Everything else! Food, service, grounds, location, amenities--it was superb.
All the dogs around and dog poop on the trails. But that's the dog owners responsibility. Still, it reflects poorly on the hotel.
Sunset view. Free 2hr bike rides daily.
We came to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and booked a room “with a view” for 5 day stay, we got a room that looked very dated, the hallways had stains all over the walls and the only view was a wall of the next door building. I complained, but it took the hotel 2 nights to move us to a better room. We cut our stay short by a day, because it didn’t live up to our expectations. We just arrived from a week long stay at the ritz in Hong Kong which was amazing, the Santa Barbara property was a major downgrade from that both in room quality and staff attention.
The rooms were so nice
Espresso could have been better
Everything was very expensive.
