Pros: Clean and welcoming. Great for poster bed.

Cons: Shower was difficult to get right temperature.

Pros: Welcoming atmosphere. Warm and friendly service.

Cons: The bedroom could have been a little warmer otherwise perfect.

Pros: The bedroom was very comfortable and extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed breakfast, because of the friendly staff and good full English. The food in the restaurant was also good and reasonably priced. We also loved the countryside within walking distance of the pub.

Cons: The shower was awful. It was quite frightening how hot it got within seconds. A major mistake was made on our final bill, and we are glad we saw it because we don’t usually check our hotel bills. It was, however, quickly and efficiently rectified by the staff.

Pros: one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere

Pros: I LOVED everything else about the place. It was warm, comfy & inviting & the staff were exceptional. Definitely have dinner there if you can. Lovely home cooked meals.

Cons: The only thing (which wasn't a big thing) but the water pressure wasn't that great.

Pros: Friendly staff, free parking, good selection to choose from on the evening menu and nicely cooked food, Peaceful nights sleep and big fluffy towels. Breakfast cooked fresh to order the way I like it.

Pros: The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The facilities Food and drink in the evening were very good. The breakfast in the morning was just more than adequate to help you start your day.

Cons: I couldn’t fault anything the night we stayed.

Pros: We use this property as a base to play golf at Ganton and as always the property delivered what we needed and expected. Will be using this again.

Pros: The rooms

Cons: I ordered steak pie...The pastry was half raw and only 3 pieces of meat in it.after years of visiting the Greyhound...I was very very disappointed with my meal.i always look forward to the pie there.But I dont think I will be ordering it again.To be still charged 4 it aswell after complaing to the waitress was very disappointing aswell.The breakfast was ok apart from the poached egg I ordered. It was barely an egg.half the white was missing.it looked a mess on the plate.my mother ordered scrambled egg on toast.The toast came dry with eggs stuck in the middle There was no butter on the tables or jams as there normally is.No milk in jug for the cereals.And orange juice jug was empty.we were very disappointed this time over the food.not sure if we will book again....although the rooms and service are still good.The food let it down terribly for us.We have stayed there over 30 times aswell.This is the first time we have ever been unhappy with the food.i must say i will think twice before booking again.Sad really as we like to go at least 3/4 times a year.

Pros: Everything was great, the food and hospitality was exceptional.

Cons: Noisy road

Pros: Friendly staff, private parking, beautiful pub and delicious breakfast. The rooms were very quiet on a night and morning so no disturbances.

Cons: Bed was quite uncomfortable, there were some mix ups when ordering food at the evenings (ordered extra sides but these were instead swapped with original food eg: veg chilli with rice and a side of chips came as veg chilli on top of chips and no rice, when asking bar staff on this it was just a sorry and no attempt of change to original order).
