Sibiu hotels near Holy Trinity Cathedral

Pros: The employees are very nice and helpfull. The breakfast is very good

Cons: There is no drinking water in the room,only in the mini bar. The money were taken immediately at the end of the booking,it is first time when it happened for me. The cost on the site during booking was 385ron and in the end the bill was 422 ron Never happened for me this kind of thinks . Even in the 3 star hotels you can find drinking water in the rooms,at leas one bottle for free

Pros: The massage was excellent, and the food... Speechless!

Pros: Great restaurant and breakfast facilities, excellent views, nice rooms and very good equipped bathrooms.

Cons: My fifth and last night there at 5 a.m. the vallet got into my room and scares me to death, I asked what the matter, he made a quick apology the went away with not much comment, immediatly after that I heard that sound that clicks when you check the card into the door which made.me think he was trying it on other doors. I called the reception desk and they made an excuse that the vallet was looking for some man's rooms whom he was supposed to help with luggage. I kind of don't buy it. Looks to me they have some kind of security problem. Doesn't matter which room he was searching, you just don't enter the client's room uninvited. Also, limited number of parking spots and no place to smoke, not a balcony or terase.

Pros: Excellent food. The restaurant is at 11th floor of the hotel with almost 360 degrees view of the city.

Pros: The staff was wonderful: friendly, helpful. The breakfast was very good and absolutely fresh. It's only a 20-minute walk or a short taxi ride (or drive) from the historic center.

Cons: It's a bit tricky to find the hotel, but it does turn out to be in a good location. (The name of the street listed on booking.com for the address, is slightly different from what's written on the street sign itself.)

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff: At our arrival, the owner picked us up from the railway station at midnight, since there were no buses anymore. Free WIFI, large, clean rooms, large bathroom.

Pros: It´s a modest pension, not particularly charming; the room and bathroom were large and clean and it´s useful the existence of a refrigerator and free wi-fi access in the room. The breakfast is ok. Also near the pension there´s an excellent restaurant of traditional romanian food (which was recomended by a member of the staff) for very good price.

Cons: Unlike we thought, according to most of the reviews we read, the pension is very far from the center, specially the historic one, about 30 or more mins walking, and if by night you have to scroll a good bit of dark paths. So we were not satisfied with the pension´s location, wich seems to be in the surroundings of Sibiu.

Pros: Clean, very new, functional rooms. Good toilet and shower. Nice breakfast. Secure parking for car. Broadband internet. Good local advice from friendly owner.

Cons: Not so much the fault of the hotel but there were of barking dogs throughout the night and it was the summer so we needed the window open. There is no air-con. Long walk to the centre of town but taxi's are very cheap.

Cons: Parking 40 lei is to expensive compared with public tarif of 10 lei/night

Pros: Effective but unobtrusive staff, clean rooms, capable restaurant (good solid food, if not gourmet). Excellent location ten minutes walk from the main square. Could be a little noisy outside, but room soundproofing was pretty good. Sibiu is a nice town for a short break, perhaps not for a long stay.

Cons: The room was not as clesn as it could be and it was very warm during the night. There was no way too cool down unless opening the window in cold weather. They did not have electric kettle in the room.

Pros: The location is EXCELLENT, right in the city center. The sauna is good also and it's super cheap (10RON per the whole stay).

Cons: The smell of smoke (cigarettes) in the room. As a non-smoker, I'm extremely sensitive to smoke.

Cons: There are only a few parking spots. Even the public parking across the hotel was packed. The air conditioning didn't function and the heat was unbearable. We had to open the windows, but the city noise was so loud that it spoiled our sleep.

Cons: The elevators 2 out of 3 were broken. The bathroom was not clean. The room was noisy even with the window closed. The matress of the bed kept sliding. It is not fixed.
