Pros: In the beginning I reserved a cheaper but cute hotel close to the station; Then when I saw this one, I thought that the SPA would be a huge plus so I decided to increase my budget. I am happy that I did it. The hotel is amazing, it looks very authentic, the restaurant is good and the breakfast is a feast. The staff is really nice and trustworthy (I have lost my earpods, they found them and gave them back to me). The room was charming, cosy and clean. The SPA is a huge plus. The weather in Stralsung was very bad abut staying at this hotel really made our weekend great.

Cons: The very pleasant front of house staff could be better trained in the needs of disabled guests. We had booked a room with total step free access, but were allocated one up "just four steps, are you sure you couldn't try?" A note to any future disabled guests, there is easy access to the rear of the hotel in Fahrwall, rather than use the steep ramp up to the main front door.

Cons: The bedroom was very small and bathroom super tight. The bathroom door was in the way and we had to maneuvered around it to get on and out of bathroom. We had a shared "balcony" but couldn't leave the door open because the people next door would come in and smoke. Price wise it was not worth it. My sister and brother in law stayed in the same hotel but on their next building. Their room was 4 times bigger than ours. With a huge living area, another seating area and huge bathroom. For just 10 euros more. WIFI was super weak so don't rely on it.

Pros: The apartment was beautifully furnished with high ceilings, extremely comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and a small, serviceable kitchen. There was also a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the small rear garden which would be nice in warmer weather. The apartment was on the second floor of a refurbished building formerly used as a consulate. We parked around the corner at a public parking facility and the hotel next door where we collected the keys validated the ticket, so the parking cost was only €7 per day, which was very reasonable. Everything was in easy walking distance of the apartment, including lots of great restaurants, bakeries and shops.

Cons: Not the most warmly welcome or was it the discreet Northern charme, and there was some confusion about the booking. The rooms could do with a deep clean. Given the ample space available it would be good to have a small dining table in the room.

Pros: The hotel has a modern outside, so I wondered if the interiour would be very modern too. But it was more classic (not old fashioned!!!). The room was big enough with a large beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was a buffet with a lot to choose from. All kinds of fresh salats (not fruit or vegatables) and fruit. On top of that on the mornings I was there I could order fried eggs (with sunny top) and scrambled eggs, with or without bacon and unions. I could park my car on a closed field about 100 meters away (€4,00 / day). The view from my room was on the sailingboats in the small harbour with the churchtowers of the old town in the background. The old town (world heritage) was in walking distance. There is enough to see and do. More than I could in the time I was able to be there. Reason to go back for a longer period maybe.

Cons: Staff was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. Room had no aircon and bed mattress and pillows very uncomfortable. WiFi was so poor as to basically be non existent. Overall, this hotel was not just average , it was disappointing. I would avoid it.

Cons: I had only the one problem, that my initial plan was to have arrived at 9pm but they could accept check-in only up to 8pm. This was not clear when I made the original booking, so I had to make a lot of last-minute changes to my travel plans.

Cons: The studio (which in the web-site was callef one bedroom apartment) wsd licated on the roof had only a failr small inclined window. Even when it was 17 degrees outside and I turned down the heating, the only way to stay cool was to keep this inclined roof-window open, which made it hard yo sleep due to the light ccoming kn already at 5:00 am, and the noise of the seagulls (or other cute birds) starting at 4:00 am. Please note the smaller apartments are located on this uppermost floor and that there is no elevator, only a aet of steep wooden stairs.

Photos are misleading for the 1-room-apartment: 1) there is only one room with the nice balcony shown among the room photos. 2) we got a rather dark room below the roof with small window (of which there are no photos uploaded), though the lovely platform where you can climb out to and get a full panorama of Altmarkt turned it to a positive surprise. Still, they should sort this out so that people know which room they actually book.

Cons: There were no reading lights at the beds. The breakfast was too simple. I would have given 5€ more for a decent breakfast, which would not be significant in comparison to the total price.

Pros: The receptionist was kind, helpful, polite and spoke good English. The building is marvellous and beautiful and our room was large with lots of light, a comfortable double bed, crisp white sheets and an en suite bathroom.
Cons: It would be nice to have small bedside lights.

Cons: Very noisy hallway (large hall, allot of echo) Very small and confined beds Plastic smell (flooring) which lingered strong Quite costly considering you had to prepare your own bed and there wasn't even any soap in the shower

Cons: We missed night lamps (only one lamp in the roof for a 6 bed rom) and blinds/curtains at the dormer windows (top floor), better wi-fi (worked only near the reception).

Cons: No shower gel in the bath. The annoying toilet paper dispenser was always a fight after you took a dump. No wheelchair access was a bummer. The breakfast was really very basic or may I say lesser than basic stuff.
This hotel in Stralsund offers bright rooms for young people and free use of games such as air hockey. It lies between the Knieperteich and Frankenteich lakes, 300 metres from the train station. Most rooms at the Younior-Hotel are fitted with bunk beds and a private bathroom. Many have views of the lakes. A fruit basket per room and a bottle of mineral water per guest are provided on arrival. Guests are welcome to use the Younior-Hotel's leisure facilities free of charge. They include a fitness room, football pitches, video games and table tennis. A varied breakfast buffet is available each morning for an extra fee. The hotel also features a bistro, bar and terrace.
