Cons: -
8,0 Excellent
Pros: food o.k., location quiet
Cons: 5* is overrated
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice Hotel, clean the staff is very Kind and helpfull.
Cons: very high Prices for the bevarages.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Choice of food is not bad
Cons: - the mattress in our double bed in a superior room was the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve slept on in over 5 years (disclaimer: I travel 190 days for work p.a. and spend over 160 nights at hotels across 30 countries/5 continents). It was so hard I needed 1 hour hydro massage everyday just to relieve the pain from the previous night’s sleep - in the outdoor thermal pool, thousands of the underwater mosaic tiles are missing, causing skin irritations and even small cuts on your buds while sitting on the tiles covered bench - minibar wasn’t refilled in 3 days, (since no complimentary bottled water in the room) we took the bottle of still water from the mini bar but never got refilled so we had to buy them downstairs in the restaurant (large 1L glass bottles) and carry them to the room - we booked 2x 45-minutes medical massages, asked for two male therapists (as we asked for firm hands, we’re both over 6 ft/180 cm tall) for my wife and I for the two parallel sessions. The guys were at best “striking” our skin. Asked repeatedly to be more firm but no reaction. WORST massages we had in 10 years. - the Thursday and a Friday there were enough beds in the pool areas, however coming downstairs Saturday 10:40 am, THE ENTIRE place was so full that there was NOT A SINGLE free bed available. However the hotel offers special Baldachin daybeds for additional charge and need to booked in advance at the Spa reception (5.000 HUF/day!!). So we had no choice but to pay the extra 15 EUR/day for the bad on top of a 1,000 EUR hotel stay (for 3 nights). Horrible experience. NEVER again.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, ambience and service.
Cons: Nothing stands out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, great and friendly staff, nice breakfast. very nice restaurant
Cons: Mattresses need a brake :)
5,8 Okay
Pros: A fair price for what it offers. Central, has a restaurant with music band ( at least when we stayed)
Cons: There were 33 degrees during the days... so we had to pay extra for air conditioning. Hot as hell in the restaurant too. The plates were huge, we prefere quality not quantity. Personel doesn’t speak english or ohter than deutsch or hungarian. At all. Very hard to tell what we need. Small stairs, like a labirint. Smelly hollways (food). Instant cofee for breakfast. We don’ t expect much for that price just to be fair. It wasn’t. And if I use booking messages for reqest in english and they respond in hungarian, I’m confused. I agree that you don’ t use english but at least translate it with google to respond, I had a response in hungarian. And also I’ve killed a bug in the room am sorry for that. I agree that the receptionist was smiling all the time. She smilled in hungarian.

7,1 Good
Pros: Spacious room with comfortable bed. The staff was really helpful and tried to arrange an appointment for me at the spa. The hotel has got a direct access to the thermal bath, which is pretty convenient.
Cons: Although the Hotel was overall clean, it could use some update in terms of style. The breakfast was arranged without any passion on metal plates and containers and not really of high quality. The egg was already cold at the beginning of breakfast hours. It reminded me somewhat of a breakfast at a hospital or cantine and definitely not what I expect from a 4* wellness hotel. However, I did not leave hungry as the choice of meals was ok. I felt like the target audience of the hotel seems to be a little bit above my age.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room size.
Cons: Breakfast was not great. Coffee was very bad at breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a comfortable, clean and friendly hotel attached to a splendid thermal bath and pool facility that is absolutely marvelous. A great place to spend a weekend or a few days, with or without children.
Cons: If you are looking for nightlife or culture, Sarvar is not the place, but a quick bicycle ride around the town was lovely.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wellness all in one building. You can walk through the building and use the entire facility without having to go outside. The breakfast always had a good selection for every taste.
Cons: Hotels never have the best beds.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was built during the socialism, as such the architecture, layout and decoration on the common areas reflect those times, and get a very retro feeling. That said, this was already the 4th time I came to this hotel as it is perfect for a short break and relax from the daily stress. I must highlight the central location with private access to the city's arboretum, the cleanliness of the rooms, the professionalism of the staff and delicious food
Cons: When/ if the hotel is full in the winter, you might have to wait for a table to have dinner or struggle to find a chair in the wellness area. However, in 4 times I've stayed in this hotel, this was the first time it happened.

Pros: As usually comfortable bathrobes and proximity to the spa is really great. Food is good and staff very nice.
Cons: This hotel attracts crowds and during peak hours restaurant gets busy.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location and the bath was perfect
Cons: The fee is too pricey the facilities are poor and the walls were dirty
6,3 Good
Pros: The hotel is in good position, and is very easy to go at SPA. The room is good and well equipped.
Cons: The cleaning service is not as I expect for a 4 star hotel. The day of arrival I’ve called the service to clean the bathroom and on next days we call again the service room since at 1700 no one had made it. The quality of restaurants is very poor and doesn’t justify the all inclusive price.

Apartman Hotel Sarvar - Sárvár - Building

8,0 Excellent (227 reviews)

Cons: Our family (children 5 and 8) received a rooftop room, while the roof covering was under construction. Unluckily, during our stay, 3 storms came in the evening/night and rain was pouring in next to the rooftop windows. While we tried to reach hotel personnel to get something to wipe the water up, noone was responding the phone, nor was available at reception. Water was pouring throughout the night (we put bowls under the windows) and we went to sleep quite late due to cleaning up (with towels) after each storm the water on the floors. Also, I had to pay upfront 1.5 x the price for which I reserved the room, but explanation was vague. No director was available upon leaving, so there was noone to complain to: how can they afford to treat people like this :(.
6,7 Good
Pros: Room was simple but had all that was needed to have a comfortable sleep
Cons: The reception lady did not speak English. Check-in procedure was a nightmare (long form to fill in)
7,1 Good
Pros: Room was nice, just renovated. Quite big. With basic kitchen equipment, microwave, fridge.
Cons: A bit further from the thermal spa, but still manageable in 15 min walking.
6,3 Good
Pros: Big appartment, in walking distance to the city center (15 min) as well as spa (25 min).
Cons: Top floor appartment without elevator. Kitchen with only basic old equipment. Shower corner and wash basin directly in the bedroom. TV set required reinstallation to work properly. Poor breakfast, same things everyday. Eggs and sausages and coffee only per order which we learnt second day by coincidence only. Staff talked poor English or German hence sometime hard to communicate. Quite expensive accommodation, not worth that money.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Furniture was broken and dangerous. Breakfast very poor.
