Who said the breakfast was GREAT? Awful reviews. I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the breakfast couldn't be worse than I expected. No yoghurt, no cereal, no orange juice. You couldn't serve for yourself. Poor poor breakfast. Just Colombian items, apparently, what about international breakfast? On the other hand, the bed wasn't exactly queen size but two single beds joined. The pool was closed at 7pm, like no other hotel around which closes at 9 pm or no closing time. No elevator as everyone said so we knew about it. They charge you for taking care of your suitcase if you need to after checking out: like no other hotel around (we went to 3 more hotels before); none of the above charge for that (Tamacá, Sanha Plus, Tamacá Resort) and others in Bogotá. No jam for your bread, so nothing sweet. Only one type of bread is brought to your table. No toasts not warm. No option to drink tea or have plain hot water. Air conditioning barely cools the room, not as cold as needed for the area weather. Breakfast is not self service, as it is almost everywhere we have been, so people queue for one person to serve juice, and coffee, and huevos pericos. Most of the hotels barely serve you eggs but you can get all the rest for yourself which makes the service much faster. There is not even a trashcan in the room, only in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel nor come back. And to top it all, when we came back to the hotel to pick up our suitcase, our driver had already arrived and no one in the hotel was capable to tell him if we had stayed there or not.
The staff was wonderful.
First of all, there's no elevator and this should be shown first hand, to avoid bringing handicapped or seniors with walk problems. The stairs are way long uncomfortable. The bathroom was not properly fixed, there was a leak somewhere. Staff was wonderful and overall cleanliness of the place was good too. They should review the policy over tax to Colombians with dual citizenship.
We enjoyed a lot the swimming pool and the breakfast was excellent (with fruits, bread, eggs, traditional "arepas" and even soup). The staff was also very kind and helpful
We had a bedroom close to the swimming pool and the breakfast room, so we heard all the noise from early morning.
It is close to the beach, staff very friendly.
Breakfast and hotel facilities are basic.
Bed was very comfy.
Breakfast was poor, I can’t believe they give you a little portion of everything, not option for people who don’t eat eggs or gluten.
