Low cost, clean comfortable bed. The salt water taffy packet was a nice touch
No throw rugs only vinyl flooring (slipping hazard after shower). No chair to sit on w/ a small table to eat at. Had to sit on the bed or small window sill to drink coffee and eat. Bed lights flickered a lot even after tightening the bulbs, and the overall lighting even with the ceiling light has very dim. I had trouble seeing and had to use a flash light a lot. Heating system is dangerously close to the big bed that is in a very small room. Fire hazard waiting to happen. Turned the heater on for less then 30 sec and noticed the sheets on the corner of the bed get extremely warm. Had to turn it off and leave it off. Got cold at night. No binder with guest info available in room to make guest feel welcome.
Quiet and close to beach
Very cozy and cute! Good location not far from the beach. Very nice and helpful staff.
Everything was loud. Could hear everyone. Doors, people walking outside, beds.... Everything
The room was great and exactly the size I was expecting. There were some marks on the wall that were hard to tell if they needed to be more thoroughly cleaned or repainted. I paid about $60 for a one night stay that included 1 queen bed which was surprisingly very comfortable, cable tv, a microwave and a mini fridge with a private bathroom. There was heat in the room which was great for the colder winter/spring night we stayed for and the remote for the main light and ceiling fan was a cool option so you didn't have to get out of bed to turn the light or fan on when you wanted it. Also the lady in the office was patient with us since we didn't manage to get everything out until 20mins past check out time which was very appreciated. Previous reviews I read said you could hear your neighbors but I completely disagree. We couldn't hear our neighbors tv or the construction across the street from inside our room at any point. Overall I am completely happy with our stay (other than the lack of a pool which is advertized) and I would definitely stay here again. Great price for only being 3 blocks from the beach!
There is a lot of construction going on in the area currently but it's not too bad. They are done working and making noise at a decent hour. One of the main advertized features is a pool which could not be found and was a bit of a bummer. The parking lot is very cramped but they make do with what they have. There is no air conditioning which wasn't a problem giving what time of year we stayed but I could see it being a problem in the summer/busy season.
