Cons: I did a reservation, but when i picked up the car, they gave me new restrictions, like i can’t take away the car outside lima (peru), so it was like a scam
Pros: The car was clean and in good working order.
Cons: Nothing in the booking said anything about not leaving the city with the car. The site was difficult to get to from the airport.
Poor service and dishonest
Pros: The customer service representative at the desk was very kind.
Cons: Upon arriving I waited 4 hours for the representative to arrive at the airport since the desk was not in the airport. Then the contract number was changed, and no contract in English was available, therefore the third party insurance was made void, and extra insurance had to be purchased from Sixt directly. The insurance wall not full coverage. During the rental period the car was slightly damaged by a hit an run. The manager said, over the phone, that this happens all the time in Peru and the insurance won't pay for it, so the Sixt insurance was useless and the third party insurance could not be applied because the contract number was changed. The manager said the third party insurance would be honoured by Sixt, but finally it wasn't. The overall experience was very poor and the manager did not keep his word.
Wrong location
Cons: SIXT car rental was not at the terminal as stated nor at the airport in general. Wasted time and nobody knew where to find this car rental agency.
