Kensington College Backpackers

College Backpackers is a budget accommodation located in Toronto, Ontario. It is located less than two miles from the Toronto Island Airport, it also provides easy access to other things that guests will want to see and do in the city. Pearson International Airport is 11 miles away and Queen’s Park can be reached in 14 minutes on foot. Kensington Market is just four minutes away by foot, and the Blue Banana Market is even closer. For those interested in a little R&R, the VRPlayin entertainment center is in walking distance.

There are 48 guestrooms on property, and all of them are nonsmoking. Guests will be able to choose between single, double, and dormitory rooms to fit their needs and the size of their group. Note that this is a hostel-like property with minimal amenities, but plenty of affordability. Rooms offer air conditioning and bedding. Note that the bathrooms here are shared. Some of the rooms offer balconies that overlook the surrounding area, as well.

The property itself offers additional benefits and amenities. Guests will find a shared kitchen where they can make food. There’s also a shared lounge and TV watching area for communal enjoyment. Complimentary breakfast is served each morning, and there is free high-speed Internet access.

Guests will need to venture out to find lunch and dinner. Thankfully, there are plenty of options, including Seven Lives, which serves up contemporary food. Ramen Isshin offers Asian food, while The Burgernator delivers American-style fast food. Mother’s Dumplings offers Chinese cuisine, as well.
