Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests praised the hotel's pool, convenient location, and spacious rooms, but many expressed dissatisfaction with service, cleanliness, and some unexpected charges or policies. While some found the staff friendly and the property well-maintained, others encountered rude or unhelpful service, issues with deposits, and misleading information about pet policies. Cleanliness was inconsistent, with several guests reporting dirty rooms or facilities. Despite these drawbacks, the pool and overall room comfort stood out as positives.

Pros (+) Cheap sodas and laundry, the area, the staff members (the best).
Cons (-) Just wish they had microwaves in the rooms.

Limor, Nov 2019
Pros (+) Great breakfast, super friendly staff and the premises are beautiful
Cons (-) If you have a car or don't mind getting around by Lyft, then the location wouldn't matter, but there's not much to walk to

Wonderful
Anonymous, Feb 2017
Pros (+) Comfortable & clean room with mini fridge & coffee maker, good variety at complimentary breakfast, all rooms open onto the inside pool/grass/aviary area, staff friendly & helpful. Lots of chairs, tables & chair setups, lounge chairs at pool.
Cons (-) Mattresses were a bit softer than I like & pillows were maybe shredded foam rubber compacted into a small pillow size, but were okay for sleeping.
9.7
Wonderful
Anonymous, Jan 2017
Pros (+) Everything in the room was clean and decorative. Very spacious and comfortable. Coffee, teas, bathrobe and ironing board in the restroom was a plus. Checkout's at noon!
Cons (-) You had to go outside to the ice machine in order to use a microwave and it was cold outside. Didn't wanna warm up any food that I brought.

Pros (+) Friendly helpful staff, lovely well-maintained courtyard with lush green plants, pool, and aviary with chirping parakeets. Great bar and lounge, amazing dinner. Minutes to Phoenix Zoo, Botanical Gardens, & old town Scottsdale. Good parking. Considering location & overall quality of our experience this motel is an amazing bargain.
Cons (-) Tub and shower a bit outdated but clean and functional.
