Pros: New hotel and super friendly staff, from checkin desk to bar. Nice breakfast enjoyed outside in the fresh air.
Cons: The room smelled like bad body odour. No free water and small bottled water costs 4 euros in the minibar. I think that's a huge negative.

Pros: Location- walking distance to a lot of sights, Ladies Mkt, Market Hall, Serdica Station, shops, etc.. Accessible- 4 tram lines in front. I feel safe walking around even during the evening time alone. The staff are very helpful. The room is big enough, amenities are included, ac is working & not too loud, lots of premium English channels on tv:-). Its clean from the lobby to the rooms. Over all, if i have to go back again to Sofia, i'll definitely stay here again
Cons: The wifi is ok, can send pictures but need to log on every now & then but works all the time. Breakfast is the same everday. I hope they do variations every other day? But its sufficient enough.

Cons: Physical M&E needs a total evaluation. I suspect the chillers are way past minimal efficiency standards. Air conditioning does not work well at all. Very uncomfortable when temps reached 33C.

Pros: The helpfulness of Mario, concierge, the wonderful breakfasts and the understanding of night clerk Michael! The spa services of Dee-Dee and Ina were superb! We appreciated just meeting them! Free, bottled water, birthday cake, card, flowers on my 74th birthday! Fun to watch little kids getting swim lessons with proud mamas and papas surreptiously watching! Lovely warm, inviting swimming pool! Toscana Restaurant was great for simple pasta meal and bottle of wine! USA Today and International NY Times available for perusal!
Cons: Nothing! We stayed six nights! What's not to like? Could the water pond be aerated better for carp to swim in it? Would add greatly to ambience!

Cons: Shower head broken and air conditioner barely functioning when I arrived. Staff fixed the shower but never bothered with the a/c. It was suggested I upgrade to a "premium " room for more money but I'm thinking even a standard room should have a/c. Also some thuggish looking weasels with mafia cars hanging around the tragically euro-disco bar. Very very 1980s.

Pros: They really tried on decorations in the lobby, some of their rooms, the garden was gorgeous, and the restaurant in the hotel was handy. We gave housekeepers at night some tips, they brought waters and bed side mats everyday. The location was good, not so busy but close to subway, good little market etc. We appreciated that some stuffs were very friendly.
Cons: We were disappointed that there were no spa tab with the pool. The renovation construction was going on, the beautiful deco wasn't made well, the housekeeping doesn't vacuum and don't leave all towels and toiletries, one of the expensive restaurant doesn't have good food nor service, the elevators were breaking, someone got stuck..Just not professionally executed.

Cons: We parc our car to the hotel area garage..and i left in the dash 3 euro and few other money..drive in from greece to bulgaria.. the day after we get our car to travel in bulgaria..the 2 euro was goin...now is not the 2 euro...because i tip them 5+5 levas about 5 euro..now is not the 2 euro ....was the principal... what about if it was at the car other moore important thinks..just think and act accordinlly...

Pros: The welcome was very pleasant and straightforward and the reception lady was extremely helpful in booking me a table at a restaurant down the road. Room was clean the bathroom was clean the bed was very firm could’ve done with a bit more heating part from that wonderful

Pros: The location was very convenient for seeing sights of Sofia, the staff friendly, breakfast very good, everything in the room worked properly to include Air Conditioner. Good Internet connection. Building has character, appears to have been built in late 1800s, remodeled twice with last one in 1998.
Cons: It is close to the street car and you do hear it in the room,did not bother me that much but might a light sleeper. Does share a entrance with a strip club, but not aggressively advertised and can't imagine being a problem, except for a real prude. Bathroom while fully adequate, sort of small.

Pros: Older style hotel, renovated a while ago, and pleasant. Good sized room, slightly better than average breakfast with room. Room was very clean, and the staff were excellent. Hotel is 2 blocks from central Metro station "Serdika."
Cons: Hotel is close to center of town, but one block into a slightly dodgy area with a few strip clubs and gambling bars. There is a strip bar in the basement with signs in the main lobby of the hotel. It's all done rather tastefully, but may not be a place where families will be 100% happy.
