The Hertz did not provide the vehicle that was booked despite being shown the confirmation number, leaving me and my travel partner stranded at the Lima airport
When you make a reservation and when it’s confirmed you expect there is a car. When I arrived to pick up the car I was told I should reserve a week in advance. Why confirm than the reservation?? Very bad, I’m sorry.
you lied to me, there was no drop-off in the same location. I had to do it in another location and they charged me more for that. I felt robed.
The car was not ready, and we were not offered a reqsonable alternative. They did offer another car, but it costed four times the one we had booked. They provided a car at night, 14 hours later, not the yaris we had booked, but a corrolla. We had to pay for the upgrade, even if it was not our fault. Moreover, we booked the car for ten days, and since the vehicle was late, we tried to reduce it to a 9 day rental. Thye told us they could not change our original reservation. Brief, they can do what they need at your expense, but you have no flexibility at all. They do not honor reservations. If you want to rent a car at this place, make sure they do have the car (call in advace) . Even when they did not have cars available, their webpage allowed us to make new bookings for the same day...
I rented a car at least a week before getting there. My original rental was for 11:00pm. Because of a flight delay, I didn't get to the airport until 2:00am. At that point, I went to the counter. He saw my name, but said no cars were available. I explained that it wasn't my fault that the plane was late. He said he didn't know what to say. He got in at midnight and no cars were available. Of course, that means, my car was gone as of midnight.
They did not have a car for us and we were stuck stranded. Please refund our reservation.
