Affordable, mini fridge and microwave, lots of channels on the tv, and parking!
Stains on the towels.
Comfy beds, soft fluffy pillows, heater worked great, decent breakfast.
Based on reviews and pictures it seems quite dingy but the rooms are well maintained, clean and bright. Certainly above what was expected for the price. Although it is located in an industrial area which might put some people off, it was very convenient in terms of location and access to public transport.
The shower was small, with the showerhead located at roughly my neck height (I'm 5'9", for comparison) and an extremely weak stream. I wasn't especially bothered by the paucity of the "breakfast" but it certainly shouldn't be relied upon to get you going at the start of the day. Only if you haven't got time to get a real breakfast. The mattress was very very firm, which comes down to a metter of preference. Not for me. Staff was very brusque. Not rude but not especially helpful or welcoming either.
Nothing fancy, but comfortable and affordable
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We were just a short drive from city attractions.
Some of the outlets didn't work, so we couldn't charge phones.
They were happy to switch us into a room with two beds instead of one which was what we originally booked.
We got in late so we didn't notice until the morning that there were no towels in the room, after we left they called us and accused us of stealing their towels saying they were charging us for them and told us we were lying. The bathroom was dirty and had sugar ants crawling all over the floor.
