Fx Hotel Shanghai Xujiahui

Close to metro station (Line 4 Stadion, 50m, opposite street). Good breakfast location opposite the street (French bakery).

Standard room is small is size, minibar not clean. Had to pass the fire exit before getting to room (room 501) which feels strange/ cheap, airconditioning not very powerfull (warm in room). Towels old and worn out. Pilllow covers old, worn out and smelly.

The location is great and there is enough night activities just around the corner that does not make you feel lonely nad secluded

Could improve the breakfast menu because I am sure you ould not like to be eating exactly the same food for the whole length of your stay. My 3 days was already too much, so if you imagine someone staying there for a week, he may just freak out.

The location of the hotel was good as it was central for shopping malls, IKEA, just up the road and the subway was a 5 min walk. Also when having problems with my internet, I rung down to reception and 10 mins later I was connected with the help of the staff.

The 2nd day of my stay, my power point in the bath room was fallling out of the wall and hanging by it's wires. It took 3 requests and a week later for someone to come up and repair this for me. I also did not like that even though my room was cleaned every day, I stll had rubbish sitting in one of my bins some days, my shower never cleaned, even from the last guest as there was a cigarette butt still laying in my shower 4 days later after I arrived finally picking it up myself and there was someone elses glass case left in the bed, which means, did they even change the sheets from the last person, I hate to imagine. I wont be using this hotel on my next visit.
