Pros: Great location to the main shopping district. Walking distance to halal eating places. The amenities in the room with the Onsen like bath are wonderful.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Truly the best hotel I have stayed out in a long time. Centrally located, amazing amenities and wonderful staff. The fitness center and spa is a must stop.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all - horrible experience!
Cons: Firstly I was imposed a “security” deposit which was not imposed on my friend checking in at the same time. I fail to understand the discrimination. Let aside the fact that their payment machines did not accept my bank cards (which were accepted at all other places across Japan and at other prestigious hotels!) Secondly, the reception staff could not even express themselves failing to communicate about services at the so-called 5star hotel.. no idea which restaurant where, which lift.. the building is a maze! Thirdly, travel desk communicated a taxi fare of 5400 which actually ended up costing me more than 15,000!!! No - do not blame it on the traffic, blame it on incompetence & poor customer service. Fourth, I was refused a flexible/late check out despite they had rooms available- so being a high level booking.com member did not help. Fifth, I ended up dragging my suitcases around to the airport to only find out that they have payable services that assist with luggage transfer to the airport which they did not bother to even communicate despite the fact that I kept asking for best options to check out... Lastly, it was my 4th & last hotel in Japan, the most expensive one and the most disappointing one - I felt insulted for the first and last time in Japan (in a 8 days/4 cities stay) at this hotel due to its staff. Yeah, blame it on the back of xmas and busy time now!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel!! Ambiance, smiles, services were excellent.

Pros: Very hospitable staff, excellent breakfast - many choices, Japanese and western buffet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great view of the city from the room. Automatic lights and curtains console was convenient and fun. Beautiful hotel !
Cons: It is a bit away from the action, but a short walk to the various forms of public transport so not a big deal. The free shuttle from the Osaka jr station is a bit hard to find. Clearer instructions on getting to the proper gate and where to wait could be updated on the booking.com website. Otherwise the shuttle is very useful and good service!

Pros: Great room with amazing views. Shuttle bus into Osaka and back a real plus. Peaceful atmosphere.
Cons: Breakfast expensive.

Pros: The hotel is located only 2-3 mins walk from subway. The hotel is very clean and comfortable to sleep. Hotel staff are good and have a prompt service.
Cons: The variety of breakfast is limited , only got a japanese breakfast set (fish) either or American Breakfast (salad and egg).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast: not much limited option Location: Good
Cons: Have more breakfast option
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The flow from the air conditioner goes directly to the bed side. It was very uncomfortable during sleep when the cold wind blow directly to my head & face; even if I switched to another side of the bed I can still feel the wind flow. I tried to turn off the air conditioner but it becomes too suffocating.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness and spaciousness (by Japanese hotel standards) are exceptional. This is the second time we've stayed at the hotel in more than 5 years and there is hardly any visible wear and tear - this is clearly a very well maintained hotel. The fantastic, powerful showers are a major highlight of the room. Great location next to 2 convenience stores, a supermarket and the Kitahama subway station.
Cons: We asked for 1 extra pillow each for our party of 4 but were told only 1 extra pillow was available. After some repeated requesting, 2 were provided, Very odd that a hotel of this size would be so lacking in supplies. In general, the service (albeit polite) and facilities in this hotel are spartan. The laundry facilities were terrible, almost to the point of being a scam. The combination washer dryer machines are absolutely rubbish at drying. Even after more than 2 hours (@ 100 JPY/ 30 min), clothes were dripping wet. When the drums were manually turned, it was clear that there was still water sloshing around in the drum while the dryer function was running - basically just steaming my clothes. Had to leave clothes wet overnight until the nearest coin laundry opened in the morning to complete the laundry.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: nice and large room, comfy bed also large bathroom.
Cons: laundry room is on 2nd floor which is smoking floor. on 8th floor is very busy, better provide more laundry machine on 8th floor. location is not convenient for JR .
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very near the train station & surrounded by restaurants & 7-11. Breakfast not included the the room but we had dinner in their Japanese resto that served very delicious food! The comfy king-sized bed & extra bed are comfy with very adequate soft pillows. Linens and towels are clean and new. Good supplies of toiletries, tea and good coffee grain with filter. The toilet seat, shower and bathtub are superb. Soundproof rooms.
Cons: I hope for a cleaner table top and floor. I was at the reception area alone with my computer while waiting for my room to cleaned. I was talking to my patient from the Philippines with my cell & the receptionist approached me twice to lower my voice. I was not shouting nor laughing on the phone and no one was there except me & the 3 receptionists talking to each other at the front desk. I was pretty sure that I was not disturbing any guests then.

Easy access to the hotel from the train station. Good rooms at good prices as we stayed here for 8 nights. Given the hotels location above the trian station its very easy to travel to other sububrs like Kyoto. I would hihgly recommned this hotel. Hotel also has a very good gym.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: nice service in the hotel. nice meal
Cons: Can alert the tourist about the rules of using hot spring. many mainland china tourist didn't understand the rules, their hair will put in the water, also they will play at the hot spring area. However, there are no staff would told the tourist of the rule, so we cannot enjoy in the hot spring. I hope the hotel staff can pay more attention on the tourist who not following the rules.

Approx 5 min. walk to subway station. 5 minute cab ride (700Y) or free shuttle to Namba station. Looking forward to visit again.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Very helpful staff. Good bathroom
Cons: Not close to subway station
7,5 Good
Pros: Now It is not high season for tourism, so there are not many tourists as I thought and not noisy. The room is clean. Good location. 10 mins walking to nearest train station and about 10 mins walking to the central shopping centers.
Cons: Staff in the front limited English speaking. I booked online which included breakfasts, but the staff there said my order doesn’t include breakfast because I have discounts booking online. I think it is the website provided discounts for people who booked via booking application, and it is not the reason that the hotel refused providing standard service for their customs.

Pros: BEST SERVICE~~~~!!!!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is clean, most staffs were attentive and helpful.
Cons: My family and I were extremely disappointed of the services provided by the breakfast restaurant. It was poor and much below standard compared to other 5 star hotels. Staff were unfriendly and not helpful, in fact rude to a certain degree. I would not recommend having breakfast or dine at the restaurant. Otherwise services from guest services, front desk and butler services were outstanding.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms, excellent service, great location. Not overpriced considering the quality.
Cons: Breakfast was decent, though nothing to write home about
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and very kind service.
4,0 Okay
Cons: Small hotel. Very poor level of service to only serve a very few clients. Our room was extremely small eventhough we paid $800 per new night. Only one restaurant that closes sharply at 10. Quite simple breakfast on s cond day and majorly overpriced. No upgrade is give to Marriot member but everyone know that already. I would not recommend it. You can find a better hotel at leas than half price. Very sad property.

7,1 Good
Pros: Location and size of the room
Cons: Had to pay for the fitness center
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Located literally next to Osaka's Sky Tower and rotating garden/restaurant. Not far from Umeda station as well. Hotel is also very nice, but best of all was the service, which was impeccable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is exceptional and perfect. Only comment which can be better is the TV program which need to have few international channel.
6,3 Good
Pros: Rooms were a good size and bathroom was very good. The bus shuttle from the station was excellent, very polite drivers and perfect timing.
Cons: We booked Executive Club floor, on 4 occasions when we went to the Club Lounge, we were told to return to our room and await a phone call as the Lounge was full. The area is far too small to cater for the guests. Also very long queues when we went for breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor. Room service took an hour to deliver an order of soup. Overall the efficiency in the food areas seems very poor. Very slow to clear tables and seat waiting guests, even though there were a lot of staff present. Overall very disappointed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service from the staff were exceptional and perfect. Breakfast was absolutely totally delicious. Enjoyed my Japanese breakfast spread. I was given the perfect view room, with spa lotions and smoothing oil topped up every day. Distance from Osaka station is a nice walk or you can take the shuttle. Room was spotless every single day and I didn't even ever get to see the room service trolley.. Love the size of my room and love the deco of the hotel. Classy and Beautiful!
Cons: None.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We really appreciate the great facility , good food and an excellent staff hospitality.
Cons: Can’t say much, may be few more restaurants
7,3 Good
Pros: Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar near the lobby was absolutely great. Bartender was very genuinely kind and knowledgable.
Cons: lady at check-in office was very curt in her communication (smaller woman with glasses). The hotels restaurant does not offer 24 hour room service, and the hotel does not allow deliveries, so if you find yourself hungry past the kitchen hours, you are screwed. Concierge is off duty after 10pm, so again, any late-night info is non-existent. Location was very far from any nearby attractions, even any row of shops/restaurants.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room, comfy bed and pillows, good view from the room
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The convenient shittle services provided by the hotel to Osaka station. The staff are very helpful and communicate well in English
Cons: The interiors of the hotel look dated. The management should look into cleanliness of rooms as I spotted coxkcroach in bathroom.

Pros: Great value for money for the location. Buffet breakfast. Right outside the station-convenient.
Cons: Rooms were good but the bathroom was tiny.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very new and roomy
7,0 Good
Pros: The stuff were very polite and the room was very clean, tidy and neat. The hotel is literally next to the train station and almost in the heart of the Dotonbori action being just a few blocks away. 7/11 is next to the hotel in case you get the munchies or you come late from the airport.
Cons: Unfortunately, despite the rooms being clean and tidy, they all? come with a wooden floor. So when above you or next to you a person drags their chair/stool late in the night, it is very loud. Particularly my first night was a mess. I requested to move out but the room that was available was next to a very loud person - at 1.30am. So I had to choose either stay in my current room with the person above dragging the chair from 8pm till 4am! or stay next to the loud one. I am surprised that the hotel (the reception was apologetic though but it is not their fault if people do not have manners) could not intervene and talk to the guest at that hour considering that he/she kept me awake (I think I got one hour sleep) for all the three nights I stayed there unfortunately. Perhaps a simple solution could be to put a carpet. Besides that there was nothing bad with the hotel or the stuff

Pros: Property is nice great staff.
Cons: Rooms are very small. No air conditioning is a definite minus. 75 degrees outside and only option is to use the heat. Very noisy but hotel staff was accommodating to move room.
6,5 Good
Pros: Free bus to station partly compensated for distance.
Cons: Lounge prices were excessively high: 1300 yen for a cup of coffee (3 times the Starbucks prices), but there is nowhere else to sit to conclude a short business meeting.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: There’s a 7/11 on site that’s super convenient!
Cons: Didn’t realize we had to make reservations for the restaurants inside the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient.
7,0 Good
Pros: The shuttle bus between hotel and Osaka Station is very frequent. There are many restaurants in the hotel. Good place to stay if you have a day trip to Kyoto because there is direct train to Kyoto from Nakanoshima station.
Cons: Public bath and gym are not free of charge. Need to take shuttle bus to Umeda and then subway to other popular areas such as Shinsaibashi, Namba and Abeno.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean
