Snowmass Village resorts

Pros: We loved our stay, and will return. The space was wonderful. We enjoyed the convenience of the village shuttle for transportation! It was a convenient location, staff were wonderful, and very accomodating, and we had everything we needed!

Cons: There was recreational smoking that took place at some point in time during the night from somewhere in close proximity to our space. Because fans sucked in cool air - the space was soon filled with a scent that was outside our comfort zone for our young babies.

Cons: Wish they informed about front office closing early better. Hard to locate the room without assistance. They could provide better directions to rooms for people arriving late.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and right along side the slopes for easy access to activities. Vaulted ceilings, open living space, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen were a plus.

Cons: No air conditioning in unit.

Pros: Was well stocked in the kitchen and was awesome to be able to cook the food we wanted to eat. Was surprised there was an electric grill outside, was really awesome to be able to use. The bed was super comfy and was nice that there was a room divider from the bed to the sitting area. It helped block out some of the light for a better sleep. Was a really cozy spot with the perfect amount of space. Really enjoyed our time there. Staff was super helpful and friendly, was a little hard at first figuring out where our room was but the staff goes over the map and gave excellent directions. Easy to find if you follow directions.

Cons: Was a lot of dust and air particles. My husband and I were sneezing a ton. It was a little warm and stuffy but we had a mini fan that helped bring in the cool air. Had a musty smell after taking a shower but we kept the door shut and fan On, seemed to help. Check out is 10am which came fast.

Pros: The location is very good.

Cons: The hot tub closes early

Cons: The carpets were wet and there was n0 AC-- granted we were able to open windows and that was OK, it did take away from our privacy and I don't recall this being disclosed in the description of the hotel

Pros: The room was extraordinary. Having a fireplace and Jacuzzi/ Hot tub even better. Glad I took the trip to Laurelwood Condominiums. Snowmass Village was awesome people friendly and open for great conversations. Very close to Aspen which is a great place to visit and explore. Aspen is fun and friendly I would definitely revisit given the chance again.

Pros: Parking was easy. Check in/out was very simple and hassle-free. Clean Room. Friendly Staff.

Cons: Very thin walls with adjoining room. Heard a little too much during the stay. Not a lot of food around the site.

Cons: Really only problems ice maker was broken had to buy go out and buy our own ice. The biggest was the fire place was clearly broken as well it aloud smoke to come into the condo even when the chimney open. Soon as we walked in it smelled like smoke. The fire place wall looks black and has been patched up numerous times trying to cover air gaps which it doesnt allowing smoke to come into the place. We were really looking forward to using the fire place during the snowy weekend. Also someone came into the place while we were a way which we had not asked for. It would be nice for some sort of refund or stay in the future based on these things to help with a more positive review.

Pros: On my previous visit, I loved my room so I was really looking forward to my next visit... But my room was not nearly as nice, it was a handicapped room & so there was no tub & the coffee maker didn't work. Two of my favorite things... I was looking forward to sushi but you guys change the restaurant to a Gastro pub... Which is not a problem but what I did order from room service was no longer available so I was a little disappointed this trip.

Cons: The service ended up being terrible and has resulted in a disaster story to tell friends about. Just awful. First off, when I got there I learned there is only valet parking. I hate to have anyone else drive my car and being forced to did not get us started off on the right foot but is not a huge deal so we just moved past it. We got to our room which was nice and the best part of the experience. Then I got food poisoning from room service (Burger) so I could not sleep. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm when off. We had to go stand outside for 45 mins waiting for the fire department to get their and clear the alarm. The kitchen set off the alarm while cleaning. By the next morning I just wanted to get home but on check out noticed they charged a $15 resort fee and a $15 valet fee added on in addition to the tips I gave the drivers. I did not raise a fuss with the staff as they were already hearing from other guest and I wanted to get home. They did not offer any discount or anything for the fire alarm which is bad customer service in my opinion. So, to sum it up, I was forced to valet park, got food poisoning, had a fire alarm set off in the middle of the night, had multiple unexpected fees, and received poor customer service. I still can't believe how bad that one night when.

Pros: Excellent staff and service, beautiful accommodations.

Cons: The first night the sheets had holes in them, the last night the bottom sheet did not fit and the top sheet was nonexistent. The hvac fan ran continuously.

Pros: Had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, the waiter was well informed and willing to go above your normal expectations. The rooms were very small and even with very few people staying guest were all lumped together in one area of each floor. This took away any sort or privacy and quiet that you usually find at this type of resort in the summer.

Cons: Hotel front desk staff were terrible. They would not answer the phone they were slow to respond to any requests and appeared as if they all hated their jobs. Our check out and getting our car from valet was a disgrace on the hotel. Management obviously takes a break after the winter ski season which is not normal for this quality of a hotel. Perhaps some stock holders will look at this 5 star resort hotel that is being run like a 2 star mom and pop motel in the summer and turn it around. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.

Pros: Staff were friendly, courted and helpful. Location is great for ski in / out and 4 mountain sports on premise made it a breeze for rentals and gear transport to the other ski areas. Rooms are well appointed - we felt right at home.

Cons: Our room location wasn't the best - a little noisy at times - too near the lobby.
