Parking for my motorcycle
The women that checked me into and out of the hotel had a very bad attitude. It was as if I was bothering Her to Check in and stay there. I won’t stay there again. I don’t recommend this hotel.
Bed was alittle hard.
Staff were really accommodating
The shower and bathroom were not that clean , there was a lot of hair in the shower from the previous guest and on the floor , the carpet wasn’t vacuumed either
The firm bed and view of the muddy river and boardwalk. The nite view was pretty also. She shower was slippery but we made due, because the water was very hot, just like we like it.
Old fashioned charm runs rampant at the Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana. Old fashioned does not mean uncomfortable, however, as the rooms and suites at this 514-guest room hotel still pack plenty of amenities and luxury in.
Rooms start at a spacious 500 square feet and include free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a 37-inch flat screen television. It is worth knowing that the room offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms so guests should make their preference known. For extra space and amenities, the hotel offers two different types of suites, ranging up to 760 square feet.
The highlight attraction of Sam’s Town has to be the casino. Found on an authentic river boat from the 1800s, the ambiance of the casino is classic Southern style. Open 24 hours and featuring the classic table and slot games, the casino will be sure to entice those looking to try their luck. For guests not in the mood to gamble, the Louisiana Boardwalk is just under two miles away.
Sam’s Town offers four distinct dining options. One of the classic experiences associated with dining at a casino is the buffet and Sam’s Town features one that highlights international cuisines. For guests looking for a gourmet experience, they can visit the fine dining restaurant on-site, William B’s Steakhouse. A quick coffee bar can also be found for the morning cup of joe and on-the-go bites.
Showcasing the historic casino river boat style, Sam’s Town is an ode to a special era of the South, filled with modern luxuries.
